Why do zoomers complain so much about how hard it is to find a job? In high school I walked in to like two places to drop off a resume and they both called me back the next day. When I graduated college I already had a few offers from people I met in my industry through job fairs and internships. I didn't even try that hard at either of them. This wasn't even 15 years ago. What gives?
>>62264852I also got two jobs with no resume to speak off and merely stretching the truth a bit on my job application. It entirely depends on how desperate employers are in your area.t. zoomer who lives in nebraska where employers will hire anyone with a pulse
>>62264852>that wasn't even 15 years agoDo you know how much can happen in 15 years?
>>62264852millenial ITT thinking nothing has changed
>>62264874Yeah the region probably has something to do with it. I'm in a libshit city and couldn't get a job no matter what I tried. It was only after I made the right friends and leveraged their contacts I was hired for anything. Now I'm a part time parking lot operator :D
>>62264900Millennials had it 1000x worse than zoomers do now, look at unemployment rates back in 2009 and you tell me if you think you could have gotten a job back then, it’s easy as shit to get a job now
>>62264874what’s nebraska like anon. i went to omaha years ago and it seemed comfy
Im 27 technically gen z and I dont know what the fuck people are talking about. I worked my ass off and built a career, theres no trick I just wanted it and worked for it. Ive done the math and assuming my salary never grows again, just maintains with inflations ill be retiring with 2mil of wealth generating assets,
>>62264852The market is job market holds the wrong jobs in elite prestige. Over here, you can't get jobs in retail without Harvard qualifications, but everyone can get into an ISP. To this day, my ISP job remains my only job outside of a random temporary one at a wholesale store that fell behind on their order documentation.
