So when are we actually going to feel the trebles of the strait of Hormuz? Based on consensus it should start end of May/June. These large tankers are as fast as a bicycle rider, so it takes 3 months since the last tanker to leave Hormuz at start of the war reaches its destination. Once this happens, governments around the world will start tapping into their reserves.
Then media outcry will start and social engineering tactics similar to that of covid will be apparent, convincing us to stay at home or take alternative methods of transportation.

(pic related) - How is it possible for all these stocks to jump like this? I'd like to refer to >>62264699. It has mentioned many times by Reuters analysts that consumer spending has gone down... so who is actually buying goods from these companies? Can the economy run purely on B2B if B2C is null?
>>
New Iranian government forms -> US destroys it. Waits 3-6 months, repeats.

>Can the economy run purely on B2B
sure, but workers won't have access to it. This would create a K shaped recovery. Just like we've been seeing for a while now.

that is probably sustainable so long as the government is willing to pay consumers not to work. But we currently have a republican regime in the US and they're not big on paying anyone not to work. So most likely violence will erupt and the economy will be ripped up and thrown away so we can start over. Hard to say when though. Things can get a lot worse before people actually check out or take action.

never
oil was fake the entire time
if someone can fillout the rest of this conspiracy theory, that would be a great help
>>
>>62265168
maybe not fake but replenish-able, and US basically controls the biggest sources, besides canada and iran, and they could easily make deals or invade for the canada oil
US doesn't care if china, and whereever don't have cheap oil anymore
price going up actually is good, US can sell more, Canada can sell more, Venu can sell more and pay tithes to US or whatever the fuck deal they have going on there
basically if your in north america, to some extent things will be "okay" for a while, if your somewhere else you might be fucked. Canada for example might be fucked just cause their government is massively corrupt for such a small population country

i've been brainstorming with claude, and the best conspiracy theory i see is that oil pipeline capacities are intentionally under reported. like the strait of hormuz isn't actually important at all. all of the gulf's states oil can be exported via existing pipelines (and this is happening right now). oil tankers before were either a performance, or just a slight convenience for buying nations, saving 1-5% from not having to buy from middle men.
(the point of propping up the strait's importance is to keep the american Fifth Fleet close by)

I have stated this maybe 3 weeks agao, that the Iran war was a strategic decision by America to control oil globally, since China controls minerals. America's hand was forced since they cant compete anymore on a global scale economically against China. So they decided to take over oil, since that is currently the fuel, literally, of the economic machine! Which is why Venezuela attack weeks prior was step Nr.1. Venezuela has the largest tapped oil reserves. Once pro-American government is installed, I bet Trump, will build up Venezuela again and have them pumping out oil like in the 80s. (pic related). With basic pattern recognition I bet you guys can tell, what happens to these top nations if they decide not to play along with America.
-> check Venezuela

It will start to be felt in June, but I think the most serious effects won’t appear before September.

It’s like covid in February 2020, you could see stuff was going to turn ugly (lockdowns in China, then in Italian cities), but the markets were higher than ever and refused to believe it would happen until March 2020, when the disaster was everywhere, "official" and undeniable.

Same phenomenon here, but on a slightly longer scale. I guess September or October, right after the OpenAI and Anthropic IPOs, will be the perfect time for a crash, in line with the previous October crashes historically (1929 and 2008 come to mind).

Many of the numbers in OP are bullshit and likely AI-generated.

read the news. war is over.
no idea how long it takes for a tanker to ship oil from hormuz to china, japan or w/e, but things should calm down soon.

probably just shitposting but the "deal" today, if it is even real, is only to create a 30-60 day negotiation period where the USA will try to convince Iran they should give up their nukes (they wont).

>the last tanker to leave Hormuz
Most of the world's big tankers are loading up in the Gulf of America now though. Only the Chinese, Iranians, and US 5th fleet care about the strait of Hormuz.

>according to consummate liar Trump, war is over
>comes with many pages of fine print
>zero confirmation from the other belligerents
>it’s just the 12th weekend in a row of the exact same announcement btw

there is no deal yet, there is a memorandum of understanding. but this mean some actual agreement on starting a discussion
also, trump is now lying to the american public rather than to iran:
