Did you ever start your own business irl? What was the result?
>>62269138It's an insane amount of work but rewardingI was at a company that is international now when it had literally 3 workers. That ceo didn't have a life for years but is a giga millionaire nowDoing taxes for my ebay store blows, that's my only experience.
>>62269148>insane amount of workEveryone says this, but I am always under the impression that it means "working 65 to 70 hours per week to make it happen", no?
>>62269138I'm saving up capital at the moment to start one. But its going to be an indie dev company, so its bound to fail miserable lol
>>62269175No dude was on call all the time putting out fires. Traveling non-stop btwn other businesses and eventually multiple offices and warehouses. But you don't have to do that, you get out what you put in. They did nonstop trade shows and he was a hell of a salesman. It was him and a few of his nephews and a few workers putting together equipment. There were some incredibly risky things we had to do to make it work and he always put himself in the most dangerous positions where a wrong move means he literally gets squished. That type of stuff all the time.I'm good friends with one of the nephews. We are all kinda workaholics but his uncle just lives to grind. He was pretty based tho, saw a pic of him meeting Rand Paul
>>62269179Learn marketing and you can make it Anon, plenty of indie devs are successful.>>62269181Nice. I guess it doesn’t really feel like work (not like "work" with a boss above) when you choose to do it.
>>62269138It was a major milestone of finally feeling in control of my life. The first few years are tough but it really is a snowball rolling downhill if you’re consistent and not fucking up too many times. Last year I made a couple grand less than my best paying job I’ve had but deal with significantly less stress and my schedule is completely in my control.
>>62269310GG, I hope to find myself in the same position in a few years.
>>62269326You’re already on the right path anon
>>62269138> crypto cross-exchange triangle arbitrage> net $0, co-founder betray like Sergey> crypto price tracking early> equivalent of one year junior salary + just from donations> robotics attempt> failed, - 1/5th annual salary in parts> DFS app, tiny stake> down something like $300,000 (not my money)> i think we made $200 so far, but if you count fees and fraud and ignore the 300k fixed, it's maybe -$600 operating atm
>>62269175When I started my solo SaaS business I was working up to 20 hours a day. Because first you have tons of work to do to get clients, and when you actually start getting clients that pay and have expectations the works literally never ends. The good part is that when you grow you can hire people and delegate and it gets much easier.
