Starting off with LM.C's new album cover since it got posted after/close to bump limit last thread.

Has anyone listened to Gazes new album? I stopped listening to them forever ago and apparently the reviews are pretty split if it's shit or great
>>
Seriously though, I like Miyavi's new stuff. Being a sell out is nothing new in visual kei/jrock. Dancing with my fingers is one of my favourite Daichi Miura songs.
>>
>>9925939
He's not even visual kei any more, and this is dragging b8 into the new thread. Can you not?
>>
>>9925942
You can't seem to tell the difference between bait and an unpopular opinion.

Yes, I'm sure the talk of refugees among other political issues surrounding him and him being batshit crazy is just unpopular opinions.

Guys, this is the visual kei thread. If you want to discuss general Japanese music, please take it over to >>>/mu/
>>
>>9925972
I just said he's not vk and we shouldn't discuss him here. Don't know why you're including me in this.
>>
>>9925967
Yeah except the people who brought that up were trolls replying to me and I didn't get any serious replies hence I brought it up again. So we're only allowed to discuss currently active visual kei here? Then that makes sense, I just wasn't aware. Don't think mu would reply to me at all though.
>>
>>9925972
It's never been an issue to talk about Miyavi in these threads before
>>
>>9925977
>>9925972
>>>/mu/

You are clearly just trying to start shit in the new thread. Miyavi isn't VK, he doesn't belong in the VK thread any more and you have multiple people asking you to take it to the appropriate place senpai.
>>
>>9925978
Were they also talking about political stuff involving him and dragging out b8 then?
>>
>>9925977
Disagreeing with his politics isn't trolling. Everyone was serious in our discussion of Miyavi.
>>
>>9925981
It's fine to talk about Miyavi but stop brining up politics or get banned
>>
>>9925980
No, they weren't, and nobody had problems with someone posting about Miyavi or other ''ex'' visual kei artists. Other anon was right that previous visual kei threads were dead though.
>>
>>9925982
I'm not gonna get banned for criticizing a former visual kei musician.

Alright guys!
We're way off topic.
No more Miyavi or An Cafe talk.
Let's talk about current visual kei bands, and past bands too.
>>
>>9925986
You are the one who brought up politics/bait again when someone was just talking about his music
>>
>>9925985
You can get banned for shitposting/bringing up /pol/ outside of /pol/ if enough people report you.
>>
How about Hyde's solo stuff coming back?
>>
>>9925972
if you spend any time there you know miyavi threads would just die without replies
>>
>>9925989
>op says leave b8 in the old thread
>anon brings up the topic that was involved in b8
>I say to cut it out

Yeah. I'm the one who brought it up.
>>
>>9925994
Anons like that will turn any topic into shitposting, saying ''don't talk about An Cafe/Miyavi'' won't help.
>>
>>9925993
That doesn't make him appropriate for this thread.
>>
>>9925993
It's what he deserves, really.
>>
>>9925995
But why would you willingly bring up the topic that was being shitposted about not even 15-20 minuets previously? Use your head.
>>
>>9925992
He's a sell-out that should have stopped smoking 30 years ago and he's not even visual kei, he never was

Isn't it kinda cool that Diaura is kinda two different bands now? At least that's how they're marketing it.
>>

>>
>>9925994
Why would you even mention bait when you make a thread? You should've waited a while for the salty anon to go to another thead or go to sleep. Seriously, Miyavi/An Cafe are not the problem.
>>
Julia is so weird but I love her.

Well, there's bait-chan, defensive-chan, and me, repeatedly trying to start any sort of interesting discussion-kun
>>

I don't think he was ever banned, he just couldn't get one for a reason I don't know
>>

I tried to start discussion asking about Gaze's new release but ofc people just want to b8.

Have you heard it? What are your thoughts? I'm trying to decide if I should purchase it or not.

But I am excited about the prospect of another world tour. They seem to be teasing one.

Also they finally left PSC, so maybe they will start putting out better music. I did not really like NINTH.
>>
>>9928620
the thing is, yes they left PSC but the CEO is the same. They haven't gotten away from Tomomi. Them leaving PSC will therefore make 0 changes
>>
>>9926022
Okay here are my thoughts. Ninth is a solid album. There's some enjoyable songs there, some nice chord progression etc. But no specific song stands out unfortunately. However, the album is very gazette. It literally sounds beautiful deformity mixed with some dogma influences. Overall, it's an alright album
>>
Jupiter finally announced a new singer, and he’s good. Maybe I can get back into them now. I lost interest after the lyrical abortion that was Topaz. I’m already going to about 15 lives in August, the hearing damage is going to be real.
>>
>>9929056
If you like him you should check out his other band Concerto Moon! I highly recommend Noah's Ark, its a great song!
>>
>>9928942
So basically nothing noteworthy just like everything else they've shat out recently
>>
>>9926041

It was the best when he toured with Kirito
>>
>>9930327
Kirito is crazy though
>>
>>9930327
>>9930338
Speaking of Kirito, he's a much better guitarist than he is a vocalist.

I gave this one a listen when I had a minute today. I love power metal. I don’t know why I’d never heard of them before!
>>
>>9925933
Is there a place to listen to these albums? Store links, download links, youtube links, sites to watch music videos, etc.?
>>
>>9930766
I’m not sure if you’re serious or not...but
Itunes, YouTube, the usual.
To buy maybe try CDJapan or other exporters if you don’t live in Japan. If you like a band, please buy their CDs. It’s how they make most of their money besides things like T-shirts. Indies bands don’t make much off of their live events.

First in a long string of lives:
DaturA and ジグソウ
DaturA was fun as always. Sad I’ll only get to see them 2 or 3 more times.

ジグソウ...I guess if you’re into more stage presence than music this might be your thing? Their shtick is interesting. I was able to get into it by the last song. It’s a shame the singer doesn’t actually SING. When he does he sounds a bit like Juka and it’s nice. The rest is mostly nonsensical babbling with creepy robotic/puppet like movements.
>>
>>9929056
>>9929064
This is fucking great news, been waiting for the new vocalist
>>
Will I see any other gulls at any of these lives? It’s always nice to meet other fans that aren’t necessarily Japanese.

From my job. I work in the music industry. My company lets me choose 3-4 shows a month as an incentive. So if I want to see one of the smaller bands I like, usually I don't have to pay for it. Popular bands I pay for myself. Downside being I work odd ass hours and have to deal with crazy fucking musicians all day.

There is, perhaps, only one medium of art that matches the excellence of vidcons and that is (obviously) visual kei. Combining absolutely exquisite j-rock and j-pop, sprinkled with hints of vidcon melodies, with the pyrotechnic visual flare that the Japanese are known for, visual kei takes its viewers on a rollercoaster ride of lights, fanfare, and music that even Beethoven could tap his toes to. Would that I were Japanese, (though under careful scrutiny, it appears my geneology tree does in fact show signs of a Japanese presence) I too would participate in this art of the 21st century and even perhaps venture onto the visual kei stage myself. It is no surprise that the impotent minds of Western society cannot fully grasp the total splendor of visual kei and instead choose to squandor their time listening to rap and country "music".

I love them. Their songs are fun. The members are just nice too. So I’m planning on going to every live of theirs I can until they disband.

Any clue on how to get their last single? I picked up the rest of their discography at TnT, but I cant find a way to order this upcoming one.
