Old thread >>9976864

In the last thread, we talked about non-Chinese lolitas and investment plans so you can afford burando. That is until 20K Anon flaunted her APs (Angelic Pretty and Agent Provocateur).
>>
>>9989414

Lol that girl whose wardrobe you posted is far from rich. She just milks her hubby to death for the brand.
>>
>>9989421
who I’m curious
and they probably used it for aesthetic
>>
>>9989414
I really hate this display choice. It’s not useful at all, and keeping clothes out in the open is going to get dusty
>>
>>9989505
She has a husband AND a girlfriend. The girlfriend is long distance.
>>
>>9989505

I think she used to have both, but broke up with the gf recently.

Also if we keep talking about her might get the thread nuked for reasons better elaborated elsewhere.

Anyways any rich lolitas in particular you admire on IG/Tumblr/the usual?
>>
>>9989414
those green plastic hangers are such a fucking eyesore. why would you spend thousands on collecting brand and not get nice wooden hangers? don’t know why, but this really rubs me the wrong way.
>>
>>9989529
They look cute - I prefer pillow hangers myself but sometimes you need the plastic ones because they have the little dents for straps or extra bits of the garment that need to be hung a certain way.
>>
>>9989414
I think my wardrobe looked the same and I was far away from being rich lol
>>
>>9989531
You can still get nice wooden ones that have that. Plastic is cheap as shit.
>>
>>9989548
i use those velvety hangers, my hanger bar would break if I used wood >_<
>>
>>9989581
I use those too

>>9989529
I wouldn't be able to fit all my dresses in my closet and wardrobe if I used wooden hangers. I'd use them if I had more space though

Going to summarize the stereotype of the "rich family lolita", and generalize quite a bit.
Not a call out to racks on racks of 20's lolita, but I could see them taking it that way. Apologies in advance, if she wants to apply the generalizations to herself, she can handle it.
For the poorfags who lack exposure to the dealings of rich people, yes, high-consumption lifestyles of luxury are a definite reality for some adult children of well off families.
Rich parents feel compelled to provide economic support for their adult children, and eventually the families of their children.
The result of this behavior?
With an almost certainty the more unearned income adult children recieve, the less wealth they obtain for themselves.
The opposite is also true, children of the wealthy who do not recieve unearned income from their parents are much more likely to become independently wealthy. That would be boring to talk about, so I'll keep focused on those that do recieve money.
It's a very simple concept, it's easier to spend other people's money.
Rougly half of adult children from affluent families will be given $30000 a year or more.
No, it is not likely to end in the late teens or 20's.
This is cause for concern, because most adults learn their spending and saving behaviors by the late 20's.
On average the adult children will continue to receive the same amount of money until 35, and only into the 40's to 50's will these gifts begin to become sparse.
These are self reported numbers, so assume they are understated.
That amount is only for sums of cash, if an adult child is being gifted money, then other gifts tend to follow.
Travel, clothes, imported luxury vehicles, a starter home, or rent and living expenses in an upper class neighborhood. Medical expenses, cosmetic surgery, tuition, there are plenty of ways economic care can be given without tax burdens.
Even when the payments directly to the adult children slow down, the care given to the grandchildren will begin.

Daughters of wealthy families are the most likely to recieve this type of care, and will continue to receive it for a longer duration.
The parents often have concerns about the partner of their young daughter, because overwhelmingly the daughter will choose someone unable to earn a high income. Why?
In the conditions of having an assumed flow of money and gifts without any effort, the adult daughter does not place much stock in finding a partner who is also a good provider.
For daughters that are accustomed to travelling often, finding a partner capable of travelling with them is important, but their peers who have high incomes and the ability to freely travel are incredibly limited in number.
In these situations, the parents often strongly distrust the partner of their adult child, yet fail to realize it is their gifts which have allowed them to maintain thier partner and lifestyle.
It is more likely that the partner will begin to receive some share of the economic care given to the adult child, than for the parents to stop.
Unsurprisingly, adults who sit around waiting for the next dose of economic care are not very productive financially.
The concerns of these adult children are often about maintaining the image of a high status life, more than being capable of earning it for themselves.
All future gifts to the adult children become anticipated, and any household income will be spent on the high consumption lifestyle the adult child expects to live.
It should be noted that children who do receive gifts in this manner are not typically jobless dropouts, they're still more likely to be college educated and have careers of their own.
>>
>>9989617
They will typically underperform their similarly educated peers financially, as they place a higher importance on their freedom rather than their income.
To summarize, the economic gifting of affluent parents will reinforce behaviors of consumption in adult children, rather than saving.
At the same time, it makes them fall behind their peers for income.
The cycle of dependence remains well into the childs adult life, and for daughters that choose partners unable to provide for their high consumption lifestyle, they will be the most likely to continue recieving economic care, along with a larger share of their inheritance.
In all situations, the adult child will find it nearly impossible to ever obtain high amounts of wealth on their own.
>>
>>9989617
>the adult daughter does not place much stock in finding a partner who is also a good provider
Gotta disagree with you on this one, buddy. Affluent families want son-in-laws that are equally affluent or have great potential to become so. The daughter is likely to be in the same social circles as other children from wealthy families, so she is likely to marry someone of similar social/financial status to herself. The issue arise when both partners live high-consumption lifestyles and suck at money management.
>>
I would love to see your wardrobe as well anon, and chatting would always be nice!
>>
>>9989626
You're thinking of outliers within the very highest segment of net worth. Most "affluent" kids are just from households with net income of 300k or more.
>>
>>9989626
I don't know anon, I'm not quite in that category but I get about 15k yearly from my parents now and got more when I was still in higher education (which I spent about 10 years doing). They never questioned me or pressured me about who I could or couldn't date.
>>
>>9989618
Isn't this all more about rich people in general not lolitas?

I wish this thread had more rich lolita wardrobe pictures and coords featuring designer brands. I don't really care how they got their wealth or what their lifestyle is because you can read about that anywhere
>>
>>9989627
god there are a ton of desperate ass bitches in this thread.

I wouldn't say that I'm rich personally but I definitely have rich family members. I've been lucky enough to get money to afford my lolita hobby thanks to family gifts/inheritance (and no, I'm not K8). I'm not gonna go deep into my personal details but here's a quick ~flex picture~ to inspire y'all.
>>
>>9989661
after anon showed us 10k this is just kinda sad to call flexing
>>
>>9989661
Taking photo with money is so cringy. I'm far from being rich (more like in the poor millennial category), but getting a few thousand dollars and taking a picture is something even I could do. Please show off your wardrobe, but please refrain from taking these cringe money pics.
>>
>>9989661
Can't be jelly of an arm that fat
>>
>>9989661
This is pathetic. The other anon showed off because her lifestyle is applicable to the thread. Showing you own a few regular "level" pieces and $1000 isn't really comparable to the level of wealth that this thread talks about. But the other anon, showing 6 berry dresses she took just to go on vacation, gucci items, expensive lingerie, and $10,000 as "spare change" is exactly the kind of lolita this thread is talking about.
>>
>>9989661
Lose some weight.
>>
>>9989661

lol. 10k anon please come back and embarrass this peasant

>>
>>9989581
Fuck yeah, velvet hangers op
>>
>>9989661

This is embarrassing and makes me want 10k anon to come back, barnacle anons and all.

I too could also withdraw my $3000 but we all know that's fuckin laughable because that's kinda doing ok millennial tier shit, not 'filthy rich look at my spare change of $10k and my 6 new releases."
>>
>>9989750
A lot of us could do it, but it's fucking stupid. Why waste your time impressing the garbage of cgl?
>>
is 10k anon still around?
>>
>tfw you think you know who 10k anon is because you went to the same con as someone that sounds exactly like her back in april and heard her talking about her grandmother and cousins
>tfw she bought you coffee

This is crazy.
>>
>>9989783
She said she was traveling. I think she'll come back eventually, this is thread number two she's posted in.
>>
>>9989785
I think I know who she is too. I follow her on social media.

nayrt but I know who she is and I'm not going to post it simply because I want her to come back and post more examples of her wealth. aside from having some popular prints she doesn't flex her wealth on her insta and I actually want to see her designer items.
>>
>>9989810
I don't want to post it in case she doesn't want me to. I don't want to scare her off from posting more like >>9989825 says. Her posts here and on insta match up though.

Also, to coffee anon, your rose quartz was super cute.

>>
>>9989887
>I'm back since people seem to care about my shitposts.
ugh it's HWC all over again
>>
>>9989991
HWC was probably some larping neck beard who never provided an ounce of proof and would cry about ""her"" life until people gave ""her"" attention. People actually asked for this anon to come back. She not tripfagging, not telling people to kill themselves or drink bleach for being fat, and not spamming the board with new threads until the catalog is nothing but troll images. Even this anons shitposting is still technically on topic. They are nothing alike.
>>
>>9989998
she's still attention whoring and even HWC had people asking them to come back.
>>
>>9990110
We get it, you don't like people posting OC for these threads. Hide the thread or her posts if it bothers you so much anon. For the most part, everything has been on topic.
>>
>>9990110
the two still aren't even remotely comparable. you sound bitter about 10kanon.
>>
>>9990110

>>
tinfoil but 10k anon is goose.

height and bra size match. Desperate for friends, could probably milk her sugar daddy for that much to flex for anons.
>>
>>9990179
has also never posted actual photos of her wardrobe, just stacks of cash to try to impress poorfags, which she certainly just deposited again right after
>>

>>
>>9990257
same
>>
isn't summer over? shouldn't you kids be back in school already? because teenagers are the only people i can think of who'd be impressed by someone having 10k. I've spent at least double that on my wardrobe this year alone and I'm not nearly rich.
>>
>>9990287
Well, I easily spent 10k this year on my wardrobe, but someone saying this is "just pocket money" sounds at least a little impressive.
>>
>>9990222
She came back and posted two posts, basically just to thank people for respecting her privacy. How is that attention whoring?

>>9990180
>>9990179
It's not goose. You should be able to put together this much from actually reading the threads. It's pathetic that you're so upset about this one poster that you can't even use your brains.
>>
>>9990272
>>9990257
Unfortunately with people mindlessly stirring shit in this thread she probably won't come back to post more of her wardrobe and designer items. It's unfortunate because on her insta she never really flaunts and I wanted to see more of her stuff, but jealous people have to come in and ruin it for everyone else.
>>
>>9990294
i think you're right. it sucks that people being jealous ruined everyone's fun. before i gave the benefit of the doubt and didn't jump to the conclusion they were envious but now that she's being compared to hwc, who used to tell people to kill themselves if they were over some ridiculously low weight and spam cp, and goose who uses and abused people, two objectively bad people i can only think they are jealous.

10k anon is posting things relevant to the topic and having people ask her questions which she answers. it's not like she's making an entire thread dedicated to her and her alone. she even said the reason she came back is because people wanted her to. but people will hate no matter what. just wish we got more oc from her before she was ran off.
>>
>>9990305
>spam cp
HWC never posted cp. That was a troll picture.

I don't know what you expect from 10k anon that isn't just blogposting. She can't show her wardrobe, she's on a vacation. What else could she say other than general chat?
>>
File: Sugar for everyone.jpg (187 KB, 717x657)

>>
>>9990363
She won't be on vacation for forever. In this thread all she did was thank the people who know who she is for being respectful. In theory she could come back and show off her wardrobe and more designer items. I know that's what I want, and other people seem to want her to do that too. But now that there's people acting like she's some terrible person for providing content for these threads, albeit while at the same time shitposting, I doubt she will come back and do that.

10k anon, if you see this, can you please think about posting more examples of your wealth on your insta? Your coords are great and I'd love to see what you could do with incorporating designer items.

>>9990385
This is a bad shoop.
>>
>>9989887
I don't care about your money or brands, I wanna know if you did this drawing yourself and why you're not on drawing thread, thanks.
>>
>>9990385
Why not CTPs or HCs tho? That would be hardcore.
>>
>>9990287
Right? I make $60k a year and I spend a decent amount on lolita but it's nothing at at like being super wealthy. I have enough money in the bank to buy a new car and then some but I need that money to buy a car if mine breaks down since it's old. Or for emergencies etc. 10k is a lot to kids but even at an average 30k salary you could still save enough to have that in the bank to pose for stupid pictures with
>>
>>9990409
Because anon had to find a preexisting image to shoop that onto. It's not the right color or shape for the cut out to be 10k anon. scary how obsessed with her the people who dislike her are.
>>
>>9990395
Nayrt, but the OC she has been providing doesn't add anything of value except for inflating her own ego.
>>
>>9990450
You feel that way, but others want to see oc from her. Quite a few people wanted her to post her stuff.
>>
>>9990410
I shouldn't be surprised at the attitude of "oh you're impressed by THAT? How pathetic!" in these threads, but come on. It's not a contest. It's fascinating to see enormous wardrobes and learn more about what others spend, but there's no award for who spends the most on brand.

Having a huge wardrobe is great but bragging with this sort of attitude is exactly how a spoiled teen with their parents credit card would behave. Reel it in.
>>
>>9989661 is small potatoes compared to 10k anon, but I still thought it was interesting to see.

I'd honestly like a thread where gulls post pictures of their wardrobes. I know we sometimes have wardrobe threads, but they're usually stock picture collages (except for in January).
>>
>>9990466
That would be a threat to our anonymity. I don't think many would engage on it.
>>
>>9990457
Just saying, not every anon is automatically jealous. If you can't post something useful, don't post.
>>
i'm a poorfag who has had to work every day since age 15, but it makes me really appreciate what i have. i'm gonna rub this thread for good money luck in the future, please bless me rich girls.
>>
>>9990475
It's useful to the people who are asking to see it? why are you throwing such a fit over her? just hide the thread or her posts if you don't like it. there are plenty of people asking for her to post
>>
>>9990466
i love wardrobe posts, whether i know the person or not idgaf, only look at clothes
>>
>>9990475
These posts of yours complaining aren't useful. By your own logic you shouldn't be posting.
>>
>>9990477
How is it useful exactly? I'd appreciate it if she posted detail shots of dresses, but the content she has provided isn't.
>>
>>9990485
Comedic value, posting a bunch of similar dresses in one so you can compare the prints, and I bet if there weren't a bunch of you bitching she would post more of her wardrobe and designer items with lolita. Some of us want to see designer items paired with lolita and there's not a lot of people actually doing it, let alone doing it well. She's good at coording and I know plenty of us want to see examples of what she would do with her resources.

Unfortunately this is /cgl/ and you salty gulls will complain about anything. So instead of having someone do something that we don't have a lot of content of you bitch and moan about how you're upset over someone posting on topic in these threads. I really wanted to see her wardrobe too, but we probably won't get to because /cgl/ can't go one thread without shitting themselves over things they don't like. Way to ruin the fun.
>>
>>9990490
It's not surprising this happened. People always complain here when something new happens. They can try and say they aren't jealous but nobody who was so uninvested and ~totally not jelly~ would be so insistent about others not being able to enjoy the thread.
>>
>>9990498
I wouldn't mind if 10k anon would make her own thread but I'd be willing to bet these people who are complaining would go in there and bitch too. I hope she posts some stuff in this thread again or on her insta.
>>
what is her insta?
>>
>>9990490
Jfc just ask/follow her on insta.
The amount of overprotective white knighting is just as pathetic as the few actually jelly gulls.
If you like money/designer item flexing there's a shit ton of it on tumblr. I highly doubt 10k will post coords so I still don't know what you're expecting.
>>
Kind of interesting how cgl always gloms onto rich people who were born or married into wealth (CG anon, HWC, now 10k chan). Show them someone who is working for their brand and even if it's a nice job you'll encounter ambivalence, possibly even hostility (e.g. She CANT possibly make that much for brand a la herajika of old). Show them some old family money though and damn you'll get controversy but always a gaggle of anons genuinely interested in this.

It's probably the same reason gossip publications and oh no they didn't have survived for so long and why crazy rich Asians despite being about a minority demographic did so well. Hint: it's not because of Constance Wu.
>>
>>9990515
Idk people are pretty impressed by octavekitten and she works for all her brand. Tamie too
>>
I still want to know how to commit tax fraud for fun and profit
>>
>>9990514
Way to miss the point of us wanting to see designer items WITH lolita, not the two entirely separate. And if you'd actually read you'd see we have asked for her to post on instagram. It's like you have selective reading.
>>
>>9990513
I want to know as well. :( she genuinely seemed like a nice person to me
>>
>>9990515
People who actually make big money end up leaving the fashion. Like the girl who made Pusheen. They have better things to I guess. It makes me feel guilty, like all the hard-working people realized what a waste of time this is or something. I wish there were more working women who engaged in the fashion but it's mostly housewives and inheritance money girls...
>>
>>9990521
Same goes for you buddy.
>If you like money/designer item flexing [...] I highly doubt 10k will post coords so I still don't know what you're expecting.
>>
>>9990526
She's posted plenty on her insta, keep trying to act like this is someone who's never posted coords before. Maybe if you guys would stop bitching she'd come and post them. But I'm willing to bet you aren't capable of doing that since you're sperging out this much over someone who posted a grand total of two times in this thread.
>>
>>9990525
Oh no why did she leave?
>>
>>9990525
Not true. They don't all leave, a lot of them just are or become very private. There are 2 girls in my comm who work in finance and are genuinely millionaires. Neither of them have Instagram or twitter or post in CoF, they have no presence in the international community. But they are still lolitas, anon.
>>
>>9990528
idk you seem like the only one sperging out here over anyone who's disagreeing with you and throwing around cheap assumptions. If she posts plenty on her insta, why do you want her to post here too?
Man I love HC-chan for example, but I don't cream myself over her and beg her to post her coords everytime she comes off anon. It's just absurd.
>>
>>9990542
>if she posts plenty on her insta why do you want her to post here too

There's that selective reading coming in again. Please complain more about someone who barely posted in this thread.
>>
>>9990528

I think she may stop posting since some anons posted that they figured out what her insta is. I'm not really a huge fan, but I don't blame her, I'd stop posting too.
>>
>>9990558
She seemed fine with people saying they recognized who she is, I think if she doesn't continue posting it's because of people comparing her to shitty people like k8, goose, and hwc, insulting her, etc.
>>
>>9990519
I guess they also don't hold q&a's here so that's probably biasing me. The fact that the other three I mentioned were so easily accessible on /cgl/ is probably a huge part of it.

>>9990520

Study for the CFA and you too can shuffle around finances to evade taxes - legally.

>>9990525

I keep citing octavekitten but yeah she's still here. And herajika still dresses up, but she doesn't post anymore.

I don't plan on leaving even if I make big bucks, I've managed to make lolita work for several years, and my work life balance is just going to get better here on out. I think the biggest thing that would get me to stop or slow down is if I have kids, but that's a huge if.
>>
>>9990537
>work in finance and are genuinely millionaires
They're probably playing it up quite a bit unless they're well into their 30's.
You have to be fairly lucky and in for a minimum of 5 years before you start to make that type of income.
Not to mention all the states you would work in have hefty state taxes and high living costs.
>>
>>9990561
>>9990558
I'm a mutual with her. She's spending time with family and says she doesn't know if she'll keep posting or not after she gets back because this thread is a "dumpster fire" of people being way too upset over her. She's not wrong either.
>>
>>9990561

I agree, I think she's fine with those people, but if I were her I'd be more afraid of the anons who are insulting her possibly recognising her.
>>
>>9990565
I think if they give her an actual reason to be afraid they'd essentially be proving the other side right and make her look like a victim. As you can see, she's barely even in this thread. Most of her posts are contained to the last, it's not like she's continuously posting about how great she is or doing anything objectively wrong. I can see how some people may find it grinding, but to take it to the extreme of harassing her would only make them look bad.

I was complaining about you anon, not about her.
>>
The richest lolitas are too smart to have a big social media presence.
>>
>>9990586
I don't think that's necessarily true. A lot of rich non lolitas have social media where they show off their wealth, so why would them being a lolita change anything about that?
>>
>>9990563
They are over 30. I don't live in the USA.
>>
>>9990305
>it's not like she's making an entire thread dedicated to her and her alone.
except that was my exact point and she totally is. This thread is about her now. Look at all the fucking replies this bitch is getting from desperate anons.

And I'm not jealous just because I'm not licking her ass begging for more pics like other desperate sad anons are.

There is a middle ground here. This anon is an attention whore and has already gained a name for herself from all the desperate little bitches in this thread who are drooling at her cash.

I'm just calling it like I see it. I could give a fuck if someone has 10k. Do you guys all drool over celebrities too? Just because money?

Unless she has dresses I actually want, then why the fuck would I care?

>>9990457
There's loads of OC that could be posted all the time but you need this one specific anon to do it why exactly? What is so special about 10k anon aside from her wallet and unseen brand?

It's not necessary OC. People could post their wardrobes but instead act like chicken shits who think they're gonna be outed just because they own super rare dresses. There'd be more OC if gulls weren't so fucking deluded and full of themselves.
>>
>>9990677
Anon, why are you in this thread again?
>>
>>9990679
I've been here since the beginning and someone felt the need to come out of the woodwork to prove that people come on 4chan have money too like it was important or something.
>>
>>9990680
Then why aren't you complaining about everyone else who posted their wardrobe/money to this thread? Oh right, because you're jelly
>>
>>9990677
The people complaining about her are making it about her anon... You realize the discussion about her would have pretty much ended a day ago if people didn't decide to bitch about her?
>>
>>9990677
>it not necessarily oc

But it is. Do you not know what OC means? Original content. Posting 10k in cash has never been done before, this anon has never posted examples of her wealth before. Maybe stop being so bitter and letting your obvious bias against her cloud your ability to think like a person and not an animal?

Why do you struggle so much with someone posting on topic proof and original content? I am genuinely baffled
>>
>>9990537
What city anon?
>>
>>9990689
>necessarily oc
That's not what I said.

I said necessary. That's different.

All she posted was cash and some shitty glasses and she's not even posting her wardrobe.

Her cash and her non lolita glasses aren't on topic, stupid.

She's attention whoring. And it's not on topic. Otherwise she'd post her dresses.
>>
>>9990699
She DID post her dresses though. You're delusional.
>>
>>9990683
Literally no one has posted their own wardrobe. Not even someone with 10k bragging about it.
>>
>>9990385
You mean this shit?
>>9990700
???

I can't see shit anon. What am I supposed to be looking at here aside from a really zoomed in picture of a dress. It's not even detail shots. You're fucking reaching cause you're so in love with this bitch.
>>
>>9990703
No. That isn't even her, it's a bad shoop. Asking if that's her is proof you haven't even read these threads. Maybe if you actually read the threads you'll understand the situation better.
>>
>>9990703
this post pretty much proves people are mindlessly shitting on this girl because they're upset about some factor of her life like her wealth or her posting it here
>>
>>9989548
I've used everything from plastic, wood, pillow, and thin velvet hangers.

I have about 40 main pieces and I prefer the thin velvet hangers. I can squeeze everything into my wardrobe. I could only fit about 25-27 with wooden hangers, 18-20 with the plush, and the plastic left dents as well as bending on the bar or snapping in transit.

Wooden and plush look the best aesthetically, but if you're going to maximize your space, velvet hangers are the way to go. There are some cute ones too.

>>9989661
This is less than I made at the last artist alley and I have most of these dresses and some that are rarer and harder to come by. I don't make a lot either, nor am I rich or have a degree or good career.

Show me several rare pieces in every colorway and a briefcase of $100 bills, a high end shrimp dinner (because i like shrimp), and maybe I might be impressed.
>>
>>9990458
I'm not bragging, I have an average sized wardrobe with no super hype pieces. I'm just agreeing with other Anon that it would be easy to pretend to be super rich if you're middle class, poor people don't know the difference. Middle class can still buy Gucci just not every week
>>
>>9990699
nayrt but I think it’s less on topic in a rich lolita thread to complain about an actual rich lolita posting content...
>>
>>9990739
this
>>
>be bitter poorfags
>go into the rich lolita thread
>fashion is based around somewhat expensive clothes
>complain about on topic posts

If any lolita had a family or SO that offered to buy them things constantly, wouldn't they accept it?
Are the rich lolitas not supposed to flaunt in the rich lolita thread?
Someone please explain.
>>
>>9990747
I don't get it either. It's entirely on topic for the 10k anon to post about her wealth and large lolita wardrobe
>>
>>9990747
No one is ever happy with you on cgl is all it is. You’re damned if you do, you’re damned if you don’t.
>>
>>9990520
The only way I know requires some family businesses to funnel money through and between.
If you don’t have this option I have no idea.
You have to basically find a way to have official paperwork say you make less than you do. Either work cash or family business where it’s much easier to hide gains
>>
>>9990520
Can't tell if you're joking or not but I can recommend interesting ways to avoid taxes that are functionally similar.
>>
>>9990747
>someone please explain

Jealousy. That's literally it.
>>
>>9990564
Nayrt but she seems like a nice person who was in it for the entertainment value. I hope she can see the humor in the resultant tumult. Greed, thirst, jealousy, gossip, wooden hangers-- it's almost Shakespearean!
>>
>>9990802
There was thirst?
>>
>>9990802
>Nayrt but she seems like a nice person who was in it for the entertainment value.

This sums it up pretty well. I don't think she's upset by any of it, she just doesn't want to come back and fan flames from the sound of it. Of course maybe I'm wrong and she's some massive bitch but from what I've heard about her before this thread and anons coming in and talking about their experiences with her outside of this thread I don't think she is.
>>
>>9990804
In the last thread someone was asking if she's single, draw your own conclusions I guess

That's like 150 dresses or so?
What would a "large" collection be considered, in terms of valuation and number of items?
Can 10k anon talk about the actual size of her collection and her purchasing habits?
I'm far more interested in the purchasing habits of "rich" lolitas.
>>
>>9990988
Do you always struggle this much in understanding humor or are you willfully lacking any form of it to further your point?

>>9990989
It's doubtful she's coming back to the thread with so many people bitterly bitching about her.
>>
>>9990895
Clearly this is on topic because it's about how a wealthy family could afford to give their daughters more money towards burando.

>favorable valuations of assets (1/7)
Low valuations on paper, high valuations at sale.
This skirts legality, but people were buying somewhat large properties that included an existing house in need of repair.
Steel buildings would go up as a garage, then repairs of the existing property were limited only to prevent its deterioration.
Tax breaks got taken for repairs, but new homes were built inside the steel buildings instead.
On review of purchases, it appeared as if the value of the initial homes were entirely sunk into repairs.
Because they would be bought as part of large properties, the "value" of the house itself was not well defined.
The value of the property renovations were limited to only the initial costs of the steel buildings, but over years of claimed repair costs as deductions, nothing added to the value.
Repair and renovations get done to the initial homes, but only right before selling them so that the added value of the property was realized on taxes for at most a year.
Depending on the timing and duration of holding for the property, primary residence would be claimed, and the renovation values were never taxed for the years leading to the sale.

When having property or assets valued by a professional, the owner is not obligated to declare it as the value for tax purposes. Owners of assets can choose which valuation to present for tax purposes, and their final choice of professional valuation is legally binding for tax agencies.
Should be obvious how this is exploitable, and is relevant for a few of the other topics.

You're free to pick from another topic anon.
>deferrment of short term gains to capital gains
>methods of your compensation
>intentionally running loss generating businesses
>defining properties for tax purposes

hey rich anon! I'm shamelessly gonna say i'm an artist, and in need of money. i know you said you'd give 10k to someone if they pretend to be your friend lol, but if you're actually rich and 10k is throwaway change then I'd love to do heaps of [lolita themed if you'd like] art for you/ of you in exchange for that kind of cashhh. i'm a good artist, and you seem nice, let me prove it to you! i'm just poor as fuck lmao. yep, i asked.
>>
>>9991144

It's not committing a crime if it's exploiting a loophole. Considering this is taught within most finance courses and is a straight up study topic for the CFA it is legally kosher. Morally grey probably depending how you feel about taxation, but it's likely how 10k anon's family is keeping part of the wealth. I'm not really interested in lifestyle, I can watch E! for that if I need to.
>>
>>9991077

>>
>>9991077
So can I hire you to do this for me?
>>
>>9991100
The next one is kind of boring and won't end up being relevant to most lolitas. You can look into it independently.

>deferment of short term gains to capital gains
This was mostly going to be about minimizing effective tax rates to be in your favor, and a brief of NSO/ISO/RSU tax burden. (You want ISO.)
At high income levels generally living expenses won't be a concern, so by choosing payments, or investments which will turn into capital gains you can reduce your income tax, and do other things with them later that will reduce your effective rate.
It's important to keep as much of your income and investments as capital gains, otherwise large amounts of it just go to tax.

>>9991196
I only know about these things because stories like this are of interest to the group of people I deal with, not because it's part of my career. You probably wouldn't have much use for me.
>>
>>9991147
This one is going to be for you art anon, it also ties into the last topic.

>collectors of fine arts
How art can be used for being considered well cultured, make money, save money, and pay people in capital gains all at the same time.
People with lots of money obviously have to spend tons of money on art, that's how you become cultured.
Rich people love postmodern art. It's all of the rage.
Maybe you find a promising young artist, and one set or style of their art really interests you.
You buy all of their display, and pick up some of their older work, maybe you don't even spend more than a few hundred dollars for everything.
A good friend of yours is over and they ask you about which artist you have work from.
They also decide they like this artist and pick up some of it.
They have a business partner, and they are gifted artwork from your friend.
The gifted art goes up for auction and you buy it for a large sum, for some reason the anonymous bidding on it is very competitive.
Amazing luck for that friend of a friend, they also happened to hold onto it for a year so the sale is now capital gains.
A superior morality suddenly compels you to donate this artist's work from your collection to a charitable cause.
A set of respected professionals evaluate the artwork from your collection, discovering that art from this artist recently sold for a very large sum of money.
Valuation of the art exceeds your expectations, you gift it to charity anyways.
You make the charity sign a legally binding document stating their intent is to use the artwork to further the cause of the charity.
Lucky you, because you donated the art instead of selling it, the appreciation is never counted as capital gains for you, and instead the full amount can be put towards lowering your effective tax rate.
That's pretty great for something you only spent a few hundred dollars on, and the business partner of your friend can even deposit that money right into a bank or investment account.
>>
>>9991254
lol, thanks. I guess when I was younger i painted in oil and sold some paintings, thinking i was gonna try to make it big. I sometimes wish i was a cool bohemian painter selling my paintings but unless you're already in a position to be seen, digital is just more stable as a day to day income. It's morbidly interesting to read your insights, i knew some rich people used fine art for tax purposes but not really the details.
>>

>>
>>9991183
Please don't take my shitposts seriously as they're satire and entertainment for the thread.

The problem here would be our lolita, Rori, generating income from a business to about roughly half of her losses, but she includes various platform donations.
>intentionally running loss generating businesses
You know what the wealthy lolita, Rori, wants to drive?
Exotic vehicles.
You might ask yourself, how can Rori, as a lolita, reduce her tax burden by blaring jpop while driving a lambo to meetups?
Rori starts a media company for her social media presence.
Rori works out some way to get approved for the loan, and works out the transfer of the vehicle to her new business.
Rori puts a lolita themed vinyl wrap on her car, then watches the insurance rates on it skyrocket as it is now a company vehicle, and an exotic car.
Rori is okay though because losses from her business can be counted as losses on her income!
She slaps cameras on it and reserves the footage for her youtube videos.
She records herself as she rants endlessly about lolita while driving around in traffic and it now counts as work.
The depreciation of the vehicle can be counted, and losses on the eventual sale of the vehicle will count too.
Shopping for things and driving there in her lambo is now part of her work, even travelling to meetups around the world is now a business trip as long as she posts to social media!
Sadly, her lolita purchases could not be counted. Although, she deducts the costs of lolita prizes and giveaways related to promoting her content.
Her "lolita room" inside her home for recording the videos can be counted as an expense of running her business, including the decorations in it.
If businesses can use her to advertise their products, she might be able to convince others it isn't a scheme to create a favorable NOL for her income.
