Congratulations, you have bought a food truck!

Now what's on your menu and what type of customer base do you want to target?
>>
I'll sell a food truck and target low ambition entrepreneurs

meat pies, kebabs and burritos
park in front of the town's busiest pub or bar
make millions of $$$
win everything forever
>>
wings and fries, cheap and easy but cooked to perfection. I'll mostly sell to drunkards but also cater to the yuppies by switching up signs saying the chickens are cage-free and the fries are cooked in some sort of organic oil
>>
Hamburgers, hotdogs and Burritos. If I have some room left over I'd sell some cold ham, turkey and cheese sandwiches. Of course cold sodas, I'd have Coke, Sprite, Mountain Dew, Jarritos Orange Soda, Bottled Water and Brisk Iced Tea.

HSPs mate. Load up a big old HSP for a tenner out the front of a pub, and you will be laughing your way to the bank
>>

Your buisness will fail. Here's why...

While that's a lot safer than going to the fucking ghetto, it's not a good idea. Trailer park people get EBT, but they still work. All of them strange hours though. First thing on their mind when they wake up is getting to where they need to be. It'll be to their shit job or the methadone clinic. They don't have time to stop by and buy your shit sandwiches, they have to get gas in their cars so they can just buy a sandwich there. Plus, they wake up at the last second because they're hungover, so you can get a bite to eat and gas at 7-11 or wherever. There's not going to be a huge crowd and you'll have to hang around all fucking day to make money.

Your best bet is to find out where they work. If you can keep some third shift hours and roll up to their parking lot ready to sell some food during their lunch break you can make some bank. Forget the EBT shit, just accept cards. Better yet, find a military base. They allow food trucks to come on base. You can make some serious fucking cash, especially on a Naval base. You could get a fleet of trucks for young new sailors that still live on the ship and are tired of ship food. Fucking $7 burritos, they would pay for it. They don't have a car, a place to live, they rely on Navy cooks to cook shit food. They have a shit ton of money though, money that you could make selling food.
>>
Crepes ofc
>>
>>11323000
I'll expand on that. I was in the Navy, and in my first few years I was making money but lived on the ship. A junior sailor. I wasn't paying rent, I didn't have kids, and no fucking major bills. The military is constantly bringing in guys like that. Fresh out of high school dudes with a place to stay and money in their bank accounts. I don't know how the Army or anything else works, but new guys have to pretty much live in shit conditions.

So food truck rolls up, you have young guys with lots of money eating shitty food. When I was first in, I would have paid like $15 for a fucking burrito. Like I said, I don't have bills to pay like that and I'm tired of eating badly made rice and burnt chicken tenders.
>>
>>11323000
You dont know anything about food trucks or people on ebt. Most dont work they just live with some one who does and 7 dollars for a burrito at a food truck is almost mexican prices.
Ebt would proably work those same people go get papamurphys pizza its how it stays in buisness.
My local big buisnesss have food trucks that rotate boeing amazon and microsoft they charge thpse guys 10-20 bucks for food truck food and the lines are to long to even enjoy it durring lunch.

>Chicken paws and menudo
Messicans have big families and travel in large groups. I know what I'm doing.
>>
>>11323020
It has to be where you live then, because most people where I live that have EBT are junkies with jobs, but somehow get government assistance.

chinese roujiamo (rice bun burgers), with stewed and pulled meat and all sorts of toppings

target is yuppies and college types
>>
>>11323030
Hmm well i live in a very homeless friendly area most junkies are out and about at all times when they arnt in their tents cant go to gas stations or grocery stores with out being asked for a dollar in certain cities thank god for sanctuary cities am i right.
>>
>>11323035
I'm not sure if I'm talking to a different person or if we're arguing right now.

I live in bum-fuck Pennsylvania. The junkies we have are trailer park people. Nothing against trailer park people in general, but around here they are most likely crackheads or do heroin. They're harmless though, I did live with my mom in the city, and that was some rough fucking shit. But I moved out with my dad in the country and everyone has some sort of back problem and getting disability and foodstamps, and their cousin had the same problem. Both cheat the system, just one place was safer to live.

that's Scotland/British shit only though. Straya's all about the 3 things I listed. Meat pies, kebabs and maybe the odd burrito for someone too stoned or ethnic for one of the previous two.
>>
I'd like to try out a really high end menu. One main course item and a very very simple appy so I can focus more kitchen space and prep to the main. Ideally serving to an upscale clientele on the move, but realistically serving to hipsters who love the ironic hook.

Probably wouldn't be viable but as long as we are talking hypothetically

bottled water I can overcharge for
cans of soda I can overcharge for
and I only sell things that can be deep fried. Frenched fries, onion rings, tater tots, I don't know what else can be deep fried besides fish but that would ruin the taste of the oil for my customers. I like it, but they don't.
>>
Honestly, nuggets and tenders. But, not chicken.
Literally anything else, pork, seafood (real and imitatiion) beef, kangaroo. The possibility is end, ess.
Can you imagine, you see a screaming autist begging for their chicken nuggets and tenders.
But you smile to yourself as you bite down on your lobster tender, picking your way through some lamb nuggets.
You are home Anon. It is home

Paninis and Perogies, might also use huancaina sauce as a side. Could possibly do one big pot of chili per day to see if it sells. Bottled soda/water. I'd move around cities a lot and get booked at state fairs to keep up with the bills.

Wings and texmex. I'll park next to a massively overpriced sub-Taco Bell quality local fast food place that sells the same stuff.

slav food

>>11322778
Fries and sweet potato fries with a variety of sauces for topping or dipping.
>>
>>11322778
If I had to actually use it I'd go to construction sites and other job sites as a lunch catering service kind of deal and do hot sandwitches (including burgers and hotdogs) and fried foods.
I'd also sell beer for a "just got off work" special

I'd also offer cold sandwiches as well as the option to special order stuff in advanced like if your work want lasagna boom I got lasagna.

On off days I'd go into the city and sell everything an egg can make. Including the Egg Fort special and Omelet on a stick

live in a city with a huge slav population. we have virtually no slav restos at all.

Most slav food is too labour intensive. Tons of hand rolled or hand stuffed shit.
And any ethnic slav will just compare it to what babushkas food tastes like, and you will NEVER be able to beat someones babuska
>>
>>11323345
Hire an authentic babuska.
>>
>>11323356
some restos actually tried this. had a kitchen of old ladies pinching away at perogies. still didn't work because its not YOUR babushka using YOUR family recipe that ever slav will say is the "correct" way to prepare the dish.

I have a buddy who has an opportunity to run a food truck here in the states. In back of a bar. Gets to design the menu. He mentioned sushi burritos. This is clearly not the way to go. What's good for drunk people but still a bit upscale?
>>
>>11323366
Your excuse is "yah sorry man, its a food truck. Fits only one babuska" and drive off.

Build your own poutine.

Easy to serve, easy to make, normies love anything with cheese and meat.
>>
>>11323729
This. Just fry cheap shit, sell it cheap, undercut competition by flooding the market. Health food trends are a lie, all these office workers still want to eat shit.
>>
>>11323371
Good for drunk people
>burgers with 'different' toppings and fried sides, possibly covered in cheese and bacon
Slightly Upscale
>same thing but 'sliders'
>>
Park outside of one of the many factories around me, sell overpriced sandwiches to factory rats.
