Two main reasons you shouldn't are the canned soup and the fact that they don't temper the sour cream. Canned soup recipes always taste like cheap slop. You could just use extra mushrooms plus cream or more sour cream. And you can look at that photo and see that the sauce is broken and grainy because they didn't temper the sour cream before adding it.

Alright then just use that recipe but temper the sour cream. Once everything is about done cooking put your sour cream in a bowl and while stirring spoon in some of the hot sauce. Keep spooning and stirring until the sour cream is warm and then add it to the pan and simmer a bit longer.

Yeah it's a little thing that doesn't take much effort but it makes a big difference. Hope it turns out well.
