Reminds me of Christmastime porridge when I was sick last year. What are ya in for?

I've had the unfortunate opportunity to dine at a couple hospitals for multiple weeks over the last few years. Centennial in downtown Nashville I don't remember at all, being sedated for almost two weeks. Skyline, just north of Nashville, was actually not bad. I'd consider going to their cafeteria for lunch were I in the area. University of Louisville hospital was definitely a step down from Skyline but better than what OP pictured.

I've had a few stays at the hospital, the trick is to accidentally forget to order every meal, and instead get some ready made turkey sandwiches instead. At my hospital, they keep them refrigerated at the nurses station for just that, or if you sleep through meal time, or supposedly if you get hungry and just want a snack. Only meal I'd actually order is eggs in the morning with toast.

Last time I was in a hospital I was there for 18 hours and I got a small thing of apple sauce and an 8 oz bottle of water towards the end when I finally got them to notice I was there. If I ever break several ribs and a clavicle again I'm just going to take an uber home and get a bottle of whisky delivered and try to sleep it off

I think I ended up paying a couple thousand bucks for that and that was after insurance

I don't see an issue with it. It was new to you so you can reply all the same with your unique insights. That's all that matters
