What's your go to spam flavor?
>>
>>22054572
I've literally never had Spam in my entire 43 years of existence, so I am monitoring this thread. IS IT GOOD?
>>
Why are americans so disgusting?
>>
>>22054582
>IS IT GOOD?
It's a shelf stable brick of ham and it tastes exactly like that sounds. That is to say it's fine for what it is but most times you're better off with the bacon spam since it basically tastes the same but with less sodium. Maple is fine for breakfast, teriyaki is fine if you're into it same with jalapeno, lite is catfood, and I haven't tried turkey or hickory.

high intelligence levels and low rates of mental illness give us the confidence and level-headedness to admit that good things are good.
>>
Fried spam is nice. Grate it and eat with smoked peeled green chiles on crackers. Top tier snacking.

>he's not stocking up on and able to stomach shelf stable foods
Legit NGMI

I don't eat spam because I don't hate myself.

Fuck off with your marketing threads nigger.

Used to like the Jalapeño flavor but Spam now is too expensive for what it is. I filled my chest freezer full of actual ham when it was on sale the month before Easter for $0.85/lbs. Spam is over $4 for a 12oz can.
>>
>>22054572
Original is the best. Cooked until both sides of each slice are nice and crisp, served with sunny side eggs.
>>
>>22054582
It's like a brick shaped hot dog, but more rigid and gooey. The goo goes away with heat.
>>
>>22054637
yes but ham is not spam.

I have a blender.

Spam is probably more popular in the Philippines than in the US

It's good every once in a while. I like frying some up some of the bacon flavor SPAM and putting the slices on toast and drizzling them with maple syrup.
>>
>>22054813
how much does it actually taste like bacon? i imagine a strong bacon bit flavor
>>
The tocino one tastes pretty good. Wish I could have tried the black pepper one, sounded good but didn't realize it was limited.
>>
>>22054572
my parents bought me a huge sampler pack for Christmas a while back and it's legitimately one of my favorite gifts ever
they're all at least decent and a few of them are above average
I think my favorite was tocino

>high intelligence
Not even in the top twenty nations. America scores below Belarus and just about tied with Albania lol
>low rates of mental illness
Nearly half of all Americans have a lifelong mental health diagnosis (47%) lol
Compare that to Belgians (29%), Colombians (39%), Italians (18%) and Taiwanese (13%) lmao
>>22054780
Nobody likes mentally ill retards.

I buy the reduced sodium SPAM by the case. I don't eat it all that often but it lasts forever and ensures I always have something around to work as a base to throw something together. SPAM works great as the meat in Japanese curry.
>>
>>22054842
taste nothing like bacon, it's canned ham and it tastes like canned ham.
>>
Jalapeño, but they pulled it where I live. Such bullshit.

This kind of processed ham is popular pretty much everywhere in the world.
As long as it doesn't have weird additives, there is literally nothing wrong with it. It's just pieces of pork reshaped and pressure cooked or whatever.
>>
>>22054572
Low Sodium.
>>
>>22054582
In East Asia it is considered a delicacy because soldiers back in the war would leave tins of it behind and the locals would pick them up. The novel taste and the presence of --egad!-- salt was radical for their tastes.
>>
>>22054572
The chorizo spam is superb. Good luck finding it
>>
>>22054572
i do low-sodium, slice it various thicknesses, and let it brown on medium-low for a long time until it becomes crispy shingles
while waiting i eat about a quarter of the block, also various thickness, "raw"
the walmart generic version is even better for imitation bacon
>>
>>22054572
What's the diff between low sodium amd lite?
>>
>>22058022
I'll get 2lb shaved please.
>>
