Created by Mr. Lawrence of Rocko's Modern Life and SpongeBob fame, as well the voice of Filburt and Plankton respectively. This one is from 2012, but was uploaded this year.

Looks like something from 2005, not 2012.

I wish we could still get plenty of comedy cartoons with this much STYLE. Seems only SpongeBob and whatever new Looney Tunes iteration is currently running are the only ones allowed to do this type of stuff these days

eh, Diggs Tailwagger was a better pilot.
Zoot Rumpus might be the most obscure of all, though. That's not even lost media and yet I've never, ever seen anyone bring it up besides once like 5 years ago. Even Diggs Tailwagger I've seen get brought up every now and again.
>>
>>145566498
That was pretty good, I enjoyed it. Although I find it weird that a pilot wasn't centered around the premise of them fixing things.

annoying as shit.

I can see why Kumquat Kwadruplets didn't make it past the pilot stage. There were some fun gags here and there, but it suffers from the same issues you see in most pitches created by Sponge alumni: it doesn't always know when to tone things down, and most importantly, it lacks a strong hook. The premise and setting is somehow both too ridiculous AND too mundane.

I liked it for the most part tho. Mr. Lawrence still has my respect, and it was a treat to hear Eric Edelstein, he was great in this

That green cat stole the show, his stupid grins and oafish personality are endearing as hell. Also I could recognize Craig Kellman's character design from a mile away.

Too bad the pilot didn't get picked up, I'd love to see more but I guess by 2012 this style of cartoon was on its last legs.

I'd rather watch Handiquacks

Feels like a 2005 cartoon, Gravity Falls came out the same year as this mind you.

It's way too fast-paced for a 2000s cartoon. I don't think even spongebob or gravity falls had this much rapid-fire humor going on in 05. It definitely has that early sensory video thing going for it like a lot of 10s cartoons started having around that time.
>>
>>145566498
Terrible, Why does Nick always make I AM SILLY” type of cartoons?
>>
>>145580213
Because it's a channel for silly cartoons, it always has been. Don't like it? Go watch PBS for babies.
>>
>>145580430
Cope, they have no good storytelling or ongoing plotlines.

>or gravity falls had this much rapid-fire humor going on in 05
The Gravity Falls as we know it now didn't exist in 2005.
>>
>>145566498
This was slightly slower than Magiswords and I could hardly keep up
>>
>>145573241
Why the hell does Diggs have three seperate actors listed for him specifically in the credits?
>>
>>145568178
No, the zoomer is right. Spongebob/Patrick Show, Smiling Friends and Looney Tunes/any golden age style reboot are the only shows consistently able to do goofy stupid comedy now and it stinks. Where’s the original shows that pride themselves on being dumb over anything else?
>>
>>145580932
Makes sense. Mr. Lawrence worked on that too as a story editor/writer in season one and as the voice of Ralphio the sword seller.
