So why did they introduce her just to write her out? why do showrunners love introducing sibling characters just to erase them? Fairly OddParents & Gumball also did this crap too.

When she was made, Dexter's Lab wasn't meant to go on past Ego-Trip, so she wouldn't have mattered.

The real question is why did the Savino seasons choose to just ignore her existence. I imagine the answer is to put extra emphasis on the fact two hippies produced a creature of darkness as two creatures of darkness would make Mandark feel less special, but still.
>>
Because she was just a lamer knockoff of Mandark
>>
The VAs didn't want to keep saying her dumb name

worst excuse ever.

The only sibling I remember from FoP was Tootie and she wasn's a one-off

Chris Savino is also the one who storyboarded her episode.

That's the exact same question "Why is the character that appeared in one episode not a main character?". The answer's the same: they didn't like Lala enough to use her in more than one segment.

She was apparently just meant to be a joke one-off just so Deedee could have a rival, and nothing deep beyond that.

I agree.

Dexter's D&D Group wasn't important enough to get named. But they get re-used in a later episode for a Star Trek convention/parody. Not because I think anyone cared so much about the characters, but because half the work was already done.

Dexter's only recurring friend was Mordecai. He had at least three other friend groups, from the D&D episode, the convention episode and the funny accents episode.

Lalavava is a bit more of a glaring plothole because Mandark is established as an only child in the Savino seasons.

Those weren't the same characters.

To be fair a lot of characters got deleted but Tootie lasted for awhile after the retcon and Tommy is chilling Tibecuador.

in the pilot episodes Vicky mentioned having a little brother. and we hear him scream on the phone.
>>

Tootie was the result of Vicki's sissy hypnosis and estrogen pill forcefeeding of her little brother

Yes they are. Only the blond kid didn’t show up.

This whole continuity thing is a modern invention perpetuated by goyslop Steven universe and gravity falls. It’s so Star Wars thing.

Remember that episode of Billy and Mandy where they visit Father Time and Irwin straight up kills his brother and it’s never mentioned in the rest of the series?
>>
>>145722733
not a plothole if it's just a corrupted bastardization of a show without most of the people that made it what it was in the first place pulling shit out of its ass

She's ugly

Early Dexter was very loose on continuity, sometimes Dexter had friends at school, other times he was an autistic loner, DeeDee was both a nice sister and a sadistic psycho. Sometimes the family had a dog and sometimes it didn't
>>
>>145723385
I completely forgot about that.

Who is this?

They prolly just forgot or didn't think much of it idk

That poor dog left the show after the unaired episode DeeDee’s experiment.
