Knull/King in Black storyline is pretty stupid, but it is still infinitely better than where Symbiotes were left before. Knull is a symptom of trying to course correct and re-inject some semblance of cosmic horror after that hack Bendis completely ruined everything to do with Symbiotes. Because of that, I can't really bring myself to hate Knull as virulently as some do. I think his storyline in a void is pointless and serves to over explain Symbiotes, but it does that in a world where the other explanation they received was 10x more fucking retarded and Knull at least makes a modicum of effort aimed at unfucking them and I would argue it worked. Nobody outside of here and other communities with true diehards talks about the retarded green lantern galactic protector shit now. For better or worse he brought Symbiotes back to being weird cosmic horror monsters in the collective consciousness, just with a kind of lame leader.
Why the hell are all these unpopular stories from like two days ago getting priority over actually popular, influential shit from Marvel's history?At first I thought it was just for political correctness for shit like Lady Thor and Ironheart, but Knull isn't part of that at all, and this isn't even Disney
