The charcoal one was actually one of the ones I liked the most in s2. Or from caits perspective, good relations with Mel's city. At most I could see ambessa calling for cait to be punished. To be put in one of those dark dungeons Cait was talking about. Cause ambessa can't call for Cait's execution, that would likely incite piltover. They'd be furious in the way zaun is and sever all political cordial ties.Ambessa will declare war cause WE know she's there for hextech and weapons and isn't leaving without them. Killing the reigning leader of Noxus would GUARANTEE war, Cait knows this and as far as Cait knows, ambessa is only here on the account of her daughter being here. She has all the reason to believe that noxus respects piltover's sovereignty and would listen politically to a 'get the fuck out. go the fuck home' order whether by her or by a reinstated council after she's been punished. There's no reason Cait would believe a incapacitation would spur ambessa to raze the city.
