thoughts? They are dripping the spam hard. Can I make something that will actually be useful?
>resin>usefullol no. I use mine to make model tanks

>>2846010Thoughts? Maybe you should post in the 3d printing general and delete this? If you do that I'll give you my honest opinion.
>>2846028sorry, I tried. I'm retarded, if that makes a difference.
got rid of mine because it was messy as fuck and it stunk the fuck out of my bathroom and then my garage, even just with sitting with the cover on. I'll take nanoplastics and carbon fiber asbestos from an fdm any day over resin.
>>2846072Wait what the fuck we can delete posts? I've been here for 15 fucking years,
>>2846119You've been here 15 years and never noticed the delete button at the bottom of the page? Like happened with OP, it doesn't work half the time, but it's still there.>>2846079I like the idea of resin printing but all the chemicals are a turn off.
>>2846121>You've been here 15 years and never noticed the delete button at the bottom of the page?Anon I don't know what to say. I'm retarded. I didn't even know you could change the color of the board. Has this been a thing since Obama got elected?
>>2846072In that case I apologize. If you've never 3d printed before I'd suggest a cheaper, smaller non resin filament printer, you can make a ton of useful items and learn how to use the software without worrying about all the hookups resin brings (ventilation, storage and handling of resins etc.) If however you really want to make high detailed miniatures or other models then go for a resin printer, if I was going to buy one today, any cubic has a big community and is pretty popular which is a good sign. I haven't had a reason to go resin yet and I do quite a bit of printing on my creality c10s
>>2846010I own this model, it's good but I use it exclusively for printing minis. ABS like resin is surprisingly durable and not as brittle as typical resins, unless you need fine detail you'll be better with a FDL printer though
>>2846136>I didn't even know you could change the color of the board.Yes, that's been a thing since at least 2009.
>>2846010You can use 3d printers to print 3d printers. You only need to buy a handful of cheap components. The coolest one I saw printed sand and metal powder into a tray which you then put in a forge for sintering. The guy who made it printed a gear for his bike. You can also buy a cheap printer and then print out a better, higher resolution printer and repeat until you're satisfied.
