At the end of october I will have access to a hornet nest because then all the hornets will be dead. They don't reuse the nests in the next year. So what can I do with it? Structure is paper like or more like a cake because you easily karate chop it into two parts
>>2846132You can make a very good soup with this
Save it until next year then hide it somewhere as a prank. Few things elicit such primal fear as a stinging asshole nest.
>>2846197This.Bonus points if you put a speaker and a motor inside so its buzzing and shaking a little on command.
I like wasps. They keep the bad bugs away. Just leave the nest.

>>2846177The droppings and the smell next to the hive tell me otherwise>>2846197There is usually high activity around the nest like one hornet every 30s approaching even at night>>2846311They abandon the nest. Queen hides and builds another one next year and the workers die before winter. I don't know if wasps keep their nests clean like bees but if they don't this shit is a breading ground. If a queen decides to use the same spot they build next to the abandoned hive. The only use of an abandoned hive is that it actually keeps regular wasps away because they react to the structure. So keeping it does actually the opposite. Don't know about hornets though>>2846881you have homo thoughts, buzz
