Weekend Projects : tell me moar editionI just finished my first welding project made a stool out of and old bed frame
>>2846840now im making a murphy bed
>>2846840I'm making risers for some cabinet/shelving units in my storage room. The idea is to store stuff underneath them instead of tossing boxes up on top that nobody can see or reach. The bookshelves will go all the way to the ceiling where all the decorative crap that does not need to be accessed can live peacefully and unmolested.
>>2846859hell yeah anon sounds like a nice project for a weekend
>>2846840Not a big DIY project, but I am switching the house from cable to antenna with a Roku for the living room. I did the living room today, tomorrow are going to be the bedrooms.I kind of want to do something more hands on, though, just not sure what (I have tons of unfinished projects, though). I think I will make a storage rack for some of my finished hobby projects (specifically radio controlled ones), as things have gone out of hand, first I need to come up with a design for it (I know PVC is the easy solution, but I want integrated steps and for the storage racks to be modular and stackable. I want to use spruce, but I probably will just go with whatever the cheapest wood is (probably oak or pine). Because I am trying to budget accordingly, I think staining, then lacquering will be a cheaper solution than fiberglassing. Any input on this idea?

Your results will be proportional to your skill, which is something you earn and cannot buy or lie about, neither can a clever lie replace fruits of hard work.
>>2846898theres nothing like organizing and a cleaning up to get the ball rolling on those unfinshed projects >>2846901kek great idea>>2846902sex
>>2846902this thing can go into white rapids?
>>2849030Yes, and kindling will come out of the rapids
>>2846840>Weekend RepairThis was retarded. I have a Samsung range with two little red lights that show you if the cooktop is still hot. One of the red plastic lenses somehow got fucked up, not sure if it was a spot of hot grease or while the wife was cleaning. So I open it up and find the goofy module, Everybody wants $48 + shipping for what is essentially a tiny red LED. Tried ebay and they have some open box or used ones, still $15 + shipping, ended up paying like $28 for a 2pk just in case the other side breaks while cleaning.I was kinda pissed when I got this package, because it looks like it’s essentially $30 (or $50+ from Samsung) to replace that tiny red plastic lens.
>>2846840I know it's Wednesday, but I started making a laptop case out of some nice leather last weekend and just finished it last night. It definitely doesn't look professional but it isn't rubbish either. I saw a similar one on Etsy that had no closing mechanism that they wanted $160 for, so not bad for a couple hours and material I already hadJealous of you OP for welding. I'm building a new pop-top roof for an old caravan and have a new gasless mig welder to finish the 40mm box steel frame, but have no power outlet in the garage and it's been pissing down rain for the past week
