I want a weaving calculator that will tell me exactly how big a thing you came make with a given amount of yarn, accounting for warp vs weft. You can input the amount of yarn you have and maybe a minimum length or width and then you get a rectangle you can drag to adjust length vs width and figure out exactly what you can do.Instead I'm guessing and checking with calculators that will either tell you how much you can do (warp only) or how much yarn a given thing will take and it's a pain in the ass. I just want to buy a bunch of yarn and weave a blanket. (yeah technically a balanced weave is half and half, but it never quite works out that way in practice)I might just program one myself. The calculations are easy, it's just making the effort to turn them into something useful that I'd have to work up the motivation for.
