Yall cowards don't even shake hands with danger
>>2955900>factory built manbasket>clamped on fork>safety chainpussy osha shit is all i seereal men just use a rotten pallet
>>2955913Actually it was on sitting atop the forks and held on by the chain. The clamps were to keep it from sliding backwards and slacking the chain. Needed it flush with the fork tips so we didn't accidentally stab through anything since we had been day drinking again
>>2955900Is your name Joe?
>>2955900What kind of telehandler?
>>2955931Skytrak 5030
>>2955966Nice. Actually have a cobbled together man basket on my Lull telehandler right now. Was using it to pull down fucked up gutters off one of our haysheds. Really need to make a new steel walk through with a door bucket for my digger derrick/bucket truck. That climbing up and over the fiberglass bucket sucks.
keep up the good work, anonymous

>>2955900I have a gutted IBC tote for this.Howver, in 1 year of ownership I popped 2 hoses and i dont like my chances with that. It's also a hay loader on a tractor and not a proper forklift or a tele.
>>2956068Your chances are getting better with every hose you replace. My old man sent me up on a pallet sitting on top of some hay spears on a Farmhand F11 loader mounted on a Farmall M tricycle front tractor for years and years... Got a lot of stupid shit done and never had any incidents thankfully. Had my wife in the bucket of a 920 cat loader with a stihl pole saw trimming tree branches last year.
>>2955900>cagenigger ive been transported up to roofs standing on the forks lol
>>2956098if it was just a roof i would've ridden the forks, no big deal. we went a little extra because it was a 30' overhead grain bin we needed to repair the air exchange stacks on. I can take a ~10ft fall from a roof, 30ft is a different story
>>2955900>>2955975
>>2955913Did you stole my ladders too?
>>2955900listen here nigger I've ridden forks up to service ceiling oil burning heaters and I rode up there on a wooden pallet AND THEY LEFT ME UP THERE.I had to climb down the fucking telescoping lift beams to go home.
>>2955913Your chain rack looks a little overloaded there my guy...
>>2955900once i rode the bucket of an excavator to the top of a telephone pole to untangle a live wireit sure was horrifying, never again
>>2955900Kek.I've done some shit like that.My favorite was when I worked for a water-well outfit.I'd get into a climbing harness and have them haul my up with the puller-crane, carrying a chainsaw to deal with trees in the way.It was kinda fun being like 40 feet up swinging a chainsaw around.
>>2956422thats a serious rackmine above cane as a bunch of twisted trash roughly shaped like a pipe rack on a 720 datsun pickup i bought off the scrappies junk trailer for a hundo. the datsun was a good beater but is long gone now and its memory lives on every time i grab a chain
>>2956600Nice. Can't beat something that was virtually free and ready made. You the guy with the giant bench grinder?
>>2956693>You the guy with the giant bench grinder?>wink.gif
>>2955900Come at me bro
>>2956883I forked your mom.
>>2956049They call me one ball Sal - but she was worth it.
not enough heavy equipment shenanigans on /diy/
>>2959972the boss said they got the all clear from dig safe>the boss didn't actually get the all clear from digsafe
>>2959974He can't keep getting away with it.No really last time was like $15 million dollars how are we still in business
>>2957064You mum is so fat I don't have enough space to fork into
>>2955913damn, now this is some real danger hand-shakin', partner
>>2955913>be inna family run warehouse>half the workers are drunk by noon>two guys go up to fix some racking>grab the nearest pallet instead of the dedicated platform>pallet falls apart midair>young black kid plummets about thirty feet onto his abck>sixty year old guy left hanging off the forklift blade for dear life>drunk forklift operator runs off to get help>hear shouting from the office>lower mast to get old man to ground and call ambulance>kid is fucked up but owner agrees to pay him 40/hr to work five hours a salaried>year later kid gets fired on surprise drug testMonths later>see same drunk front lift driver flying around the back lot with the cleaning guy riding a pallet>told them a hundred times not to fucking do this>cleaning guys are all barely functioning drug addicts hired at crazy rates by the former drug addict production manager (who was fired for selling drugs to workers of our biggest customer)>hear shouting coming from outside from my office>go outside and see cleaning guy wiggling from underneath forklift>pallet broke apart mid travel and he got pulled under>drunk forklift driver helping pull him out>didn't put the brake on so it's slowly inching forward>thankfully cleaning guy gets out>completely unhurtThat's how I learned drug addicts are invincible until they overdose, which he did a few months after that. I don't work there anymore.
>>2956068>I popped 2 hosesI was using my Kubota ~15 miles from home clearing land. A hose broke and I almost didn't get back on the trailer before fluid was gone. When I got back home I took all hoses off and went to NAPA and had all new hoses made.Three years and no problems since.
