Oh right, I forgot about the proportions morph. You can fix it by throwing the 右ひじ's displacement in the proportions morph to "Bone.017" (the bone 右ひじ is parented to), and removing the the 右ひじ bone from the morph. The point is to have those two bones be in the same location since "Bone.017" cancels out the IK rotation by rotating it back the by the same amount. I could share the tweaked file but the fix is so small it'd probably be easier to do it yourself. Since the morph messes with the proportions, you could also probably add "Bone.021" to it copying the elbow's displacement, and then also add "Bone.016" and "Bone.006" - the IK target bones for the elbow IK and elbow unrotator IK (sorry for not naming them properly, I was lazy) - both with the sum of the "右手捩" and "右手首" displacements, to fix the IK targetting to the handle. If you need that. Want me to do the other arm and proper naming and stuff? Sorry if this solution isn't optimal but I really wasn't sure how to deal with the shoulder being included in the IK chain without either compromising correct twisting or making too many IK chains for each separate component like I did in my old arm rigs, resulting in tons of clicks. By the way, the shoulder has no IK limits I think, so if it lowers too much you might wanna play with the limits on it.

What exactly causes rigidbodies to set their position to 0x 0y 0z in Blender? This shit drives me nuts and it's absolutely not the first time I import a model, do some edits saving as I work on it, export and have physics go bonkers as soon as I load it. Go back to blender, check RB's and see 40+ of them clumped together. I don't understand. I didn't remotely touch them.

That's the thing, I find the skybox lighting is usually kinda weird so I turn it off, but I also find it hard to judge what looks good, or how to get there...

How the fuck did you make them without knowing how to manipulate vertices and weigh them to bones? Looking at the structure, they were definitely frankensteined together from different models created by someone else, but I don't see any authorship credits.
1. (Optional) Turn on Virtual Axis (A) and Wire+ display. Use Vertex/Masking (F3) with PRTS disabled to limit selectable vertices to relevant materials while still seeing your whole model. Alternatively, you could use face selection with Ctrl+X, Ctrl+K.
2. Select the panty vertex that clips through the dress and drag it inside. Virtual Axis will give you a convenient axis that is perpendicular to the surface of the mesh.
3. Select enough vertices around the area where the arm clips through the sleeve and drag them out perpendicularly to the arm's surface.

As for the weighting issue, make your ghetto proud and solve it yourself. I don't feel like you deserve any more help.

Bruh, don't beg for overpriced backnumber stuff when it's very easy to recreate yourself, especially if you use MMM or Blender. Looking at the video, it's just three basic mirrored loops with some interpolation that involve the center or groove bone going forward&up and back&down, neck & head bones rotating to compensate the rotation of torso bones, arms rotating forward or toward the center & wrist bones rotating to compensate, and the blink morph value changing up and down a little. You make a basic loop by first keying the starting position, then the end position, then you cut out the changed keys, register the unchanged state at the frame of the end position, move to the frame where the motion returns to the starting position, log the unchanged keys again, maintaining the selection, then jump back to the end position frame and paste the end position keys. I added some instructions to the description, but I wrote them mostly from memory so there might be issues. I didn't separate the bones because I figured they were all at the end anyway (not shuffled between the arm bones) so they're probably easy to excise. Wait, now that I think about it, the plain + bones (the ones that the three main bones inherit rotations from) might be shuffled in, because they existed before so they're in the bone list. Well, try it now and tell me if there's issues.
Also scratch that thing I said about the bones specifically not being on the same bone order causing issues. I mean, what you said is correct that general order issues cause glitching, it just really doesn't have to be the same _transform order_ like I said, just IN order. Well, that much is obvious, I just screwed up the order while testing because it's an imported model which had a set bone order already, so new bones were added last and that caused issues. I'm just used to the partial auto-sort mmd_tools has when there's no preset order (ie it's a new model).

Yeah, I'm starting to understand why few models have tanline options... it's a bitch to get weights right. Normally it doesn't matter if the skin vertex moves back and forth a bit too much/too little but the tanline is unforgiving.

I also noticed some cases of the skin clipping through panties in certain poses, not sure if it's worth adding a vertex or UV morph to fix it...

In your video it's not noticeable so I guess some creative camera angles are fine too.

If that is caused by a "spreading" vertex morph, you need to match the vertex morph offsets on clothing. If it's caused by a spreading bone morph, you need to match the weights on clothing. If there are SDEF weights on the ass, well, they're a real bitch to get right with meshes that are offset from the body, which is the main reason I removed them from both the butt and shoulders of my model last May.
Alternatively, you can simply create a vertex morph that moves the meshes apart as a crutch. Well, you've mentioned it already, but it's not a good practice to abuse. Yeah, it's that. It was like that in the original model (uses WAY more SDEF than any tutorial I've seen recommends), and when I adjusted the weights to fix >>2839648 (both on the body and the panties), it started clipping. Problem is, I think, that the panties mesh has different vertex resolution that doesn't align with the body mesh, and both are pretty low poly, so the deformations aren't in sync. I both were identical if would possibly work even with SDEF, maybe?

Anyway this is beyond my ability to fix if I don't want to spend another month or two on it... so

...this is what I'll do. Yeah, it's obviously a terrible hack, but maybe when I've learned more about actually making models I might be able to do it right.

It's not that hard in practice, what's hard is preventing cloth clipping around the middle of the rear—you can't just transfer vertex data in Blender and call it done unless you already have a flattened preset mesh without a butt crack to copy weights from. Alternatively, you can weigh the ass entirely to lower torso, maybe with ass jiggle weights thrown in, and only start leg weights below the buttocks. The HK base (e.g.: HK03_v01e) does something like that.

For whatever reason, it seems you cannot touch the IK target bone whether through direct manipulation with it visible, or through bone morphs. That really stumped me for like an hour. So I had to add a "tip parent bone" and add it to the IK chains with 0'd IK limits and manipulate that instead. I did the right arm first and just quickly copied to the left so if the left has issues, reference the right.

With this solution, the arm seems more prone to snapping away from the rig (MikuMikuMoving 1.2.9.2) when the Proportions morph is turned on, although it also happens in the previous version and/or without the morph. I thought my shoulder limits were to blame, but it happens in the same manner even without them. This does solve the snapping, but I've spotted another issue that appeared in RAR_e. Ironically, the left arm is the one that behaves, but with IK cancelers enabled the right arm does this when you activate the P morph:

I always thought despite a lack of evidence that it was just a global angle limit for the IK chain that could be overridden by enabling Limit Angle for individual links, but that was wrong, it's really a variable that is used in the solver's formula and impacts the calculation process as in this .webm.

Mirroring the left IK part fixed that regardless (and I've already incorporated it in the target model), but it's really funny that there is no user-readable difference between the original and mirrored files (aside from random miniscule differences in local axis/bone position values, which are just junk that doesn't impact anything); you can only see large chunks of differences if you compare the PMX files themselves, which suggests that it can carry unidentifiable data, presumably created in another software with broader functionality, that impacts the model's operation. Unless that's what these tiny differences in CSV translate to in the PMX format.

Precise floating point values actually fluctuate back and forth between saves (or, maybe, unsaved model edits too), and yeah, that's what I did with the regular arm bones when I got too annoyed. Any differences below 0.001 are unnoticeable anyway. As for the morph, I've only left neat, easily copied values—0.24 and 0.43—deleting the tiny Y&Z changes. Also changed Y -0.15 to -0.3 to match the grip position better.

Yeah, I did that because it was in the original rig but you left it out. I've used that bone in quite a few projects since 2021, including unfinished ones, as a local arm rotation parent (and then the rotation parent of IK arm+ after introducing the IKs). Thought of moving it back to where it was originally—after the regular shoulder bone—but there's no free spot there, and I'm reluctant to make the rig even more complicated.

You can either have a leg that works normally, with some physical weights thrown in (which will prevent you from using SDEF, which I still continue to consider the best bet for knees and ankles), or you can have dangling ragdoll sausages.

While you can do that very easily (mind the location of the pivot/bone for rotation), you will need to turn off collision with hands if you have hand rigids and prevent contact of the skirt-raising rigid with the hand, as either would have to go through the fabric. I do not advise parenting anything originating from one independent body part to another independent body part in any manner, it's a sure way to make a mess without disproportional effort to contain it. I also recommend creating an IK chain instead of a single rigid to make deformation more flexible. Furthermore, you need to always be very careful with active physics, as they are hard to tame.

Honestly, both. Having the rendering being on your own PC means you can also customize it or view it the way you want, at any resolution, maybe even view it in VR. I understand some creators would be opposed to that idea because it could mean that people rip their assets, but I think it's also an opportunity. The other option of a video format wouldn't be that bad. Actually it could be relatively easy for someone who has entry level knowledge of how to create formats. All it would need to do is detect differences between videos and make a cutout, so that when playing back, it is essentially overlaying the cutout difference on top of the base video. It seems PMXE is somehow really bad with SDEF weights, if I convert a bunch of vertices together it seems to pick the wrong SDEF coefficients (bad rotation center). Only vertices that are very close together can be SDEF'd in a way that the deformation works right.

Anyway, here's an updated version. I fixed most of the issues, tan line blotches are much less severe, as is the panty clipping. Strangely there's still some clipping in MMD even though playing the same motion in PXME doesn't show anything. No idea how to fix that yet...

I briefly checked 1 of the models in Blender and they seem to be mostly fine.
For a good start, you can set import scale to 1000 and use "Automatic Bone Orientation".
Maybe check the "Ignore Leaf Bones" if you don't want her to pose on import. (Can be fixed by resetting orientation in Pose Mode)

It's probably not very good of an advice but for my recent first attempt I went to literally first youtube search result (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2a0cQn2hlnE) and parroted each step when making the head. The modeler does VRC but the basics are identical, a mesh is a mesh. I'm happy with what I learned, I'm happy with the head I made, and I think the format works because you can always replay the section you don't get, or even play it in slowmo.

Very easily in MikuMikuMoving. You just gotta select the keys, cut them out, and use the Paste Other Bone function on the Edit tab. In combination with Multiply, you can even use this method to split rotation and position change. Since iwara is both bitrate limited depending on resolution, as well as total filesize limited, it matters a lot what framerate and resolution you plan to upload.

Although saying that I have yet to manage encoding a video in a way that iwara would skip its own reencoding... despite ostensibly staying within all their published limits.

So maybe just go for maximum bitrate that fits within the allowed filesize, i.e. a two-pass encode. Then at least the iwara reencode might hurt quality the least.

Nice, I didn't know you could that. That eliminates the need for a separate vertex morph. Should also work for the bikini (and swimsuit although I haven't noticed any clipping with it).

Thanks for testing! I fixed that particular issue since then, it was another SDEF coefficient problem, although re-SDEF'ing everything turned out to be a mistake, since now her thighs deform in a weird way sometimes... I swear, I'll get to the bottom of the SDEF black magic at some point.

Anyway, I hope you didn't get too attached to the placeholder pink underwear texture because I've replaced it with light blue from the swimsuit... but you can always replace the UV_underwear file I guess.

Subsurface\lampshade, although regular cloth works just fine for picrel shirt. Keep in mind Ray-MMD can't into overlapping semi-transparent objects and is not on very good terms with semi-transparency in general. [In MikuMikuMoving for sure, in MMD it might differ.]

yeah that's one of the most annoying limitations, like for face textures and overlays with alpha (like textured blushing)

i downloaded a 15 second long looping sex motion. i need to manipulate the limbs to deal with the clipping issue. the problem is that i cant just rotate the limb on frame 0, i would have to copy and paste the position into every keyframe it appears. each loop lasts 15 frames, and each loop has 5 keyframes. between the male and female models, i would have to manipulate 6 limbs. realistically i could just fix each limb's first loop, then copy and paste for the length of the motion. not a huge deal, although kind of a pain.

there is the setup, now the tldr. is there an easier way to do this? multiply bone frame angle maybe? ive never used that and i dont know what it does, but it sounds like what i need

In some cases you can apply global rotation/position offsets, this is more reliable with center bones and IKs but may not work well with FK limbs and torso in contracting/stretching loops or penetrating motions with different proportions (e.g. adapting a Daiki motion to a Sin Sack), in which case you'll have to choose between switching to IK or manual adjustment with repeated copy-pasting. (E.g.: blowjob with hands on the male's torso.) Make sure the keys to be replaced are identical. A double- or triple-click mouse comes in handy for adapting reciprocating sex movements. Multiplying values can be an easier method, but it will take a bit of trial and error.

You can also use motion layers in MMM and different bones that affect limb rotation.

That's what the root bone (全ての親) is for. Delete unnecessary (unused) keys. If the motion author is a retard and used this bone to actually adjust positions mid-motion, there will be some more work to do. In MMM, you can also use motion layers. If you load several motions in sequence, you will need to save the state of all bones and morphs that change in the next motion at the end of the previous one with the next motion unloaded. (I normally load a motion and select its keys -> Ctrl+X -> register all unregistered keys -> jump to previous key -> register all -> jump back to next key -> Ctrl+V.)
