Do Americans really dress like this?This really struck me, because this isn't a uniform. They didn't coordinate on this. Two grown men just turned up to a video shoot wearing black t-shirts and cargo shorts of their own volition. At that point, I have to ask, is this a cultural thing? Do they think they are wearing clothes? When they dream, do they see themselves wearing t-shirts and cargo shorts?

Yeah, unfortunately. I think there’s a counterproductive culture in America where parents either never show their kids how they should dress or there’s a sort of disdain for dressing nicer because it’s gay or elitist.

If you like cargo shorts and graphic tee's, then wear them. Just be mindful of the kinds you wear and scale it a certain way if you're self-conscious.
