What are your favorite tees?
>>
I like Uniqlo U t-shirts
>>
>>18266502
all brands suck ass, especially when it comes to tees, it's just a big fast fashion scam. just grab 7 for a weekly rotation and be sure it has the material you find comfy. if you paid more than 20 bucks on one you fucked up, instead use that money for clothes that actually need it, jacket, shoes etc
>>
>>18266525
This. No matter how much money or what brand you choose, they'll just tear the same year. T-shirts are like work gloves (except leather), you just replace them as soon as they break, which they will.
>>
>>18266527
what kind of shit t-shirts are you buying? or are you doing slave labor in them? i have plenty of tshirts i've been wearing for years and they still look good.

stop buying sweat shop garbage lmao.
i have some tees getting close to 20 years old. your tees fall apart fast because the collar ribbing is cheap, the collar is sewn on cheaply (making it stretch and wrinkle in the wash) and the fibers in the cheap cotton your tees are made with is half the length of the stuff in my tees so your fabric gets shitty from the wash and mine doesn't.
you can get high quality tees from chink amerikaji brands for 8-12 dollars each on taobao price isn't an excuse just lack of knowledge.

bob dong are 9 dollars each on taobao and come in 13 different colors.
you can't use price as an excuse for wearing shitty tees.

what's a thin yet durable shirt? 250+g is hell in southern Europe summer
>>
Take the merino pill. I've had the same handful of smartwool 150g tees for years and they still feel amazing and look great. Dark color tees last longer as well
>>
Again I have to say this and you won't listen. Camber USA.
>>
>>18266725
Which ones? The 6 oz. or the 8 oz.?

>>18266698
Merino wool is too expensive to buy only merino wool t-shirts.
>>
>>18266748
>6oz or 8oz

Do you have to ask?
>>
>>18266698
they don't hold up very long and i don't like how they drape. i wear them hiking.

i wear uniqlo supima slim tees a lot in the summer they're around 6oz
>>
What brand has blanks w/ a thinner collar? 2012-2015 the thinner softer relaxed collar was p popular.

atm everything has high up big ribbed collars and/or boxy sleeves

>The Strike Gold
>Buzz Rickson
I recently just bought a Strike Gold loopwheeled tshirt this week. I was actually blown away at how nice the collar is (triple stitched), the overall knit, as well as the fit. In terms of fit however, the Buzz Rickson plain white tees have the universally best cut.

All this said, the "best" t shirt is really subjective. Although we can argue that this should be determined by construction quality of the garment, the biggest factor to consider is the cut of the tshirt and how well its going to fit you. T shirts are actually WAY harder to fit individual people compared to a pair of jeans. You can put most people into a pair of mid/high rise 501 repro jeans and they will all look good. The fit of a t shirt however is going to be limited by a lot more. Although you may really like the fabric and construction details of a nice $90-100 tshirt, at the end of the day the best shirt for you should be determined by the cut. I regularly talk to the sales reps at Self Edge and they recently told me that there have been SO MANY dudes who had to return their Merz B Schwanen 215 t shirts because they didn't fit them nearly as good as Jeremy Allen White. It is for sure a very nice t shirt, but the cut on that t shirt really misses the mark on the majority of dudes.

>Merino wool is too expensive
If I'm going to throw on a shirt for a short period of time I use Goodwill whatever shirts
>>18266759

Are you putting them in the dryer? I put nothing ever in the dryer.

I have a hard time wearing cotton shirts all day since taking the merino pill

ye and none of this stuff is considered "counterfeit" so its all unaffected by the pandabuy china government situation other than shipping rates.
fwiw bob dong's shirting in general is nice ime. i have the same kind of physique as asian guys though ymmv ofc. you could swap the buttons on their henleys with something nicer and trick me into thinking they're $200.
>>
>>18266551
How to access it in english?
>>

chrome based browser with google translate.

This seems crazy to me.

The Bob Dong stuff on Tao Bao is like 10.00 USD? Am I not doing this correctly? I see the same shirts for 25.00 USD other places.

You guys fail to realize that some people, obviously not yourselves, have so much money that they don't need to allocate t-shirt money to something else. That shit reeks of poverty, like you either have to eat well or pay the electricity for the month. People who have money aren't thinking "boy I could use this shit for a better jacket" because they already have the money for the jacket they want.
>>
uniqlo u tshirts are rough af
la apperal are softer compared to uniqlo
>>
>>18268184
yeah but keep in mind that shipping is expensive, you have to buy in bulk
>>
Merino feels gay and uncomfortable wearing it and also it looks gay, idk everything I got that's merino just kinda hugs my body in a very gay way
>>
>>18268184
Don’t forget you’ll have to hire a mossad agent to import your $10 shirt. His services cost $30 (without tip) and that doesn’t cover shipping
>>

>how you represent yourself to the world
delusional faggot. No one cares about fashion anymore. No one is gonna think you're rich or successful if you wear fancy clothes
>>
>>18268538
You're the fucking pajeet who watches "old money" TikToks and wears Ralph Lauren quarter zip pullovers even though you work a data entry job while actual wealthy chads just wear some shit from pacsun
