>>18312100Very cool
>>18312100Looks goofy, and most of it is designed for people with a smaller frame

>>18312100When is that book from? It says "black suits are worn only for weddings or funerals" but I've been to Japan several times over the last ~15 years and they're ubiquitous on salarymen (and not just job interview seekers, before somebody says it). I went to Japan for work in 2017, was working at a Japanese company but mostly in the US, and was treated as somewhat edgy by Japanese colleagues because I wore my normal navy and tan suits from the US.

>>18315129Navy isn't really on that level, you do see a decent number of office workers wearing them, but I guess you're basically seen as trying to be cool and different when you wear one. Tan might be more Yakuza, now that I think about it I never wore mine in Japan but my boss did make some comments when he saw me wearing it in the US.
Japanese fashion is cool but not on you.

>What are your thoughts on japanese fashion?only shit that fits me because i'm short. works out great -- best price to quality ratio in the world and their currency is weak against the dollar.
The Japanese just put way more thought into how they present themselves than westerners. I was just in Tokyo and the average person there dressed far better than people in other fashionable cities like NYC or Paris. Regardless of whether they were just dressed in a suit for work or in some kind of quirky hipster outfit, they just did it far better.
