Should I take Vitamin D?

What supplements is fit taking?
>>
Just tan and get that D and bronze all in one.

>cheatatine
>l-arganine
>caffeine
>benzos
>>
Vitamin D3
Mucuna pruriens
Ashwagandha
Vitamin E
Chelated zinc
Cod liver oil
Vitamin B6
Tumeric and black pepper (cooked in coconut oil)
Chillis - either cayenne pepper, fresh chillis or dried.

Erryday mayne
>>
vitamin d3 20000 iu every second day
whey 30g in the morning

right before I workout this:
beta alanine 5g~
l-arganine 5g~
citruline malat 5g~
taurin 5g~
>>
>>44333288
Oh yeh and citrulline malate and vitamin C

desu whe I write it all out it seems like a lot.
>>
>>44333288
Tell me about Ashwagandha. I thought about trying it out. What effects does it have on you?
>>
>>44333252
Do fucking blood work if you're not sure. It costs like 20$ for 25(OH)D Total
>>
>>44333307
Def does something. Been on a cut the last 3 months and barely lost any strength. Actually got stronger on some exercises.
Mad erections in the middle of the night/ morning.

I haven't tested myseld but I feel like test levels were higher after a few weeks taking it. HArd to know if it was the other stuff too though.
>>
>>44333304
>20000 iu
>Twenty Thousan International Units

Holy shit man, are you a 500lbs strongman living in perpetual night?
>>
>eat my own loads for test boost
>>
>multivitamin
Just to round out my micronutrients in case my diet misses something
>d3
Because I'm white and it is winter
>PWO
Off this rn, but when I bulk I found one that works really well and probably shouldn't be legal.
>Creatine
Because I hate my hair and it works. I cycle on it for bulking.
>Magnesium/Zinc
ZM without the A. Likely don't NEED the magnesium, but every guy should be supping zinc.
>4g fish oil
Mostly for joint health since I don't have enough seafood in my diet normally.
>>
>>44333304
10k per day is fine, its 20k every second day.
>>
>>44333288
how's this boner stak working out for you?
>>
I take a double dose of vitamin D3 because I work nights and I think lack of sun fucks with my mood.
I take B3 and a mixed B forte because I used to drink like a fish and am worried about deficiency.
Chew a few vit C a day if I feel like it.
Take magnesium because I get foot cramps.
And I take fish oil.
This + whey and creatine
>>
>>44333370
> multivitamin
garbage tier. Don't bother desu.

>D3
>white in winter
Blacks and browns are prone to vitamin D deficiency in winter not whites. But still take it.

>PWO
>wat dis?

>zinc
make sure its chelated zinc. Zinc oxide or sulfate is trash.
>>
>>44333370
>ZM without the A
You realise the "A" is just the name of the compound the zinc and magnesium are delivered in?
A as in Aspartate, from aspartic acid. Magnesium and Zinc bondend with a non-essential aminoacid to increase the uptake.
>>
>>44333397
sick gainz tbhfam
>>
>>44333412
I can't be bothered to count macros. Multis are cheap af and will fill in anything I miss.

PWO is preworkout, I take Mr. Hyde. Anyone that is on the whole "hurr I just have caffeine bro" hasn't had a PWO with a decent stim stack.

>make sure its chelated zinc. Zinc oxide or sulfate is trash.
Yeah I got chelated. Would have rather had orotate, but it is hard to find and usually expensive.

My dumb ass unfortunately got magnesium oxide instead of citrate though.
>>
>>44333485
*micros not macros
>>
fish oil
Cla
Probiotic
Animal pak
Creatine hcl
Pre-workout
Whey concentrate
>>
>>44333485
>cheap as fuck
the reason they're cheap is because they don't do shit.

Eat your vegetables, don't buy anything else, it's all memes and marketing.
>>
>>44333590
You have my interest. Elaborate.
>>
>>44333252
Keep it simple stupid.
>Vitamin D
>Magnesium
>Probiotic

Easy
>>
>>44333643
I think probiotics are soccer mom-tier memes
>>
>>44333623
With most supps there are different forms that they come in. Typically a cheap (and ineffective form) and a not cheap (but effective) form.

e.g. multivitamins will use zinc oxide cos it's cheap. But it can't be absorbed properly.

Chelated zinc is much more expensive but is way more effective.

The other issue is that if you think how small a multivitamin is they're not big enough to accomodate decent doses of high quality vitamins and minerals. My chelated zinc pills alone are the size of a multivit. So your average multivitamin just has low doses of loads of poor quality versions of vitamins and minerals.
>>
>>44333576
Take animal pak and PWO out of that list. How much EPA/DPA are you actually getting in your fish oil.
>>
>>44333307
Get KSM-66 its a more potent extract of Ashwa
>>
>>44333412
What about zinc picolinate?
>>
>>44333694
>KSM-66
I believe that is chelated so it's all good yeh,
>>
>>44333653
Just eat greek or middle eastern yogurt youl get probiotics from that. None of the bullshit sugar yogurt, the real stuff.
>>
>>44333660

I take Orange Triad, it seems highly praised. What are your thoughts on it?
>>
>>44333702
oops. Greentexted the wrong shit. Zinc picolinate is chelated I believe.
>>
>>44333660
What if you find a multi that has good forms of the micros in it? Like magnesium citrate and cholecalciferol instead of magnesium oxide and d2?
>>
>>44333719
Then it's probably good as long as the doses are high enough. Ignore the RDA dose, google the optimal dose for each. All I know is that the average multivits I see in the supermarket are pointless.
>>
>>44333709
That actually looks pretty good. But just remember that when it says '150%' DV that's 150% of the bare minimum u need to stay alive not 150% the optimal dose

I had eczema on my arms for 10 years, I took probiotics and for 3 months I didn't feel a single itch. I was nearly in tears. This is from someone who has tried EVERYTHING. Every cream, countless dermatologists, I took probiotics and it helped so much. Over the Christmas holidays I got lazy and stopped taking them for a week and it flared up massively. Just my 2 cents.
>>
what's a good company to buy fish oil from? I've heard some of em pump out shit.

Great to know. Fellow eczema survivor here. Stopped getting rashes in my teens but the itching is still there. Is there a cure to the itching or is it gonna be a lifelong suffering?

IIRC correctly it reduces cortisol which would then increase test, same as meditation

Depends where you live. If you are in Finnland with no sunlight go for 10K for two weeks and 5K a day after that. In summer 2K should be sufficient if you are in contact with sunlight every day for 15 minutes.
