Is it okay to just do more sets of a single exercise? Let's say you do 12 sets of compound push exercises per week and you go to the gym 2 times a week: you do 6 sets of bench press on Monday, and then 6 sets of shoulder press on Thursday. Is that bad? I'm not chasing numbers.
