Why don't gyms have analog pace clocks to count rest periods any more? You used to be able to look up to wall, see where the seconds hand is, wait until it does an arc, then start your set.

>>75468047Good idea but would be drowned out by shitty remixed pop music and even in hardcore basement gyms it would be drowned out by yells and metal clanking

>>75468515The analog clock makes it easy to time any rest period. Look up when you finish your last set, see where the seconds hand is, time your next set based on where the seconds hand arrives to your chosen timing. The analog clock gives a good sense of how much time is left based on the area yet to be swept. Swimmers use them all the time for lap pacing. Old gym used to have them on every wall.
Speak to the gym owner about this. Tell him about analog clocks superiority.
