At what point do you start to get notice by a lot of people, especially younger people, from lifting heavy? Benching 3 plates+ for reps is rare, but pretty common. I imagine shit starts to change once you're benching 4 plates+ for reps, along with squatting 5 plates+ and deadlifting 6 plates+. I'm already stronger than pretty much everybody I see at the gym. Those roids I started taking 11 weeks ago have really made a difference. I mostly work out at my home gym now, though. I'm 24, by the way.

So which is it retard?

Anyway to answer your question it never happens, but pretty soon.
>>
>>75471410
I still have a bit of body dysmorphia, but when I see somebody I might think is actually bigger than me lifting less than me, I get a boost in confidence. There are plenty of guys out there who either commonly skip leg day or train legs with very low intensity. My squat weight is still going up rapidly, but on my previous workout, I likely could've hit 405 for 8 if I went to failure. Meanwhile, this taller guy whose upper body muscles appear just a bit smaller than mine was only squatting 315 for reps.
>>
I remember noticing people watching me OHP in the mirror once I started lifting 1pl8+.
>>
>>75471465
I could potentially OHP 225 as a max. I don't train OHP, but as a general rule of thumb, your OHP is going to be around 60% of your bench. If you train both, then it should be closer to 70%. This is what I was told on another thread I started over this very topic. I can bench 300 for 8, so my one rep max should theoretically be around 375, but I know I wouldn't be able to hit that, since I do less reps with heavier weights than expected for a 375 max.
>>
>>75471354
Why you start doing steroids because nobody here knows how to lift? I saw one form discussion thread and I'm pretty sure they're still high from yesterday.
>>
>>75471465
Yea no. Literally nobody gives a fuck if you are overhead pressing 135. Maybe there are wondering why that sperg is trying to randomly make eye contact with them. A 1 plate ohp is like a 205 bench, you really think people are mirin you if you cant even bench 2 plates?
>>
>>75471501
So you're looking at the other person with the side of your eye or you're literally just looking at them and you don't feel weird? Then when they notice it you like posture up or something what the fuck is that I would annihilate you.
>>
>>75471354
nobody cares. Whenever I see a roid tranny im reminded of real trannys on my facebook feed who posts stupid shit.
>>
>>75471354
I saw you on r9k trying to figure out how to name this file for your spank bank. Faggot.
>>

>roid tranny
I bet your idea of a roid tranny is an actual natty lifter with some muscle. I'm extremely surprised by how far my strength and muscle mass has excelled from just 11 weeks of steroid usage. 11 weeks ago, I was benching 245 for 4. I can now bench 300 for 8. I was squatting 315 for 4. I can now squat 405 for 5. (I'm going to squat 415 for 5 next time.) My 1RM deadlift was likely around 435. I can now deadlift 500, and my 1RM deadlift is likely 550. ALL IN ELEVEN WEEKS.
>>75471516
yes
>>
>>75471501
Over head press isn’t for anyone but you. it’s a primal and beautiful thing, yet lost on most. Like the stars on modern nights or looking back at your shit after a good dump. It’s not a lift for the unexamined life. You do it so that you know in your heart of hearts that you can monkey smash anything and everything at will. It may be selfish, but who cares, you’re basically King Kong, and no one can take that away from you.
>>
>>75471516
thank you for the intel
>>
>>75471354
oldhead lifter here. Back in the 80's-90's if you could bench 300 as a natty that was pretty fuckin sick. I think for an average commercial gym then puttin up 3 wheels for reps is solid. probably 4 for squat and 5 for deadlift as well. If your goals are to have everyone stop and stare at you then add 1.5-2 plates to those, but that's exceedingly difficult for most lifterbros to achieve
>>
>>75471616
Thanks. I think I can actually make it this far.
>>
>>75471531
Go harder on the bulk not the juice or your tendons are gonna snap before a muscle tear doing that much more weight in that time especially low reps that's why bodybuilders don't powerlift.
>>75471565
>>75471656
4pl8s topset for any

Is someone having a psychosis in this thread? What is going on?
>>75471565
Bro your just putting a bar over your head, its not that deep.

In my gym no one seriously tries to squat, and when I do my 3lmaopl8s squats I always see girls in the mirror watching me.
Once, when leaving, one of them pointed at me and told a friend "it's him".
Feels good I guess.
>>

>Benching 3 plates+ for reps is rare

I've been going to the gym for 3 years and I've never seen that. Most I've seen is 315 for 1-3. According to a study, 0.0002% of the male population can bench 405, you're way way way more likely to meet someone struck by lightning than meeting someone that benches 405 in a random lineup (ofc if you frequent places where powerlifters are more common like gyms etc... then chances go way up)
>>
>>75471354
Just remember you'll lose strength & size gains once you hop off, so its best to permanently cruise from here on in til you ack.
>>
.. so you're not lifting for your oshi?
>>
>>75471494
Take some like 4-6wk periods where you lower the dose to recover your tendons and not worry about keeping the muscle packing on because you're gonna be deep into cns fatigue chasing prs year round.
>>
>>75473408
I finished my deload for my upper body three weeks ago. I haven't been training my legs hard enough to warrant a deload for them.
>>
>>75471354
As soon as people can connect the dots that you're a roider they lose all respect and couldn't give a duck how much you lift or what you look like.
"Well duh, he roids" is the mentality.
Having said that, if you don't care what people think, keep roiding like a fag.
>>
>>75473557
>As soon as people can connect the dots that you're a roider
How would they do that unless I make stupid comments?
>>
>>75473601
If you roid and think that you blend in with Natty's, you might be blind or retarded.
>>
>>75473637
Maybe once I start benching 405 and squatting 500 for reps.
>>
>>75473637
The muscle just looks so different as to where they're benching fuckin 315 looking like they hit 10 sets of 20 every other day.
>>
>>75473669
And then it gets to that you're having to take a considerable amount of steroids or are dealing with frequency of doses causing spikes and dips unless you're on a heart exploding amount(good responder) it's like dude you did not start using muscle drugs because you were content with your fitness position in life.
>>
I'm a pretty scrawny guy and my fav lift is OHP
>do OHP in a rack
>build up to lmao1pl8
>tall lady gets to the rack beside mine to do squats
>she watches me do 5 reps of 1pl8
>jaw drops
>awkwardly smile at her and then sit down at a bench nearby to read manga
>didn't pursue cuz i was gymming overseas on vacation
>>
>>75473676
>considerable amount of steroids
And naturals who earned it can drink a lot and not destroy their test and liver. Your piss turns foamy if you drink a lot or eat a lot of protein and your liver is basically always a certain amount toxic when using certain/any steroids. Mine fuckin regenerates and shit compared to your pitiful woman liver.
>>
>>75471354
probably at the 1/2/3/4 meme mark
>>
>>75473710
>And naturals who earned it can drink a lot and not destroy their test and liver.
Drinking destroys both of those things. If you're not doing oral steroids, drinking actually isn't as bad when you're enhanced, even though it's still incredible stupid. Alcohol kills your test production and wreaks havoc on your immune system. Your liver is a very strong organ, though, so if you give it some time, it will fix itself up.

495lbs squats for reps

The way he squats is simply retarded. Very little stimulation for the adductors, and maximal knee pain. It's also uncomfortable to squat with a belt when your feet are too close together.

stopped reading there
>>
>>75473820
It's true. There's more friction against your skin from the belt when your feet are close together.
>>
>>75473768
Yeah I dont get that drunk even if I drink a lot and when I lift and eat right I put on considerable muscle. My alcohol tolerance went up insanely because I've been getting liver gains and now I can put on more muscle than before because my liver is working as hard as you are to pull the miles of shit from your ass to be able to explain to me why I'm wrong because of a study from people who I could best the shit out of all at the same time.
>>
>>75473827
Alcohol tolerance isn't from your liver. There are no liver gains. Your brain will just get better at mitigating the psychoactive effects of alcohol, just like it does with almost any other drug.
>>
>>75473827
If you don't go to bed drunk(I metabolize at least 6 regular beers an hour) it doesn't fuck recovery, during the day protein synthesis is based on how drunk you are and also I eat a lot while drinking so it's less bad for you and you know I'm right.
>bad for you
>gaining fat ew
Like seriously you are absolutely fucked in your fitness mindset.
>>
>>75473834
I forgot I gained a lot of muscle since I tested it but I'm not an alcohol junkie I don't think it's gonna fuck me up that bad but the question is if there are any performance or long term gains to be had from it at all and I do not want to hear what a bunch of gaylords who know I could beat their ass have to say about it.
>>
>>75471354
11 weeks dude you fucked your shit hard but not enough to never go natty. It's probably mostly the initial I'm fucked and stop lifting retards that look like that.
>>
>>75473854
That shit puts stress on your whole body and weakens all your organs. It's considered by many researchers to be the worst recreational drug, being the most dangerous for the user and those around the user, and yet, it's the only one that's widely socially accepted and legal.
>>
>>75473861
Helps me get into the zone to lift more heavy sets and I just feel like I wanna do it more. It lowers your blood pressure over time because 2 shots of liquor for me is like maybe 3 fat sips of liquor for some retard reading fitness shit while spending like 5hrs a week on it.
>>
>>75473871
Beer also gonna hit the muscles before bread and shit I wake up and drink 2 before even thinking about lifting if I'm gonna be serious about lifting that day.
>>
>>75473871
>Helps me get into the zone to lift more heavy sets
You're not going to be lifting as heavy and your form will suck ass. You're just coming up with excuses for your drug addiction.

My muscles fail none of it is mental there is no too tired when youre fucked up and have a goal if anything you're gonna hit a pr. Should have eaten before so it metabolizes quicker.
>>
>>75473874
I have been drinking less heavily but more frequently and I have gotten better gains than ever without even dieting well lately at least in terms of size if that is a testament to protein synthesis to drunk ratio.
>>
>>75473874
Never had withdrawals or the need to drink, I just forget to some days especially if I'm beat.
>>
>>75473913
If alcohol does have drawbacks for gains it must do something else to help them, like providing energy for some shit. *shrug*
