After fucking around with a broomstick it appears I have been squatting wrong all the way to nearly 4pl8.Flats, low bar, wider stance and sitting down into my hips vs hinging forward with weightlifting shoes. I was never a sharter but it always felt inconsistent. I will have to see how it feels with actual weight but the mechanics of it is sounder than a large lever arm from the hips to the bar.
