Are hamburgers good for me or is it slop?

the Platonic ideal of a hamburger is among the best foods ever eaten on Earth
the hamburger that you can buy is poison
>>
>>76820841
It depends.
>>
homemade are automatically better than anything sold at a fast food joint, in every possible metric

There’s nothing wrong with hamburgers. Almost every culture on earth has some version of meat inside of a carb as their signature dish. British pies, German sausages in a bun, Mexican tacos, Japanese sushi, etc. It’s literally just a red meat sandwich.
When it comes to fast food, it’s the extra calories from the sauces, soda, and fries that get you. Burgers themselves are fine.

Very good for you. I'd recommend steak burgers though when available. They're leaner is all. Just skip out on the high calorie toppings like mayo and add some vegetables for normal burgers and you're honestly good
>>
Sometimes I get a strong craving for a microwave hamburger

i bought a burger press recently and have been making smash burgers on my cast iron at home.
shits fucking bomb man, so easy to make too, you get two double burgers in like 5 minutes.

>made in a fast food place
Slop. Actual poison.
>made by some old granny at a family ran burger place that only exist in that one single spot
Tasty and good for you.

Never heard of those.
Usually I'd just press them against my pan with some cheese! Learnt it from making them with my mom when I was little

I've also been making them as well they come out really good. Creates a fuckton of smoke/steam indoors though. Worth over paying $14 for a

I use the back of a solid metal spatula to smash the beef in the pan. It works but I need something bigger like an actual metal press for the edges of the meat
>>
Depends if you put cheese on it or not.
Just remember, if it's not kosher, it's goyslop.
>>

Your local restaurants get their food from the same place as fast food restaurants you tard
>>
>>76820841
I love burgers so much
t. Obviously american
>>
Burgers mog every other kind of food, but not McDonald’s burgers or fast food joints.
Fried chicken burgers, smash burgers and so on are great, but generally if you’re watching your macros they take up quite a lot.
>>
>>76821453
Yeah from cows and yet
It's not about where it came from it's about what they do with it
>>
>>76821453
Tell me about all those local restaurants serving 1.4 oz burger patties, bro.
>>
>>76821405
This?
Want to buy one but afraid the meat will break and not stay in one piece
Already trying with a spatula because that's all I have and it breaks easily, perhaps too much pressure?
