>>76821121unironically get a personal trainer
>>76821121Sorry you missed summer strength and conditioning, but just listen to your wrestling coach, he has your best interest in mind. You're 14, 15 years old, just keep at it, and maybe you'll get varsity come junior year.
>>76821121>approach biggest guy>nod>"looking thick, solid, tight">slap his shoulder>"got any tips big boy?"bro will take care of the rest
>>76821166…im 24
>>76821223
>>76821121do whatever you want. time will guide you along.
>>76821121If you’re a skelly, just spend the first one to two weeks using the most basic machines just to get through the early rounds of DOMS from your weak, veal-like muscles finally being exercised for the first time. The most important thing to do is to establish the routine of actually going to the gym consistently and completed full workouts. Once you graduate from basic machines, just do some research and find a program that fits what you’re trying to achieve, whether it’s strength or size or whatever. If you are a more rotund gentleman, just focus on cardio, proper dieting, and like basic low-weight, high rep movements to lose weight. Being fat as a moose and hitting the heavy ass weight with no experience is a recipe for disaster. Also, I’m retarded so don’t follow any of this advice.
do whatever the stinky brown pajeets are doing with the dumbbell fivers. they’re the most populous ethnicity on planet earth, they must be doing something right to reproduce so much!
>>76821121Lift heavy weights until you can't anymore.
Do things randomly until your body is affected. If it results in gains incentivise yourself to do that more, if it results in injuries incentivise yourself to do that less. This approach works for machine learning and it can work for you too.
>>76821230>>76821241>>76821246>>76821254>>76821302>>76821333OP hereI have decided on a Dorian Yates style workoutsuper high intensity with little volume every other day
>>76821246Pretty much the exact advice I would give. Would add though he should be sure to hit all the major muscle groups. Gotta get chest, shoulders, upper back, lats, biceps, triceps, quads, and hamstrings. Just warm up with some weight that feels light then do 1 or 2 sets pushed all the way until you hit the limit. With 8 body parts to hit and only a set or two per lift he should be in and out of the gym in like an hour. Full body twice a week should do the trick until he's not a complete noob anymore
>>76821369Bro if that's really the route you wanna go I'd seriously recommend lowering the volume at first or you're gonna get shit on real hard. He's doing like 5 genuine failure sets per muscle. That's too much for you starting out and you're gonna fuck yourself up. Try with just 1 set of 1 lift per body part to start. Add more as you go with more lifts that hit the same muscle in different ways until you can do Blood and Guts properly. I'm telling you dude if you jump immediately in to training that hard when you have zero experience you're gonna get fucked
>>76821246>>76821333>>76821370wowactually good posts on /fit/thank you!
>>76821375my main issue is following a routine and working out with intentjust standing there awkwardly shuffling from machine to machine is the last thing I need
>>76821121Just main bench every/every other workout thank me later
