i'm 22. In January this year I suddenly started feeling like shit. I was working out consistently, eating well, peak physique. Then all of a sudden I started losing my energies and started feeling like a lump in my neck (left bottom side of it), 2 weeks into this I also felt a huge pressure on the high left side of my chest (above to the left of the heart) that felt like a heart attack. Then I woke up one day and both my hands were like dead, felt like I had just got electrocuted.
what the fuck? i go to the ER, do bloods, eco to my neck all good. then they tell me its the stomach, check my stomach and its all good. then i go check my heart and its all good. then i go to a neurologist and its all good.
from then on, right hand always feels colder than left, I wake up from sleep with eyes burning and sometimes like I wake up from a coma. if i sleep supine i always feel like that for some reason.
also i feel slow af in movements and speech but my internal thinking is completely intact, also always fatigued as fuck.
tried anti stomach acid, tried anti anxiety, tried anti depressants. nothing works.
the only thing i changed before being sick was training my neck, i started 2 weeks earlier so maybe that could be something. im doing an MRI to the neck next week but what else should i check?
like how the fuck can someone even go from healthy to fucked up in 2 weeks?
no meme therapies please

Have you been checked for sleep apnea? I don’t know if it would explain everything but it’s something that would be worse from sleeping supine and would cause the fatigue and from that reduced mental clarity

i did a sleep study at home and it did show severe snore and reduced flow, especially when supine. showed it to the ENT and he basically ignored it

You were cursed by a gypsy.

You getting enough salt, broseph?

In my 20's I got real strict about my diet. Cut salt in an effort to help with slightly high blood pressure. Coincidentally around that time my heart started occasionally skipping beats. Lemme tell you, that shit sucks - you go cold instantly, and if you don't know what's going on it's scary as hell.

Turns out, I cut salt too hard. Literally lacked the electrolytes needed for healthy cardiovascular function.

Fixed my blood pressure with exercise, and supplementing L-Arginine and L-Citrulline. Went back to eating my salt. To this day, decades later, my doctor talks shit about my salt intake, but my blood pressure is better than ever.

Anyhow, lump in your neck, I don't know what to tell you there. If you're American, you can keep demanding doctors look at you until you figure it out, but it honestly may be nothing. Bodies are weird.

As for the hands going numb while sleeping on your back, is it the whole hand, or mostly the pinky?

The nerve we call the funny bone runs down the back of your neck, under your collarbone, then across your shoulder and down your arm. It is responsible for control of your pinky and some of your ring finger. If you sleep on your back like the fucking dead, it is entirely possible for your collarbone to lay on that nerve and cause half of your hand to feel numb.

The easy way to test this is to prop up while sleeping. Sleep in a recliner if you can - that'll keep you from rolling around and help with any sleep apnea too.

And get a damn sleep test. They're usually easy to talk your doctor into and covered by insurance. These days you take the equipment home, sleep in your own bed, and take it back the next day - easy peasy.

Well change in energy level and lump in the neck suggests thyroid, but they must have checked that pretty much first... so fuck nose.
