I saw some videos and podcasts and want to try doing 5 minutes of "movement snacks" every hour while working from home.
Has anyone tried it and have some suggestions?
I've come up with a list so things don't get repetitive:
> Tibetan rites
> Yoga sun salutations
> Horse stance + cossack squats
> KB halos + squats
> Push-ups + KB rows
> Spinal waves
> Jump rope
I'm open to suggestions.
My objective is just to keep the rust off and have better energy during the day . The normal gym + cardio isn 't doing the job, so after hearing a podcast discussing the benefits of sparcing light exercises throughout the day, I've decided to give it a try.

If "normal gym + cardio," whatever that means, isn't doing it, then it's unlikely movement snacks will do anything for you. That whole therory is geared more towards 1)nearly 100% sedentary officer workers who do neither normal gym or any cardio 2)old farts nearing clinical fragility 3) really fat fucks who need to keep EPOCs going round the clock to have a fucking chance. Not saying you would get absolutely no benefit, but it sounds like you'd be better off upping your intensity with what you're already doing.

Sure, it will be great for the muscles and grease the groove, as well as get the heart rate up for some cardio.

It's crazy that we all just pretend that this sort of attire is necessary for 'comfort' and 'flexibility' and isn't actually worn solely to attract male attention and bring up ratings on womens' events.
Just like all the dads sat watching 'womens' gymnastics for the 'athleticism' or womens' beach volleyball for the 'sportsmanship' and we're not all just horny fuckers enjoying the spectacle of absolute physical specimens jumping around in skintight leotards that are self-wedgied up their perfect butts.
Society just pretends that none of us are doing that and that they have to wear this shit for 'performance'. Meanwhile men are running in shorts, doing full and much more impressive gymnastics routines in full trousers...

So you saying I can do pull-ups ever day, even after a back workout?

>movement snacks
God, I hate women and everything they come up with

It's a really good idea to get up and do something every hour, even if its just walking around. Sitting all day sucks for your body.
That said I've found that it doesn't really help with improving energy. That's usually fixed for me by getting better sleep, taking a nap, or just stopping what I'm working on and doing something else for a bit.
