We don't have a price comparison site for Poland so this will be a general estimate. With 4000zl you're looking at a last-gen DDR4 build with a 4060Ti-class card. Nvidia's offerings under $600 are pretty poor right now but I agree with him that they're probably the better option unless he's decently tech-savvy.
Here's an example build to give you a general outline. The actual components will vary based on local pricing and availability. Be sure to shop around for the commodity parts (case, SSD, RAM, & PSU).

Jews didn't detonate any capacitors. As far as I know they put up to 3 grams of explosives at the factory and the end users don't open devices when buy them.
This is why you should build your PC part by part yourself, observing every component.

>>102453054
Not in general performance, no. The main difference is that 6000C30 kits are all Hynix while C36 kits are usually Samsung. Hynix ICs clock higher and are generally more stable at these speeds but that matters less when you're buying a bundle and don't intend to manually OC.

Feel free to downgrade the case if your kid doesn't care about gamer LED bling (he probably does).
Pickest the cheapest-on-xkom component that's still by a reputable brand in each category so don't get attached to specific brands or models.
You can add more storage, RAM and a better CPU later if you need it.

Good to know. 500 extra is no big deal if it gives real value. Especially when it comes to CPU choice, as a lot of parts you buy are dictated by what CPU you get. So this setup could be good, I could change the case and it could work.

In compute, AI and HPC, yes, it's going to be damn great achieving 2x performance as seen in the demos already like Stable Diffusion. In gaming? Say your prayers. I expect the only thing that will be better is UE5 games out of the box because of support for Execute Indirect but otherwise, nothing indicates it is going to shake up the market that much more on a performance level. It maybe lessens your want for an AMD card and that will be it.

No. They are neck-in-neck price and performance wise. But at that level you might as well get the card capable of good RT/PT performance even if you don't play games that use it right now just as a fringe benefit. The 7900 XTXX is too expensive, maybe when the RDNA4 (8800 XT) launces either in October or after CES in January it'll act as a boat anchor to drag down the high-end of RDNA3 to reasonable levels.

>any specs?
https://videocardz.com/newz/amd-radeon-rx-8000-rdna4-graphics-card-with-56-cus-and-16gb-memory-appears-on-geekbench
>Before diving into the specs, it’s important to note that we don’t know how advanced the development of the RDNA4 GPUs is. The GPU in question could be a qualification sample or still an engineering sample, meaning it might not feature the full specs or clock speeds expected from GPUs in later production stages.

>The RX 8000 GPU in the Geekbench entry shows 28 Compute Units, which in this case refers to Work Group Processors (WGPs). This number should be doubled to determine the actual CU count, so this RDNA4 GPU likely has 56 CUs and 3,584 Stream Processors, assuming AMD hasn’t changed how cores are distributed. Additionally, the GPU has a clock speed of 2,101 MHz, which is relatively low compared to expectations. This highlights the importance of recognizing that this might not be the final version of the silicon, though.

>Additionally, the Geekbench leak confirms that the GPU will feature 16GB of VRAM.
They are aiming for $500 or less which would have second order effects on the more expensive higher-tier cards.

If you don't want to upgrade for 10 years I'd suggest either getting the 7800X3D when it comes back down to Earth in pricing or a 14700K or it's Arrow Lake equivalent when it comes out in October. GPU is a crapshoot since we have no idea what the specs of next-gen of consoles will be when they come out in 2-3 years that will govern graphics for the remainder of the decade thereafter.

Graphics have peaked, game unoptimizations have not. Games that look like they were made 5-6 years ago, have higher VRAM requirements than ever because of poor coding and trash engines like UE5. If you are playing at 1080p you might getaway w/8GB in less demanding titles for the next 2-3 years until new consoles hit but if you play at any higher resolution or AAA titles 12GB is the minimum now.

The 5700X3D is a special case that AMD dumped a huge inventory of them in and around China for their consumption at substantial discounts so they are available for purchase as a result at abnormal discounts compared to more modern/in-production chips.

I have checked other CPUs and there isn't nearly the delta in pricing we are seeing with the 5700X3D (in some cases AliExpress lists the same chips for more than domestic). So it's specific to the 5700X3D and how AMD dumped these defective 5800X3Ds (which is what they are) over there.

When you consider that even fully function Ryzen chips are already defective/bad bins of EPYC chips that AMD pawns off on suckers in the Enterprise/Data Center market the 5700X3D is a defect part of an entire defect binned lineup, essentially the piper cleaner of silicon inventory from AMD just to get rid of them at some manageable margin instead of outright destroying them. As long as they get something for these CPUs they don't care about how much or little they sale for and have said as much public ally in just the past week:

The 3D cache fixes (or at least it's a crutch for) Zen's main bottleneck, i.e. Infinity Fabric being a pile of shit. The reason why it applies to games especially, is because games are fairly simple, where you have a limited set of variables that have to be updated every single frame/tick. If that working set can fit into the cache, you get the bigspeed. If it doesn't and it spills over into RAM, you don't get the bigspeed. Most productivity workloads are more complex compared to games under the hood, and don't get the cache boost.
>>
>>102455215
>In my country the difference is ~20 bucks and it takes over two weeks to ship.
Then it's a judgement call if two weeks is worth saving $20 or not (considering how many years after receiving it that you'll keep this CPU for).

>>102455198
The jump from Zen 2 to Zen 3 was abnormally good for AMD in terms of single core & IPC gains for games, and the inclusion of more cache is extremely well leveraged for games because the code data if it's very large can just sit in the CPU to execute commands and calculations without having to do a roundtrip to system RAM that really helps FPS minimums and frametimes compared to the non-X3D chips. So it's a compounding effect of both.

What is the price of your monitor you are getting since it doesn't show up in >>102455341 ?
I have two options for you:
1. https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/hjYGWt
^AMD Zen 4 + DDR5 = 2833.27 AUD
2. https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/9bnvHG
^Intel Alder Lake + DDR4 = 2691.45 (pictured)

All other parts above are the same. Since this is purely a gaming machine you want to spend the minimum amount possible on the CPU just making sure it won't bottleneck the GPU and throw half or more of your total budget to the GPU to be as beefy as possible. The AMD Ryzen 7600 is basically equivalent to the Intel i5 12600K but slightly faster by 3% or so at 1440p but requires more expensive DDR5 ram which is why a build using it costs ~140 AUD more. See here:
https://www.techpowerup.com/review/amd-ryzen-9-9950x/19.html
I'd pocket the savings if it were me, that's more a judgement call for you to make.

You were overpaying for Mobo, Cooler, RAM, SSD, Case, and Power Supply that I brought down to sane levels and took some of the savings and upgraded you from the 4070 Ti Super to a 4080 Super instead.

Also those are terribly overpriced headsets. Getting a quality pair of headphones and a microphone will be cheaper and have worlds better audio quality.

Only seems odd if you ignore $1600 is being eaten by the GPU as it should for a gaming first-and-only type build.

>isn't it much better to either go zen 4 or wait for the new intel gen?
Again I've laid out that Zen 4 is faster than the 12th Gen Intel slightly @ 1440p (the differences here mind are exaggerated by being benched with a 4090 that is far stronger and pushes the CPU more than a 4080S will). But it comes at a high platform cost I don't think is worth the entrance fee. As for Arrow Lake it will be slightly faster at best with much lower power consumption, but crucially will not launch at lower prices to be worth considering unless you are willing to increase your budget limit.

>If you look at geekbench the 9700X would seem amazing. Is it just gaymers that got shafted?
Pretty much, AMD did the absolute most they could with the architecture without it actually being able to improve in desktop workloads. This is because of the increasing divorce between Data Center and Client computing needs. AMD frankly doesn't care if Zen 5 never sales well as it's just wafer byproducts of EPYC production.

For just a gaming system you are best off with a 5700X3D which is basically a 5800X3D on the gaming charts here minus 5% or so:
https://www.techpowerup.com/review/amd-ryzen-9-9950x/19.html
Get it on Aliexpress here for $135 is the value king ATM: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256806921974699.html
Then you can get 32GB of cheap DDR4 RAM to pair with it.

Boosted your NVME storage from 1 to 2TB (there's no real world difference in speed between them).

Same spec PSU from Thermaltake that comes with a 10-year warranty vs. 7 on the Corsair SKU while being slightly cheaper.

Boosted you from a 4070S to a 7900 XTX that brings your min framerate @ 1440p from 89 to 120 FPS:
https://www.techpowerup.com/review/xfx-radeon-rx-7900-xtx-magnetic-air/36.html
Could also swap in a 4080S if RT/PT performance matters to you.

Even Threadripper caps at 350W TDP (and unlike consumer-grade CPUs it actually respects that limit) unless you overclock it. You can easily make do with 750W. That leaves either overclocking or adding a bunch of hard drives.

How much difference in speed can a shitty mobo and PSU make? I had some old shitty HP "gaming" PC as spare computer that was full of proprietary components, I took out the components that are still kinda good(8 gen CPU, RAM, HDD, GPU) and put it on a spare mobo(some old Asrock HD310 or something like that) along with a new PSU and now the system feels overall smoother, and performance in games seems to have increased a bit.

The main measurements you need to check for ATX builds are the cooler height and video card length. PSU length may be a concern on >1kW units. SFX PSU aside, you've got a very conventional build there so neither one should be a problem.

If you are putting a Ryzen 7000/8000 in it, you won't have to update the bios and it will work out of the box. If you are putting a Ryzen 9000 on it, then it won't turn on unless you update the BIOS, by putting a usb stick with the file on it and pressing the BIOS FLASH button on the MSI motherboard. Lower capacity drives (8,16,32gb) have higher success rate for some reason. Another way of doing it is temporarily putting a 7000/8000 and downloading an exe, doing it on windows

You can get the Dell G2724D right now while it's on sale for $170:
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/vyqrxr/dell-g2724d-270-2560-x-1440-165-hz-monitor-g2724d

It's never been lower than $180 since launch middle of 2023, and at this price nothing touches it or can touch it below $400-500:

Outside of OLEDs, the most reasonable option is the LG UltraGear 27GR83Q-B @ $347:
https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/lg/27gr83q-b
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-1zV7MYT4U

The 250Hz WOLED INNOCN 27A1S starts at $550 which puts a hard ceiling on high expensive and good any high-refresh LCDs can ever get since their slow response times will never let them fully resolve a 200Hz+ Refresh Cycle with 100% compliance anyway.

NP. Might give Dell a physical phone call and explain your situation to them about receiving a borked display from another brand and got recommended this model instead and ask if you can go ahead and reserve an order for it or if the sale is ending really soon could they spot you some credit for it if your current monitor return runs late. Worst thing they can say "Nah, sorry bro."

I think 60Hz is a deal breaker in 2024 unless it's going to be a cheap throwaway secondary display for office apps/discord chat/etc. Even an upgrade to 120Hz is night and day as far as motion performance and clarity of the the mouse cursor and dragging windows around in the OS. It also makes the entire system FEEL snappier and more responsive by cutting input lag in half. That's almost like moving from an HDD boot drive to an SSD.

No worries the cheapest 4K IPS right now is actually 70~75Hz for $170:
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/GktLrH/sceptre-u279w-4000r-269-3840-x-2160-70-hz-monitor-u279w-4000r
And the cheapest 120Hz+ 4K IPS is ~$300:
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/N3tLrH/aoc-agon-pro-ag324ux-315-3840-x-2160-144-hz-monitor-ag324ux
So there is still a premium but it's not what was in the dark old days, thankfully. High-refresh OLED PC monitors have really drove pricing of used-to-be "premium" specs down market recently.

Alright the first link for the GN05 is a VA panel. Good for contrast but I don't trust hardly any of those type displays except a select few Samsung panels (and I can't know if this Koorui rebadge is using one) to actually deliver good motion performance transitions coming in and out of dark colors to prevent Black Smearing/Reverse Ghosting which is the tech's Achilles Heel.

The second Koorui 27E3QK which appears to use the well-reviewed AU Optronics IPS panel:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0QcQMDUtNM
^Turn on CC Subs.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brEQ0tPgyh4

Not a terrible amount of info/reviews on either display available but Koorui as a Chinese brand basically are known for delivering higher-spec monitors at rock-bottom prices in order to eat into marketshare of the Western consumer base.

>Is a used 6950 XT worth it for $500?
Absolutely not. It is only slightly behind a 3090 which puts it roughly on par with a 7900 GRE and 4070 Super which start around $530 BRAND NEW:
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Ln4Zxr/asrock-challenger-oc-radeon-rx-7900-gre-16-gb-video-card-rx7900gre-cl-16go
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/y6dG3C/msi-ventus-2x-oc-geforce-rtx-4070-super-12-gb-video-card-rtx-4070-super-12g-ventus-2x-oc
https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/radeon-rx-6950-xt.c3875
So you are only getting a $30-50 discount for roughly the same performance on a years old card that puts out a lot of heat/power. Furthermore, the 800 XT (RDNA4) is rumored for October targeting a 500-600$ or less price point but with the performance of a 7900 XT.

None as long as the VRM is robust enough not to throttle the CPU you throw into it (which 95% of AM5 boards are). See here to verify if the cheapest board(s) you are looking at make the cut (timestamp @ 23:21):

It's really the individual board's feature set that differentiates AM5 more so than nominal CPU performance.

as long as you don't play multiplayer fps you don't need more than 60fps. even then you can benefit from the reduction of input lag from just disabling V-sync and let the game run at max fps.

Outside of 4K OLEDs that curbstomp any LCD under the sun the most well tuned 4K IPS is probably the LG UltraGear 27GR93U-B in terms of high PPI sharpness, general image quality, and motion tuning for response times & overshoot despite it's modest refresh rate:
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/4YZXsY/lg-ultragear-27gr93u-b-270-3840-x-2160-144-hz-monitor-27gr93u-b
https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/lg/27gr93u-b
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVuH1f1c_GE
It's 500 fucking dollars right now though which is too damn close to the entry point of OLED in my point to actually be worth recommending in good conscience.

A more reasonable option for it's performance is the Gigabyte M27U @ 4K160Hz for $400:
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/dTJp99/gigabyte-m27u-sa-270-3840-x-2160-160-hz-monitor-m27u-sa
https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/gigabyte/m27u
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGIsvXa4zGg
It's got competitive performance with other 2160p 27" panels at a saner price.

For what it's worth here they are measured H2H to see what the extra $100 buys you (hint it's not much):

>Is the 2025 OLED without burnins still on track for release?
If you meant using Blue PHOLED to replace the weakness link in the OLED RGB Iron Triangle it's.........complicated. Currently released info is that yes it's more efficient at translating a given power into higher brightness but surprisingly at lifetime of only 55% the current Blue Fluorescent subpixel material:
https://www.flatpanelshd.com/news.php?subaction=showfull&id=1723713570

However, LG at least plans to engineer around the issue by essentially gluing blue fluorescent and phosphorescent layers together into a hybrid approach to increase both brightness and lifetime on their next-gen two-stack tandem OLED panels:
https://www.flatpanelshd.com/news.php?subaction=showfull&id=1724330515

They are also still on track as far as I know to intro a true RGB OLED at the end of 2025 so we'll see.
God knows what Samsung will do for their next revision of QD-OLED (probably something similar as there are only so many ways to skin a cat when it comes to OLED chemistry).

OLEDs don't have the wide range of performance using the same generation of panels that LCDs do.
It basically boils down to what size/resolution you want and within that class whether you want a WOLED panel (matte finish, worse color performance and uniformity) or a QD-OLED (glossy not great for environments with uncontrolled ambient lighting but richer picture and better colors/uniformity):
https://pcpartpicker.com/products/monitor/#r=384002160,256001440&P=7,9&sort=price&page=1
Right now the standouts to me are:
INNOCN 27A1S - $550 1440p (WOLED) cheapest PC OLED monitor, period
MSI MPG 271QRX QD-OLED - $700 1440p (QD-OLED), cheapest glossy QD-OLED
MSI MPG 321URX QD-OLED - $950 4K (QD-OLED), cheapest 4K OLED monitor
Everything else is niche like the Samsung Odyssey G60SD which is a QD-OLED with a matte coating or a filler SKU that is identical to the above models at higher prices.

Bigger = better.
The RPM of the 120mm to reach the same amount of volume of air being pushed by a 200mm is a lot.
And high RPM = more noise and needs more power. Bigger fans require less power, has less noise for the same amount of cooling of a 120mm or 140mm. And if noise and you have more headroom in your PSU then you can make the 200m fan spin a lot faster for more cooling.

did the intel 2.5gb nic problems get fixed ?

Trying to decide whether to buy a x670e board or wait for 870e
>>
>>102465429
Simple
I don' buy Intel CPUs
>>
When are RX 8000 and 5000 coming out?
>>
>>102465444
x670e and x870e are identical but usb 4 support is standard on the latter instead of manufacturer-dependent
>>
>>102465508
I was looking at the asus x670 rog strix e vs the 870e version.
The main difference is the nics. the x670e has that 2.5gb intel nic that had all those problems a year ago. I'm not sure if they fixed it.

What are the downsides of 7800X3D and 7950X3D

I accidentally killed a core on my 5820k overclocked before and I rma'd with intel. I had a new cpu in a couple days no questions asked.
>>
>>102465543
worse than their regular counterparts in non-gaming tasks
not by much but the difference is definitely there
potentially core parking/scheduler issues on the 7950x3d but those have probably been fixed by now

What are the best air coolers for 7800X3D?
>>

they can literally blow up your PC at any fucking time if you talk shit about them on the internet
>>
When did AIO become standardized?
>>
>>102465543
7800x3d:
weak multi thread performance for the price.
Sketchy platform with compatibility problems with some memory kits or just bad boards.

7950x3d:
using xbox game bar to manage what apps are considered games and designate what cores to use.
same issue with flaky platform.

AMD hasn't patched the sinkclose vulnerability for their ryzen 1 or bulldozer cpus.

Absolute best? Probably the nh d15 G2 with the specialized am5 plate
What you should get? Phantom spirit, it's 95% as good for 1/4 of the price

Can 14th gen be cooled with air coolers?
>>
>>102465791
It can't even be cooled with water coolers
>>
>>102465791
Yes, but it's best to use one in conjunction with a contact frame to ensure even pressure across the die.

^12th Gen demonstration but applies to 13/14th Gens as well since they all share the same LGA 1770 socket ILM.
