I need a build mostly for music production but also light media creation and general computer usage.Budget is ~500 Euros. No discrete GPU for the time being. How's this?https://it.pcpartpicker.com/list/JGhWVWI only need to buy CPU, RAM, motherboard, and power supply (highlighted green in pic related).I already have the case and the storage (blue), and the rest (red) is just there for compatibility in case I want to upgrade in the future.Since I won't be getting dedicated graphics I decided to go with the cheapest (non-"T") CPU with a UHD 770.I won't be pushing it too much so I shouldn't really worry about the recent Intel problems (especially considering the fixes), right?I would really prefer an Intel processor because a non-trivial number of music production programs don't run well or at all on AMD CPUs.I'm thinking of waiting for the next gen to come out (would really prefer not to), but even if the CPUs cost the same, the motherboards with the new socket will be more expensive, no?Tbh I'm thinking that not waiting, as well as the potential savings, would be worth the (seemingly small) risk.Anything I should keep in mind?Thank you very much in advance.PS:CPU and motherboard have a custom price because I found them for cheaper here:https://www.bpm-power.com/it/online/componenti-pc/processori/cpu-intel-box-core-b2152720https://www.bpm-power.com/it/online/componenti-pc/schede-madri/scheda-madre-asrock-b760m-b2048873

In my opinion it's not worth delaying a like 30€ purchase for that risk.If red is "buy later", keep in mind that 14500 stock cooler is (as far as I remember) absolute ass and you'll effectively want to cap the wattage of it pretty low to prevent it from basically melting. It might be worth just grabbing a 20-30€ cpu cooler asap as well here.If you need to get the money for that ram/cpu cooler from somewhere, it might be a possibility to save a bit on motherboard. Unless you need the wifi, you could probably save like 20-30 at least on an otherwise decent mobo. If you do need the wifi you're kinda fucked since it removes all the cheap mobos from the options.

>>102488594Again, I'm not too knowledgeable on all this, but from a glance, it seems like first off your system won't die but rather it might be less stable (aka crashes/blue screens), however the causes of this seem to be related to the cpus being pushed with too high clocks or too many watts which SHOULD be okay for the cpu but clearly aren't. The main issue with this is that the default OC profiles & whatnot that motherboards came with were high enough that it causes these issues, so people who aren't too familiar with OC'ing were having a lot of issues. I don't know if it's offtopic, but is there a way to check what the exact cause of a performance issue with a game would be?I'm having a particular game that for some stupid reason fluctuates between 80 and 120fps continuously for a bit in specific areas. It's a quick thing that's very, very jarring when moving the camera around with a controller (not as noticeable with a mouse for obvious reasons). I don't think there's any bottleneck at hand going by examples of bottlenecks. I have games that are more demanding running much better. But I also have accounts of people saying this doesn't happen on nvidia GPUs (which is what I have now, this didn't happen before on a weaker AMD GPU).
>>102489625>>102489648Because I can show you what meaningful driver overhead actually looks like
>>102489633Problem is they're all at the same distance except for the TF9. Quite literally. Right now I don't have to extend my hand much and I can reach all of these.I guess the noctua is the easiest to apply.
I need opinions on the sizes/shape of these cases, the thermaltake core V1 and Lian li a3, the lian li surprisingly has more room for a bigger cooler and motherboard, but I don't know how much I like the size that's basically a smaller tower. I am getting worried...I've got a PC (should be a X570 and Ryzen 5 something without APU), used to run it with a RTX3060 and a RX580 (the latter only used for emulation reasons).Just a few minutes ago, I've started hearing a beeping sound coming from the case - it was interrupted and came once in regular intervals. Just beep...beep...beep...beep...going on and on, no rhythm to it.So I turned it off, took out the RX580, tried to turn it back on. No signal on either monitor. So I turned it off, took out the RTX3060, still no monitor. No beeping sounds, nothing. CPU seemed fine temp wise, so it's probably not that. Both graphics cards fan spin, the one remaining HDD I have from years ago spins up no issue. So why the fuck doesn't it give any signal to HDMI?

>>102487214hey guys, ive previously asked guidance here for the following 1440p/60hz build>AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D>AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT>B650>32GB DDR5-6000>Samsung 980 Pro>Corsair H150i>850W 80+ Gold ATX 3.0 PSU (prob Corsair or Cooler Master)anon said it was a solid build, overpriced cooler, but ok overallive been doing research and im starting to consider the Xbox Series X mostly for convenience and GTA 6still, if I pay someone to build the pc and wait for gta 6 come to pc, how would a 1tb Xbox Series X compare to that build in 1440p/60hz?based on yt gameplays, the console seems an easy choice, specially considering priceam I missing something here?
>>102487412>Gay tracingWhen will Nvidia-Duckies realize that they got abandoned on this?AI is the new gimmick.RTX is abandonware in all but name.No refunds.
>>102493301>>102493427Maybe some day you'll have the IQ and money to buy GeforceInstead of nitpicking to try to cope with your bad decisions
>>102493431can we please stop adding graphics cheats? we already have frame gen i feel poor having a fucking 4090
I got star wars outlaws for fucking free for buying a GPU and I don't want to even play it
>>102493466You seem confused
>>102493503I have never in my life played a free promo game that came with a CPU/GPU/dragon dildo.
>>102493545people make games around these new features and crank everything up without optimization cause they expect you to turn these features on
>>102493177If you live near a microcenter, I'd grab a 7600x3dIf not, probably a 7700(x)5950x is hugely overkill production wise, which you apparently don't need. 7700(x) is cheaper & performs better in games. Honestly even a 7600(x) would serve you fine but since you have the money to spend, why not
>>102493591i did when i got blackflag for free
>>102493431> Maybe some day you'll have the IQ and money to buy GeforceI don’t think I’ll fall that low to buy a 4070 tier stuff to get owned by nvidia and amd with 4070S for the same price and 7900gre for even lessOr ps5 pro even, I’ve heard they’ll use the same gpu chip, KEK

>>102493394>how would a 1tb Xbox Series X compare to that build in 1440p/60hz?It's hard to compare apples to apples because consoles fuck with dynamic resolutions and often are hard to match settings on pc, but most likely it's not even close.People said a close GPU to xbox series X is 6750x (which I doubt isn't stronger) and the 7800xt is 30-50% stronger than that, plus with the 7800x3d there's pretty much no chance of running into cpu bottlenecks any time soon.

first time building a pc, I did try last year but shit happened and no money, hopefully i can soon, so Im doing some research for budget, againSo am I still correct in trying to get a 4070 for 1440p?

>>102493047huh? just turn on DLSS the game will look and play much better4K native doesn't exist, you'll see DLSS is used in all NVIDIA information.
DLSS just looks better than native. I didn't believe it before but that was when I didn't have a 40-series GPU. Now that I do own one, it's clearly very true. I'm pretty sure everyone with a 40-series card feels the same. Even people with 30-series cards can see it.
>>102494714That's a typical SSR artifactI hate SSR and always just turn it off for that reasonRT is a godsend for people like me>>102494847RTX 20 series as well. DLSS2 came out with the Super refresh. Geforce users have had better than native image quality at higher performance for almost five years at this point
