The image is a photograph featuring a young woman with a fair complexion and long, blonde hair styled in a loose ponytail. She is wearing black-rimmed glasses and is smiling warmly at the camera, creating a friendly and approachable atmosphere. She is dressed in a light grey, long-sleeved top that is pulled down to expose her large, natural breasts, which are prominently displayed in the foreground of the image. Her nipples are visible and slightly erect. The background reveals a modern, well-lit room with white walls and a skylight above, through which natural light streams, casting a soft, diffused glow over the scene. The skylight is framed by white window frames, and outside, there are glimpses of greenery and a blue sky. The overall setting suggests a casual, indoor environment, possibly a home or office space. The image is candid and intimate, focusing on the subject's upper body and face, with a slight angle that emphasizes her chest and facial expression., olympusd450 <lora:aidmaImageUpgrader:0.5> <lora:flux_realism_lora:1> <lora:olympusd450_lora:1>

idk, practical effects are good when they're good, digital effects are good when they're good. the problem isn't usually the style of film making, its bad film makers. its rare for people to take pride in the art because the industry is so fundamentally tainted by profit seeking

These days it is like this because cinema (mainstream cinema) is like pop music.

At some point even in Hollywood there was a time in which they were seeking for new places to be and some directors achieved this.
Of course they were still driven by Hollywood producers and its oligarchy.
I think the sweet spot is between 1980-1998 or maybe even earlier.

After 2015's it digital vfx became standard thing in any film production. Because it was so easy for the big production companies to hire the vendors.
And now... I can't even explain.
Follow billboard top 100 from 1960 to 2024 and you will see a similar progression. Music is not music anymore but just a computer generated product aimed towards certain consumers.

but the matrix was made in 1999 and is one of the best movies ever made. there's also a shitload of trash throughout that era too. but yeah, tons of gens and genre-definitions films in there
>Because it was so easy for the big production companies to hire the vendors.
this is true and probably a massive contributing factor to the fall of cinema. so much of the production is isolated and atomized that no one is working towards any unified artistic vision.

Reposting:
I'm trying to create a LoRA for Flux using ComfyUI and the custom node "ComfyUI Flux Trainer". I was able to get a dataset and start training but at 750 steps in (25%) I got an error saying:
RuntimeError: torch.cat(): expected a non-empty list of Tensors
It looks like it was trying to generate a sample image and was unable to do so. I don't really know why this happened and was wondering if anyone could give me some guidance to either (A) fix this problem or (B) suggest another way to locally create and train LoRA for Flux.

I tried a second time as well after messing around a bit with a new data set. I got the same issue. It seems that there is a 'sample images' directory or something that is empty and I do not know where to locate that or why it is empty.
The relevant traceback is:
  File "C:\AIArt\ComfyUI\ComfyUI_windows_portable\ComfyUI\custom_nodes\ComfyUI-FluxTrainer\library\flux_train_utils.py", line 110, in sample_images
return torch.cat(image_tensor_list, dim=0)
RuntimeError: torch.cat(): expected a non-empty list of Tensors

Thank you. So just ammend that onto the end of the 'run_nvidia_gpu' batch file?
Alternatively, if there is a way to bypass the need to generate preview images while training that would probably also work. I am getting a lora but only after the first 25% of the process whereupon it gets interrupted by the error. The training itself seems to work well enough so if I can just get it to skip whatever is causing the error/lack of memory I could continue with the other 75% of the training steps.
>>
>>102509083

I am sorry that you do not believe me.
I used a simple LoRA training script for SD1.5 and SDXL (the one linked in the OP) which was more or less retard proof. When I did encounter errors I was able to solve them on my own. I have a vague understanding of how training works conceptually and what changing variables like repetitions and epochs does but I understand almost nothing of the technical/coding side of things.
I have very little experience with Flux but have heard that you can make LoRA that work really well with smaller datasets; this is ideal for me since a lot of the things I want to make LoRA of do not have lots of images. Looking at how to make LoRA for Flux I found the custom node setup I'm using and a bunch of other options that wanted me to pay for it, which I am unwilling to do.

Also, if you use common english to tag or normal english or florence-2.

The length should be about 180-200 words. I suppose you took the joycaption paragraph and summarized it to about 2 long sentences?

I'll commend you for knowing that I had planned to use it in production but I think that this is an extremely small minded way to look at things.

I will even give you my use case: I am making a short film where the inciting incident is a car veering off of the road after their tire rips itself apart at night. I don't *need* to show the tire actually ripping apart and the way I wrote the script doesn't show it but I would like the option to show a split second of the tire ripping apart.

Even testing out some of the worst text to video generators and they could do it but they are parsing my prompt like utter shit. In one it looks fine until the wrong tire explodes despite my trying to tell it which tire a dozen different ways.

you can never have the same car across cuts which is why txt2vid doesn't work for this. use keyframe interp and just inpaint the correct tire to explode you stupid mong

How so? For spending a few moments looking at ways to increase my production value? Again, I already have the shot without it exploding on camera. Picked up a mangled tire off of the road, chopped it using an angle grinder and lit the scene so you can't tell it's not the actual tire. It's in the can. But I like the option of showing the rire mid ripping apart.

>>102512350
Don't need the same car, just the wheel well and the tire ripping apart. Again, for all of the objection the AI prompts are working but it is just a lack of control getting the right tire to be the focus of the AI.

that's proof enough you aren't autistic enough in the details to make anything good. just use cg if you are just making a piece of shit scene like this without caring about cohesion. humans are very good at spotting shit like this and making it intentionally cheap disqualifies it from being a good black comedy (like the room)
>>
>>102512450
>that's proof enough you aren't autistic enough in the details to make anything good.

>Projecting: The Post
My cinematographer is incredibly anal about shot composition. That's why I pay them. We spent five hours Friday night getting the scene right as I wrote it and wrapped at 2 in the morning. Its incredibly easy to be an armchair director but out in the real world we try shit out, look at it in the editing den and if it doesn't work we throw it away and if it does we keep it.

Funfact: I worked on a Jurassic World movie for an entire scene that got canned before anyone saw it.

You posted an excellent piece without actually reading it. If you actually read what they said in full their issue is continuity shot to shot. Which I don't need. I need a split second clip as an option to add to an already completed scene. It costs me nothing but time on my night off to test out. If Directors didn't test things out and go against the grain huge important moments in cinema would have not happened. Kubrick himself said shit armchair directors and producers told him he shouldn't do or try are now big parts of why his work is so well regarded.

Again, you keep beating this strawman up but it just doesn't apply to me. To this point the only AI tool I've dabbled with for this project is for generating storyboards and now I am *considering* using a split second of AI generated video. If you actually read the piece 'Actually Using Sora' posted above they said they were able to get good images but their issue was matching it up to the rest of the footage. I literally don't need that and have said that multiple times.

Again, your posts just read as sour grapes that I'm out here doing it while you are crying about my methods of trying shit out.

>>102513307
>Testing out new methods
it's not new faggot. it's been tried tirelessly and every fucking time prod companies and VFX teams hate it. prompts only is not good enough to give you the video you want, you have to use image inputs. you could have just generated a car for the first frame and I painted an exploding tire for the end and generated something usable by now but you'd rather shit and piss that "no just one more iteration". you are fucking stupid and no wonder your work gets deleted rather than getting used. you even have the audacity to gloat that your shit sucks. wake the fuck up
