Maxwell & Pascal were exceptionally great generations of GPUs, it hasn't been repeated since.

The quality of the PC ports also depends on the resources and engineering culture of the game-developing company.
There are studios like id Software that take pride in programming their games to run well on every system, including the Switch.
Customer pushback can get crap ports like Starfield to receive Intel & NVIDIA hardware performance patches too.

Elden Ring is an anomaly in the pic, my guess is there's some legacy PS3 rendering code in FromSoftware's engine causing performance bottlenecks.
