Can't really smooth them out with EQ... it sounds as if either I introduce new dip or new peak... For music I can 100% hear how something like cymbals are getting quieter when I lower 9800 Hz by like 4-6 dB... It doesn't really sound worse or better... Let's say I have a hybrid POS with a crossover using capacitors and resistors. If I unplug my IEM in the middle of the song, the caps will have some charge in them. Assuming the charge doesn't dissipate immediately, what happens if I swap the polarity of my cable? Like if I am using a 2 pin connector and I connect it the opposite way. Will a current spike through the drivers when the cap immediately discharges? Is there a scenario where that can happen, using a single ended or balanced cable and some reverse polarity shenanigans?

Need help picking gym IEMs. I've killed 2 pairs now with sweat. In addition to good fit & bumpin bass that I can hear even if the fit starts to change when I strain, I'd like something that has good water resistance. Are IEMs even capable of that, or should I be sticking with TWS? I've been using Galaxy Buds Pro, but they suck at having a stable fit. When the fit's in, the bass is alright with the bass boost in the galaxy wear app but even the slightest facial contortion fucks that up. I'm nervous about going for $$$ Sony buds if they won't remedy that.
