Linus, techno Tim, and other YouTubers never actually spend huge amounts of money on their homelabs the way they could. It's like they're all colluding with each other to not do that. Pewds should have bought 3-4 of those AI h100 cards, thrown them into a 4u server chassis with a top of the line thread ripper, and some of the fastest crucial ssds and then played around with AI and Linux. It's infuriating to watch people who have the resources to do these things and build amazing homelabs, cripple themselves from their own inexperience and humble need to not go large.
