I've tried. My experience is that nobody can understand them, but nobody wants to just say that because they're afraid of an HR thing, so everybody just does this awkward play-pretend about it.

Understanding is only half of it anyways, there are times I can understand him and I realize that what he's saying is retarded, and he can't grasp anything. I'm just waiting it out at this point and wondering why everyone keeps doing the same stupid thing. You get these guys who don't know anything and can't communicate well and you wonder how that'll end up.

This nonsense is the root of meetings taking too long, people feel like they have to talk when they have nothing to say just so you know they're there. Even this feedback is the result of managers or gay project managers thinking they need to say something even when they don't have anything real.

If you wanted to put your experience on informal learning platforms like pluralsite or datacamp etc on your CV, would you put them in your Education section or a separate Learning section?

I used to put them in a separate section until I noticed a lot of application forms when they parsed my CV would miss them entirely, so I assume ATS systems would discard them too.
>>
>>107182921
Either is fine. Preferably if its a boot camp or udemy training then you put in Education with dates/bullshit certs that is given from these websites. If it's something as simple as setting up a server or building a computer you can put that as Key Skills or Homelab. But i have IT experience so that's what i normally see.

Some of them I fit the stack perfectly.
I have mastered exactly the things they are requesting (languages, frameworks, technologies) and have the experience to prove it.
As well as good stories and such which they sometimes ask.

There's no way that out of the 40 idiots who applied I am not the best fit, or at least worth a fucking interview.

Is he lying? Why would a company train their local LLM with their own devs and not just use copilot

What do you guys say when asked what you do for work? Tech is the equivalent of sanitation engineer to me I can't in good conscience say it or SDE or programmer. I am a crudmonkey plumber

CEO on all hands on deck meet says we're becoming an AI first company due to one (1) competitor in our niche being AI first and it's a jeet company at that... No demo no nothing, just a good valuation because "revolutionary AI approach to <niche>". It doesn't even make sense to use LLM since it's a numbers game, and we already use trad ML but obviously AI means ChatGPT text slop.

After that had a "demo session" to see brainlets interact with "agents" and of all the people in the company there's two jeets talking about "tips and tricks" as they are very experienced...

It's so over

I don't think I've ever heard anything that could be interpreted as being more over than that. My condolences, friend

Yeah, Anduril got back to me after my on-site and I was rejected.

I'm not too surprised since the dude I talked to for lunch had been there for 4 months and already done 15 chats with candidates. They're interviewing everyone they can get a hold of.

Plus everyone was either an old dude with 10 years of experience or a young local guy.
And well, I don't have the flashy startup or big tech experience to fit in with the young local guys.
Btw they had free kombucha in the cafeteria lol. Very swanky place.

Anyways. Back to applying.

My last company went full AI mega cancer as well. Funny thing is, somebody in finance 'accidentally' let slip our operating budget before I left and that they'd be doing layoffs soon. (he was my work bud and if I bought him a joint he'd tell me all kinds of shit)
Two months after I leave they fire like 30% of the company, then make this announcement about this absolutely shit AI tool they made thats going to "revolutionize" our industry.

Another three months later, another huge layoff lmao.

All this shit is just so transparent, its so funny watching tech collapse in on itself because its one of one of the best grifts being committed in human history, aside from maybe that desert jew death religion.

>be le me
>join meeting like 5 minutes early to be punctual and not forget to join it while working
>SM joins and says "Haha, wow thanks for joining everyone haha, who first join? Just curious haha."
>Told them it was me and if I did something wrong
>They just continue to say it was curiosity
>Next day rolls around for the same meeting since it's the usual stand up.
>Try to join the meeting like before
>Can't join any longer and have to wait until the host decides to join
Oh I see what's going on here, you're not slick.
