I am looking for a security camera to be used indoors and some advice from those with experience. Desired functionality:- battery powered, battery lasts for extended periods of time (more than just few weeks)- decent video quality- records only when it detects movement- stores data on SD card, preferably supports large SD card capacitybonus (not a must):- detects if camera is tampered with - color videoRecommendations?
What are you planning on recording?
use case?
>>107185523>>107185746recently there was an attempted break in at a building i live in. the camera would record the entry door from the inside. part of the entry door is see through.
the door (the upper part is plexiglass or something) so camera should be able to record whoever is up to something on the other side
>>107185966If that shit's happening frequently enough that you feel compelled to get a security camera for it, you're already living in a place where police wouldn't bother catching the invaders but would a 100% put you in prison for trying to stop it.
>>107186220all legal requirements for installing a security camera will be considered, i just wish to have something more specific to propose than just "lets install a security camera"
reochink is cheap enough and does everything you want, if you're paranoid and/or schizo you can throw it on a private network and store everything locally without any of the cloud shit
>>107185497Arlo basically does everything you are asking except warn you if it is tampered with, and it lacks local storage.
>>107186366>>107186399please provide exact models and it needs to have all desired functionality
