I decided to get two drives of the same size and transfer speeds for storage and backup, because even with two top tier NVMe drives, it takes 2+ hours to "back up everytihing"

I keep waiting for the 15.36 tb enterprise ssds to be not dense enough for real datacenters to bother but it's a long fucking wait.
I only have 50TB of storage but I'm not buying any more hard drives ever again. I've been babysitting arrays for nearly 20 years now. I'm over it rebuild times have been out of control for ages.

I still have multiple 1-2TB m2 and sata drive but I don't currently use them, I also stockpilled a bunch of 32-64GB usb stick and a few 512GB microsd because the incoming nand winter.
