>60% of Commonwealth Prize-winning stories in 2026 were heavily AI-generated

Sam Altman actually did it. He killed literature. I mean, he actually slaughtered it like a sick dog. If you're not at least impressed by one man butchering an entire art form, you have no soul.

Every book in the past 20 years has been written exclusively for women
I made the mistake of trying to get back into reading and bought a best seller murder mystery thriller from Amazon in the early 2020s.
It was filled with whining, going to therapy and getting fucked by Chad.
Literature is not worth it.

Anything after the 19th century isn't worth it.

Retard, even the author pic was AI-generated.

Up to the early 60's isn't bad, although there are quite a few warnings of literary things to come during the first half of the 20th century too.

i dont remember literature being alive prior to 2023 either

anyone with a brain didn't need evidence that the mainstream is all derivative crap. efficiently producing that crap is not that dramatic a change.
but it's good to know that you can provide tards with scientific evidence regarding this.....
oh wait, tards are just going to call this "AI art", like the jeets in this very board literally yesterday.

was dead since i was born. was dead before even my parents were born. one can argue since Hitler died.

It's true, and sadly it's nowhere near unique to literature.

>>
This is actually revealing about the power dynamics of publishing, editorial, and the review cliques more than anything else. Being dominated by women and cultural vandals, of course they can't detect decent literature. It's not even on their radar.
>>
Literature was dead after The Master and Margarita. That was the last great work.

i would have never believed that anyone actually did. but unfortunately, i have the misfortune of conversing with teenagers in my extended family, and some of them do fall for such post-modern celeb tards.
this shit is weird. like, i'm talking about upper-middle-class top-of-their-class kids.

Can someone explain this for me? I tried using AIs for complex alt-hist scenarios but they can't keep stuff coherent from one prompt to another, how can they output award winning stories?
>>
>>108891628
They don't, AI detectors don't work. You are just observing Xitters and /g/tards being retarded.
>>
>>108884033
There is a burgeoning alternative literature industry. You should look for new publishers and buy their books, share them, etc. The easiest way to hook into it is on X.

The old publishing industry is fake and gay and over. No one with any self respect even pays attention to it much less tries to publish something in it. Let them die off and look to new outlets for good books. There is something called the "Based Book Sales" going on right now for a glimpse into this.
>>
There used to be these things called "magazines" where people would read and review as many newly published works as possible. This is called "curation" and served as a key way for new writing to find an audience and for an audience to find GOOD new writing without having to wade through all of the garbage.

These things can and will exist again as soon as you stop being too lazy to read them and tell other people to read them.

This exact mindset is what will keep your heads in the sand forever. He killed nothing. He made it greater than it previously was, and it is these great literary minds (greater than you, at least) who accept this.

>Inb4 anti-AI cope

Reply disagreeing (or sarcastically agreeing) if you're mad and coping lol
>>
What did these literally whos do exactly? Because "tested" makes it sound like they jyst ran it through llm detecting software (probably their own). That kind of software never worked and never will work. Buy an ad, btw
