So after like 2 months of use my motospeed ck104 began freaking out. The lock indicator keys begin to flash randomly, the numbad becomes unusable. The arrow keys become unresponsive and seemingly randomly the down or the left key become stuck. Space either doesn't work at all or becomes stuck. Rest of the keyboard works fine, I can even change the lighting mode/color, have it reset to default mode with fn+esc, but I cannot tone down the the lighting because the down key doesn't work. What do I do, is it a goner or is there some fix to this issue? Have I been chinked? If it's fucked for good, is it worth it harvesting the keys/keycaps?

As someone who owns 7 of these, a warning:

The nib type you get on the metal ones is absolute dogshit. Get the plastic case ones instead. The quality control is also bad, even by china's standards. A couple of mine don't clip cartridges on tightly.

Baoer 388 is a much nicer alternative.

Buy any portable shit for a few dollars and you're good. Just don't expect what chinks say.

What about a Xiaomi meme box? Is it enough to stream from my Plex Server and some IPTV channels?
>>
>>64306703
I don't know about Xiaomi but Plex is fairly light. Interface is a little slow but I didn't run in playback issues (that aren't caused by network) while using Plex on my LG Smart TV which is bound to be weaker than any meme box.
IPTV channels shouldn't be an issue too.

Compare prices and features, but most things will run Plex alright up to 1080p. Don't know anything about 4K.

Autonomy is accurate in descriptions, it's 10h for the X3II (sorry, I made a mistake earlier, I have a X3, not a M3). However, even when off, battery still go down, i would say it would last about 2 weeks.
It handles flac perfectly, I think it does gapless playback, interface is good (not perfect though), sound quality is perfect.

Yeah you probably won't find anything with miniatures bootleged on ali. It's too niche and also expensive. Anything new and with miniatures (e.g. gloomhaven, mansions of madness) retails at least 100 euros, there's no way around that. Best bet is to get on kickstarter and get them there as they come. Out of curiosity, which country?

Most of the popular ones are, they come with a card to check. If there is no card, then you either got chinked or it's harder to check as you need another polarized lens.

I need a degaussing wand to fix some old CRT TVs. I think this is one of the worse things you can buy from China. Sites like Aliexpress are great for cheap and quirky stuff not for well designed devices. Just my 2 cents but every time I see someone order expensive electronics I can't help but think they're playing the Chink roulette too hard because they want to cheap out on getting something reliable.

I'm looking for Android TV Boxes
Thoughts or stuff I should know? Or experiences?
S912 chipsets with DDR4 are the best I could find
Are they expandable (some list that it is up to 3GB RAM is there a slot?)

Theoretically, the ff is possible:
>hook up HDMI to DVI over a DVI monitor
>or some rasPi-tier portable screen with HDMI powered by 12V/5V
>android boxes are 12V? so I'll plug it in 12v powerbanks for non-stop meming including the screen
>(occasional power interruptions where I live and portability hackstation purposes)

Are there better chipsets? Lineage OS or other custom android builds?
Thoughts?

Got myself a 17$ chink headphone amp kit. Still not sure if it was an okay deal or not.
Components are obliviously fake. "Elna" caps, non original markings on 7x15 and paper thin leads on ne5534. Tpa6120 is the only part that looks genuine.
Few resistors had wrong values, relay voltage was incorrect too.
Pcb was done by complete idiot. No ground planes for cooling, 100hz noise, decoupling caps were miles away from opamps.

Would not recommend. It's not fun to fix chink shit and still get mediocre result because you cant fix everything. Next time i'd better DIY it from ground up.

I this a good round-shaped mini projector?
https://www.amazon.com/Haier-Projector-Bluetooth-Wireless-Portable/dp/B01N97X7WT

I want a projector for me and my wife so we can look at our pictures in our bedroom.

And we also want it round-shaped and compact so we can literally use it any time to look at maps for video games, particularly RPGs. But in style.
Since phones are too small to use as maps and tablets are just way too typical and we want something that is special.
And we also want to take it on the go.

And finally, I want a round-shaped, compact projector since I want to paint the projector to look like the map from Treasure Planet (which is one of our favorite Disney films of all time, as well as our first movie date when we were 14), plus using it as an actual map is fancy, to boot.

I am planning on giving this to her for Valentine's Day so we can remember our first movie date when we were 14.
And despite being a gift, we share that projector, primarily for video game maps and for projecting photos of ourselves in the bedroom.

Are there any other options for round-shaped, portable projectors out there other than the Haier iSee Mini Projector?

The two things that helped my soldering was having a good quality solder, cheap stuff is a nightmare to use. And having an iron that heated to a sensible temperature instead of vaporising anything it touches.

Anyone has some experience with headphone earpads/cushions?

I have DT 990s and the default earpads are pretty much dead at this point, so I want the new ones. The original beyerdynamic ones cost like $50 where I live and I'm not willing to pay a third of the cost of goddamn headphones on stupid replacement cushions. I was the first to meme these into this general a few threads ago. Asked advice for the niggers at hpg, they told me to fuck off. Came here and a very based anon droped some advice on bt phones, mainly regarding most of the bluedio line, check that out if you're looking for guidance. I went with these, since then I see two more anons took the plunge itt.

When it arrives I intend to drop a few hi-res close-ups of the real deal, as well as a short review, if you'd be interested.

All phone based vr is trash. If you want a cheap introduction to vr, wait for the upcoming mi vr and the inevitable cheaper copycats.

The mi vr will also have a western release under the oculus brand for $200.

Before any pedant comes along yes, it will be pretty much a phone based solution. But the better screens, lenses and software optimizations should make a good entry point for vr. I'm also looking forward to mods.

So I got one a few days ago from my brother and I really like it. It has a lot of functionality for the price and it looks more expensive than $60. The display is kind of low resolution but it works like an e-reader e-ink color kind of display that is very easy to see outside in the sun or under light without the backlight.

The button on the side is used to activate the backlight and unlock the watch. They've also added English support through the MI Fit app. So you you just have to sync your watch and it'll update with English. It also has a number of downloadable watchfaces and press installed faces.

It's a nice watch.

I am looking for a new mediaplayyer, I used to have one of those RUIZU things, but it broke down after 6 months.
Big plus if it has micro-USB and Bluetooth, but not totally necessary.
Battery life is also pretty important like 8 hours of playback seems reasonable?
Also SD card support is needed(will be using my 64gb Micro-SD), as for price, I wouldn't want to exceed 20 bucks, but I am willing to spend more if it's worth it.
Files will vary from flac to WAV, but the more the better.
I could buy the same product, but I remember it sorting my songs in weird orders, and I couldn't change it.

Mi Fit requires you to register before they let you do anything with your device.
But that's the only time it needs to be connected, you can just deny it internet access forever from that point on. That's what I do with my Mi Band 2, and it works fine.

Also, you can install Gadgetbridge. It's the FOSS Mi Fit replacement app. Pretty shitty, but it has most features, I guess.

you should have good enough evidence to convince ebay in case the seller doesn't agree to give you a refund

on a shitphone, the seller gave me a 20 GBP refund (i didn't ask for more than 20 GBP) out of ~24.5 GBP (including shipping). i used pic related as evidence but also pictures of the actual phone to show the TN screen viewing angles to prove it's not IPS

also with graphics cards you need to check the item description very closely. even if it's called "GTX960", if the specs like the amount of ram and shader cores etc corresponds to a weaker card, it technically might not be false advertising although i don't know for sure if ebay will side with the buyer or not
>>
>>64314350
there is always the chance of the chink wanting you to return that shit to him to get your refund. i would just not do it, its a slow ass card anyway, even on a local used parts site you get a better deal on one of those

>>
>>64311765
I bought one a few months ago. Only the first half of the knob works, which the store informed me was normal, and other than that it's a pretty regular preamp. I really don't care for the clear plastic though, and the knob on mine looks different than the one in the picture which makes me wonder if it's a different revision.
>>
>>64314553

>>
>>64315435
>Only the first half of the knob works
Shit, that kinda sucks. Honestly not really that it changes much, but it will for sure bother me. Hopefully mine will be different.
But yeah, price was good and there wasn't much of an alternative anyway. There was another pre-amp that was like $50 and pretty much the same as this one, so no point in paying extra.

I've had my BGVP DN1's for about two weeks now, they seem pretty durable! I wear them under a full face helmet all the time and the cable hasn't torn anywhere, and the connection point seems pretty solid.

I probably broke 3 Xiaomi Hybrids this way, I just loved how those sounded and they were super comfortable under a helmet. The BGVP DN1's are better in every aspect except if you're not the type who enjoys wearing your headphones with the cable wrapped around your ear.

A4Tech X7 F6 was the best of the cheap gaming mouses.
Now it was replaced with X-755, which is about the same, but has a bit lower characteristics and lacks strengthened cord F6 had.
It's buttons are programmable and it has onboard memory for pretty complex scripts and 5 switchable modes each with its own set of scripts should you want them to be different.
I have 2 on different PCs, one had srved me for 7 years and the other one for 5, and both still work without a fault.

I recently bought Tin audio T2s after reading the review on audiobudget (got lucky, they were on sale that day, got them for 50 canadollaridoos) and I've been using them for a few weeks.

I was previously using Memt X5s, and the T2s blow those out of the water, though they're still fantastic earbuds for the price.
The T2s are very comfortable, the cable is nice quality, although it tends to keep shapes and gets tangled. The wires below the buds have already started turning a greenish blue from corrosion, but I've been using them 8-10 hours a day at work, and outside in the canadian cold, so I can understand.

The only thing I dislike is the plug. There are two heat-shrink tubes at the end of the plug but no other stress relief, and I'm very worried about the wires breaking at the bend, as it tends to bend and stay bent very badly.

It's the firmware for the cell modem, yes. The manufacturer could have put any sort of phone home shit in there, or the firmware could have exploitable bugs.
The same applies to any phone though, not just the Chinese ones, so at a certain point you have to either accept a bit of possible botnet or go full Stallman.

Anyway those first ones you posted look very similar to these, not sure if they're exactly the same but they are probably close and plus a bit cheaper
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/100mm-Velvet-Winter-Keep-Warm-Replacement-Earpads-for-Headphones-Beyerdynamic-Sennheiser-ATH-Sony-PHILIPS-AKG-Superlux/32846199052.html
I recently bought the 110mm versions of these, don't have them yet, you can look up different sizes, the one I posted was the same size as the Defean pads you posted (100mm).

I've also seen the other pads you posted cheaper somewhere else but I can't seem to find them

convoy s2+. I've had mine for about two years now and it's still like new. Well built and easily customizable.
>>
>>64328526
TP16 - Very clean and tight bass with a fairly low end punch, they will get down below 32Hz, when I bump up the 32Hz band they really punch hard. Mids are nice a clean, not shouty or nasally, not harsh at all.
Treble is nice and clean, a little held back if you're really into treble.

Seahf 64

Very, very punchy bass. I thought the TP16s were punchy, these are stronger. Will hit harder than the TP 16 when sub-bass is turned up.
Mids are clean, like the TP16s.
Treble is a little more forward than the TP16s.
Soundstage is huge on these compared to the TP16.

Both of these have a similar sound to the EMX500, just seem more refined. The Seahf 64s are my new goto bud now. Very clean sound, sound like I am wearing full size cans really.

I don't like the feel of earbuds without the foams, so these impressions are all with the foam on. The Seahf was $8 and the TP16 was $22. The price is good either way, I would buy the Seahf over the TP16 any day though.

+1 for the convoy s2+.
I have had mine for about 6 months.
I have the 2800mah version and it does get pretty hot non high after about 10 minutes.
Might be worth getting the version with the "new" biscotti it has more lower power options.

To be honest. the anodization on my own green S2+ has been pretty meh. I'm waiting for a TIR optic, a 3A driver and a few Nichia LEDs (219C, 90 CRI, 4000 and 5000K) to mod it since the Emisar D4 will replace it as my main EDC light.

Does anyone here who owns pic related know how I can get songs to show up properly ordered in the folder browser?
All metadata is correct, songs are named with track number at the front and they were all copied to a blank SD card using rsync (which copies in order), yet on half of my album folders they'll randomly be a couple of songs out of order right at the top.

it's nothing special but almost certainly better than most onboard solutions, especially laptop ones which are almost always noisy.
also, you should've looked at the feedback section, plenty of anons shouting out /csg/ in there. If you actually want a proper DAC then look at some FiiOs around the web.

>*Jan 1, 2016 I figured out how to use the Files folder on the main menu to create a list of artists and albums. I wiped the SD card and created a list of albums, artists, and playlists. In the artist section I created a folder for the artist, then did a subfolder of albums, and made an individual folder for every album as a subfolder. It now looks like Files >Artist > Album > Album 1, 2, 3, etc. and now when I go into a chosen album the song titles are displayed and played in order! I use the Files section as the main section, but I still have to choose Card Folder. It works so much better and allowed me to add way more albums this way.

Holy fuck lads, I fixed it. Thanks to some anon in the archives.
Solution incase anyone else has the same issue:

Turns out it's the fault of both fat32 and cheap mp3 players being shit.
fat32 for some reason doesn't store files in the order you transfer them and mp3 players just read the file order exactly from the fat32 table.

There's tools that fix the order for you, drivesort on windows and fatsort on linux.
All you need to do is open a terminal and run.
sudo fatsort -n /dev/sdd1

Now everything in folder view is in order, and sorted properly using natural number sorting (aka 11 isn't before 2).
I guess it being shit is actually pretty useful because you don't have to rely on broken chink sorting algorithms, you just sort the files using an external tool and then the dumb player displays them in that exact order.

Due to short fat32 filenames it still thinks that "Random Access Memories" and "Random Album Title" are the same album and groups all the songs together in album view, but everything is working perfectly in folder view.

Out of curiosity, what are the best sites for chinkshit clothes?

(And why isn't Wish on the list of sites)
>>
>>64332084
You're probably better off just going to local cheap stores unless you specifically want chink style stuff.
Stores like H&M and Primark (or whatever the equivalent is where you live) are usually way cheaper than chink prices, and you can actually see the quality of whatever you're buying, check the fit and be able to easily return it, rather than being stuck with some random item some chink picked out of a warehouse half way across the world.

Clothes are the one thing where you get what you pay for anyway and since shops basically get rid of all their stock every new season you're never going to be able to replace a cheap quality shirt you really liked when it starts falling apart. I've got one shirt I really like but it was super cheap and I have to keep sewing it up every couple of months because the stitching keeps coming undone. Now I just buy better quality stuff because imo the money you save buy cheaping out you lose having to spend hours sewing up and then looking for new shirts when those ones fall apart.

I had multiple KZ's in use for over two and some even for three years now. Didn't break any set yet.

But I generally don't seem to break IEM as often as other people do, plus I have 2+ in operation to get some variations in tonality. So IDK if that's good enough.

Will any of the chinese composite to hdmi converters make my ps1 look any better on my new tv or do I just need to get a CRT / framemeister for that?
>>
>>64337446
They are horrible, anon. When dealing with SD to HD upscaling, don't bother looking at sub-100€/$ hardware. Just not worth the hassle and quality (or there lack of).
PS1 is great as is on hd tvs/monitors with a good (clean) composite/s-video capture card.
