>>66773174
i never had something take 3 months, it must be some kind of rare surface mail. AliExpress only sell me their standard shipping or China Registered and their time frame is a month tops, maybe more but then the risk of having the package stolen/lost along the way is high.

Forgot they do sometimes give me Yanwen, but despite all the anons complaining about Yanwen they always deliver my items properly before 1 month just like any other carrier.

>>66773263
Sadly the shipping couriers don't ship batteries frequently, often it's just Turkey Post that will do it and they charge like $4-$8 for it. If you want good ones it's worth to import many from Japan or if you need 1-2 it's still worth it to go through small-scale Chinese markup vendors.

In my country the postman gets paid properly, if not generously for working during the vacation. Here service is considered something that you get without having to pay extra for it, so no, I never tip them. Besides, they run such a short schedule with having to deliver to probably thoudsands of residents during their workday, lots of stress, so they don't even have time to talk to you in order to complete their delivery route.

Rule of thumb: there are no real 18650 batteries with a capacity of greater than 3500mah, it's just not physically possible to make them higher capacity than that. Any battery that advertises a rating higher than 3500mah is guaranteed 1200mah or less. I've seen some that were under 200mah even.

Is 60$ really the least I can expect to pay for a chinkcopter? I don't need it to be too big (hand size would be fine), as long as it doesn't run out of battery in 10 minutes.
>>
>>66774279
>as long as it doesn't run out of battery in 10 minutes.
Good luck with that. Your options are
>buy a toy for $10+ and a couple of spare batteries, land to change battery every 5 minutes
>spend $250 to build an autistic one that you can eke 15-20 minutes out of
>buy the Mi Drone or a DJI one for whatever price they are selling for and get 15-20 minutes
>fill a balloon with helium and tie some string to it and it will hang in the sky for as long as you want

Bear in mind that the cheap toys have a range of 200m or so and will cover that distance in less than a minute so landing them to change battery really shouldn't be much of a problem.

>>
>>66775413
depending on your country, amazon might take about 1 week, and chinkshit about 2-4 weeks, unless you're in dire need for the item the shipping time is no big deal, you have other things to do than wait for the item, and apparently amazon allows sellers that ship from china as well these days
>>
>>66775331
>>66775378
If you are ordering garabage for $1-5 I doubt you care if you have to wait a month. The small cheap stuff usually arrives in less than a week for me, something like 3 weeks.

Personally I'd not buy from Amazon, there are sellers on there which probably ship directly from China anyway, unless you get Amazon basics, and as far as I know Amazon Basics is just the usual chink shit that is charged a more hefty markup on because Amazon brand on it.
>>
The infographic says that the ZUK Z2 is only ~$200, but a quick look on amazon shows that it goes for a minimum of $400.

Yeah I have a desktop psu. Its running off of sata power, but the fans dont spin up or anything.
>>
>>66776887
Clean your links anon, they're filthy
>>
>>66778746
If you are just wondering why the VGA doesn't power up when you switch on the PSU, it won't. You have to turn on the riser by turning on the laptop.

If that doesn't help either, try looking in the BIOS. Also have the monitor connected to the VGA card in the riser. Maybe try closing the lid too.

The way my setup work is that if I connect a monitor to the built in GPU and I turn the whole system on, both VGAs will be active and running. However if there is nothing connected to the built in GPU, it will not be active (Speccy will report 0 MHz clock speed).

Not sure what else I could tell, it literally just worked for me out of the box, didn't have to tinker around wind anything.

Oh he meant the PSU's fans? Well then yes, you have to either short the green and one neighboring black pins, or just turn on your desktop computer regularly to give power to the riser.

>>
>>66779005
Well, there could be a whitelist on the mini PCIe port, some laptop manufacturers do that to jew you in case you want to replace the built in WiFi card, so you'd have to buy an original replacement from them.

But if you could get it spinning, there might be a chance. There is an external monitor connected to it, right? If not, that might be an issue.

I'll now tell the saga of the DHGate bong that some might remember from last month

>order dhgate bong
>arrives broken, supposed to be modular but parts cannot be taken apart from each other, also a second piece that was supposed to come with it is not as described and less than half as large as in pictures
>i can replace the broken part, so request 27 dollars back of 69 dollar order. perfectly reasonable.
>"no friend we will ship new item for free, you see we already ship it, please don't dispute"
>reject their request
>ask for 27 dollars back again
>nothing happens
>10 days pass, request DHGate mediation
>DHGate says I accepted to ship out replacement item and refuses to refund me (this is a lie, and the item was also never shipped, they simply just gave me a random tracking number that comes up as pre-shipping for the entire two week period)
>Send message back to DHGate saying they are liars and to fuck themselves

And that's the story of how I claimed a chargeback for the first time in my life. Bank of America was excellent, assured me that nothing negative could happen to me, my accounts, or my credit, and instantly refunded the money from the DHGate charge. I also closed my debit card and issued a new one, so they can't try to charge me again.

Fuck you DHGate.

since neither of you got answers, and I never get a chance to talk about radios on 4chan (forgive the reddit spacing for clarity):

I highly recommend the TECSUN R9012: it's basically the best analog SW radio you can get for the price, and it's super fun to tune around on an analog set. It's got really FM performance (overloading) if you're near any high powered stations though. AM performance is surprisingly great, and SW is great, but requires active listening since analog radios drift a little.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Drop-Ship-TECSUN-R-9012-12-Band-FM-AM-SW-Radio-Multiband-Radio-Receiver-Portable-Best/32795398930.html

For a digital set, the Degen DE321 is an awesome all around radio. The analog dial is misleading, it's got a digital tuner. FM performance on this is insanely good, SW is also bizarrely good, and AM is OK but not great.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/DEGEN-DE321-FM-Stereo-MW-SW-Radio-DSP-World-Band-Receiver-A0905A-eshow/565046132.html

If you're interested in shortwave, I can actually recommend getting both, it's what I did to play around before buying a $100 digital set (and I still use both of the cheap radios regularly). But, if you wanted one, I would get the Degen, it's kind of ugly but it's a tank and it really pulls in stations and locks on to them. The Degen is also available with an English dial as the Kaito KA321 from Amazon or wherever, you'll just pay a little more.
>>
Why does /csg/ praise Xiaomi when it's not chink shit, it's pajeet shit?

For the longest time I tried to spend time and money on FM bullshit to connect to my cars stereo. Then I bought some cheap 50 buck single DIN radio and spent an hour installing it. Now I can connect aux, Bluetooth, and radio and it just werks. Fucking FM transmitters are a temporary solution to a permanent problem.

>KZ ED4
$12. Comfortable. The cable has the "rubbery" feel but that's not a good thing on IEMs imo. Nigbass is too strong, can be "fixed" messing with the EQ (by killing the lows and bumping the mids basically). The metal build is great. 4/5.

>KZ ED4
$7. Regarding confort and cable is almost the same as the ED9, maybe a bit more flexible. Nigbass feel is even more noticeable. Body barely feels like metal, ok for the price, I guess. 3.5/5.

I got them both for $13.50 somehow so it's ok but I wouldn't recommend them if you want a neutral sound. Both are loud as fuck and have great noise isolation though.

Oh also, the Tividio you posted is OK if you need the LCD and/or MP3 player functionality, but it's not the best actual radio in that price range. Here's some reviews from radio people if you want some opinions besides mine:

>3 GB instead of getting the 4 GB version
The phone comes with MIUI 8 right out on the box, make sure you don't update to MIUI 10 when you do get it and disable the automatic update for your note 5 asap since it'll try to update MIUI once you restart it after setup.
Xiaomi recently put in some anti-rollback protection on the newly released MIUI 10 so when people try to flash in custom ROMs it will brick your note 5.
Another thing that might be important, if you play mobile games like Pokemon GO, Fate/Grand Order or FE Heroes, unlocking the bootloader will also makes your note 5 fail to pass google's safetynet for those games which will cause them to fail on your unlocked note 5.
>>
>buy shit from China

For the vido, there's cheaper listing if you just search for Vido earphone. I've seen reviews about the Vido cable being sucks and there's even modding guide/video for the cable.
In my opinion, they're actually thiccer than Panasonic earphone that I bought for much higher price but I can't comment much about the durability because I rarely use the earphone.

budget for now is £10. Also it's either the cables or the earbud itself like for both the monks and ms16 at times the bud would crack open. The " only one ear working" problem is common.

Does aliexpress sell some sort of inexpensive device that you can put on your keys, wallet, etc to track them with your phone (via bluetooth, rf, or something - preferably not wi-fi, because then they're useless if you misplace them out of your house)?

I don't even know what keywords to look for.
>>
>>66783608
Analog radios are just that, analog, basically the same as they were made last century, but much smaller. You tune the knob and pull in a station, you may have to 'adjust' the tuning as the signal drifts, but you might be able to pick up some really weak stations that a digital radio would deem 'too weak' and skip over entirely.

Digital radios 'lock on' to stations as you're tuning, and try and stay locked on as the signal fades. Cheap digital radios will also 'fade out' between stations, so the 'tuning' process isn't as seamless as on an analog set that just plays what it's picking up no matter what. As mentioned above, they may skip weak stations altogether, but stronger to mid-level stations will come in much more easily, and arguably more listenable. Digital radios have some major advantages, but they can be harder to 'scan around' with if you're just looking to have some fun.

If you're going to spend more than $40, just buy a nicer digital set like a Tecsun PL-310; but if you're looking to grab some radio(s) on the cheap, you can't go wrong with the ones I recommended.

Oh good question, no it does not. It's just referring to the radio's chipset that does the functions of the components in an analog radio. You usually see them marketed as 'DSP' radios. I'm in the states so DRM didn't even occur to me; you'd want a radio specifically built for DRM reception if that's what you're looking to do.

Hey /csg/, I had a beer bottle thrown at me at random a week back that fucked my arm up and my Mum almost got assaulted by some crackhead, so I've been interested in purchasing a knife and carrying it on my person. I live in the shitty part of town but that town just so happens to be inside of Australia. Is there any precautions I should take to make sure customs don't confiscate it? I'm interested in something like a switchblade.

Chinks started faking tracking numbers more than usual. They send me tracking number that is for my country, but when I check with the post, it's not even delivered in my city. The stuff arrives anyway, but it's fucking retarded. You can't even prove that you didn't receive it.

Any KZ with detachable cable + their new adapter.
>>
>>66786633
No. Use HDDs. Much better suited for bulk storage.
>>
>>66786967
It's honestly just luck. Tell the chinks to declare it as something other than a knife to increase your chances but in any country where switchblades are illegal there's a 25-50% chance customs will confiscate it.

I paid 172 plus a case for 178 for the phone and 9 bucks for a case with it, plus I didn't find the 64 variant on amazon, I think they only sell the 32. But even then the phone was in my range for my budget.

>>66784437
Lemme ask this first; I don't do anything outside of having a custom launcher on the phone, and even then it's just a regular app from the app store, is that an issue?
And I didn't plan on doing anything like flashing another ROM mainly for the fact that I don't really do that and don't know how too. So if I do let the phone update, will that be an issue at all? Super tech normie here so that's why I'm asking

saw the 10" galaxy tab A on prime day but the size and plastic body (for reading manga) were a turnoff. Hope the price is ok.

>>
>>66786967
Switchblades aren't really good for any sort of defense and you can get away easily with carrying a Fiskars work/utility knife which are cheap, good steel, fixed blade and functional when you aren't out fighting bottle wielding maniacs, they are not very concealable though. Alternatively get a easy to open and lock folding knife if you are looking for something to conceal. Look out for brands like Ganzo and Sanrenmu if you buy knives from China.
If you actually want self defense, you might also want to check concealable batons. It's like hitting a person with a heavy piece of metal and is legally less bad. No idea what laws are like with them in Straya though.

Haha no, I really only use Ali for my chink shit. A 'DXer' is one who listens to shortwave and tries to 'catch' super long-distance signals. I'm not a super-serious radio guy, it's kind of just a catchall term for people who listen to shortwave. I just like pulling in news from other countries, mainly. Radio Havana Cuba plays awesome jazz and hilarious anti US propaganda.

So I picked up a Lenovo ZUK Z2 Plus, great phone, still kind of getting used to it. I do have a problem though. I’ve noticed that from the moment I’ve first powered it on with my SIM card in it, the phone signal started to get really weak, to the point where you get lucky if you even manage to make a call from the house, and I’ve never had this problem before with any other phone.

Is it possible that this phone could use so much signal that it blocks out the other phones?

T2 is more natural sounding, so it's a step up from the nigbass Zircon.

tl;dr:
Like nigbass and high treble like a real nigger? Go Rock Zircon and you can't go wrong

Like netural sounding (warning;: not much bass and treble by default) for equalizer? and replaceable MMCX cables with some retarded design so you can have your cables above your ear since they are so heavy t hey will probably fall out otherwise?
Tin Audio T2 is for you!

I literally wrote all my notes in Discrete Mathematics from a book all these student called "mystery math book" as it made little sense, in bringing up seemingly non-relevant stuff and then not explaining some crucial steps then expecting us to know it. And if you hold them retarded, like me, very nice marks on your pointing finger because they are all hard plastic and no rubber coating.

Norway.
No customs on parcels worth 43 USD or less, which is most the chink shit I buy.
Anything above this price is taxed 25% + around 30 bucks as a fee to be taxed. This problem I hope they will solve in the future, that they will tax us 25% and without a fee to be taxed, because that fee is hilarious when imagine paying 12 dollars in tax and 30 dollars to be taxed, where's the logic in that?
