"3D"/Crosseyed hentai

Cross your eyes and try to make both images combine. If it's blurry just try to keep it there, it will gradually come into focus. Don't try to force it.

How do you go about making these with 2D images? Every tutorial I'm finding says to take 2 photos side-by-side with a camera or move different layers around in photoshop.

Is it me or do these only work when the image is small (or zoomed out)? if the image takes up the whole screen i can't "merge" the two copies together

Did some research and it seems like there's a few different methods. Some people people break pics into layers and move them around using the liquify tool, others created depth maps and use the displacement tool.
Gonna dump a few pics..

It's more difficult if the image is landscape oriented rather than portrait. Move further back from your monitor, it'll be easier since you don't need to cross your eyes as much.

What about the animated ones ? Seems too complex and time consuming to do that using one of those mentioned method.

Each of your eyes works roughly like a camera, taking a flat picture because it is seeing from a single fixed point.

The way you are able to see "3D" in real life, and see the depth that lets you judge distance and such, is that the distance between your eyes means that the two eyes see slightly different angles of the same scene. This is super easy to see if you, say, hold up your hand in front of your face and then close one eye and then the other eye.

The images do the same thing, they are two pictures of the same scene modified slightly so as to give the impression of a different angle, and then when you cross your eyes, you are overlaying the image from each eye over the other and your brain tries to resolve this the same way it does for your regular vision, thus making the picture appear 3D.

This is 10 times easier on my phone than on my giant computer screen. Feels bad.

Forgot to mention, the result is being able to view this figure in "3D" and be able to sort of pan it with your eyes to be able to see all of the different angles. To do this, "merge" the two columns together and hopefully you'll be able to see it.

Why don't I see more 3d anaglyph pictures?

>>
>>4751152
because color images are a thing
>>
>>4751152
Because there's a lot of method available to watch 3D porn :
- Cross eyed
- Parallel eyed
- 3D screen (using passing or active glasses)
- VR glasses (even the cheapest like Google cardboard)
- Autostereoscopy gif (not the best in term of depth effect)

All of those keep the original colors. Anaglyph screw the color part and is okay to use only on black and white picture (like manga).

Tfw blind in one eye so I can't experience this.

I am able to cross the pictures no problem , but they seem to be blurry no matter what I do. Some anon suggested wearing glasses if you use them but that didn't work either. Only "solution" I've found so far is to use the vr function on my phone, but the cardboard is uncomfortable. Any other tips?

>>
>>4753167
Quite the opposite for me.
>>
>>4750902
amazing
>>
>>4747402
That's nigh impossible for me. I can't cross my eyes and still see more than a few pixels clearly at a time.
But I've got special glasses designed specifically for viewing this type of images. I was surprised when they worked the first time. The only disadvantage is I have to be at a very specific distance and looking straight at it.
>>
>>4749143
I'm a bit late but basically just copy the image so you have to 2 of the same image, then use the liquify tool in photoshop or something equivalent to slightly move parts of one image, more towards the part where the two intersect for farther and closer to the edge for for closer. make only small changes and test constantly to make sure it's fine.
>>
>>4753833
also make sure to only look at smaller versions of the finished product or it won't work.
