Opinion: I think the skill gap between a first-rate and second-rate VA is insanely high. Natural cuteness of the voice is a big factor, but that can only get you so far. The rest of them boil down to personal skill. Breathing, soft moans and other subtle stuffs that aren't even mentioned in the script add a lot of enjoyment and immersion for the listeners.

Previous works they actually put effort in making each character different. It's not like they can't do anything different as well like RJ293496 is good and it's an OL instead of JK.I don't mind them doing another JK gyaru but it has to be voiced by someone else at this point otherwise it's going to be another JK gyaru Kaede which is no different. The situations they come up can be interesting, like RJ315336 which is in a karaoke booth or RJ300204 which is in a manga cafe and you have to keep quiet but just imagine if the karaoke one is done by someone like Amachi who can easily do a genki JK gyaru, I think it would have been better. The latest one has proven that a different VA (Narumi) can give a fresh feel to their works.
Not gonna lie I still like テグラユウキ. I just stay away from their works with more than one dick in it and prefer 柚木つばめ. I think her pants/moans are really nice while 秋野かえで's are too repetitive and feel more forced. I also like how their fucking sfx sounds like skin contact instead of some wet noise.

There's too many kinds of technologies for me to look them all up specifically for each work I listen to, but KU100 seems to have more of an advantage with things like talking and moving around, but using it for sounds isn't all that great sounding. It might be just me or a bias since I do avoid KU100 for certain reasons.

And even then high frequencies (from the 10-20khz range) have no defined standard so you'll still get variations even between a 43ag and 45cc rig even though they both account for in ear resonances. It might surprise you but your local doujin circle isn't going to have acess to industry standard equipment. Rather than worry about the recording I'm more worried about your setup if everything plays back like it's piped through straws.
