The checkpoint for whether she dies or not is when she gets sick. This happens at a fixed number of days into the game. This will not happen until you take Sylvie out into town with you the first time which you cannot avoid. While out in town you can choose to take the normal route which gives you the chance to feed her, and this gives you the first flag, pancakes or sandwich. In older versions at least if you did not give her pancakes she was flagged to die during the illness.

You also cannot get to the illness until after she has asked you if she can help around the house. If you do not let her help around the house, she will be flagged to die during the illness.

At some point before the illness she will also ask if she can sleep in bed with you to avoid nightmares. Let her sleep in bed with you.

You must clear all of these events for her to get to illness where she will or won't die. Saying you don't get to that point is nonsense. These are events you have to go through for her to die in the first place so make sure you're paying attention during the playthrough. And yes pat her head and talk to her regularly so that her intimacy towards you raises.

So for the actual sound files, we need to change the directory structure a little bit. If the Anon managing the links in the OP wants to start a work in progress 3.x mods directory, the sound pack zip should contain resources/app/data/sound/TF/mods with the same sound pack we've been using for 2.5.2 inside mods.

I've been out of practice on this for a while so I have to recall specifically where I have to write the macro that will allow the ks files to recognize the voicemod script commands.

Already hit my first roadblock. Cannot for the life of me figure out how the fuck I need to modify the parameters in the voicemod macro in macro_TF.ks to even begin testing. It does look like there's some nice parameters that will allow us to trim down each macro line in the actual scripts to trim off the .ogg and TF/mods in the filenames.

I also already converted the macros for the buttons for enabling the voicemod at the beginning of a new game so those work. I've just finished touch.ks and completely rewrote some of the macros as well as finishing the unfinished parts from 2.5.2. The perfectionist in me is urging me to take this opportunity to do what I set out to do in 2.5.2: Use the variety of much more appropriate sound bytes in the H scenes where basic generic sounds are used.

Expect this version of the mod to not only be complete, but also of much higher quality.

I took a breather from wine.ks because of the sheer amount of dialogue in it, and knocked out wood.ks since it was pretty easy to go through.

Halfway done with wine.ks though. Going through and testing after applying the voice lines, and if I'm not satisfied I'll go through all the sound bites and find something better. So far I'm really pleased with the improvements over the 2.5.2 version of this mod. I never touched the sex scenes in 2.5.2 when modding, but there's a lot of repeating sounds used in that version which seems like wasted potential given the variety and volume of sound files available. I'll probably do the h scenes last.

There are no calls to the extensive dialogue used for eyes mouth touching and mouth kissing as well as shoulder touching and stomach touching. Rather the clickable_touch macro seems to be used and I guess it just points to the normal touch.ks lines. Head padding is the only exception simply because there's a completely different menu used for normal head touches, namely the shift in perspective. While drinking however that perspective isn't used.

I'm still getting floating legless Sylvie. I diffed both files and I went through your updated patch and diffed anything else that looked like it'd been updated but I don't know.

Before the changes I made to intro_event get too far away from me, I've uploaded my progress on the voice mod so far. If you diff and find changes other than voice lines, their changes to screen transition inconsistency in early scenes that have been present since I messed with this in version 2.5.2 and probably earlier than that. Such as skipping a black screen and going straight into a new scene, but still displaying ... leading to a double ... with Sylvie staring blankly at you with no bgm playing or her name plate showing on what's meant to be a scene transition ...

There's also at least one place where I added a silver eyebrow change to reflect what the narration is saying about her discomfort in town. If you think any of the changes are frivolous, feel free to revert them.

I overlooked something while diffing and found what was causing the problem. I see now that you removed the macro [show_stand] in that line, while I did not. Sure enough, that was what was causing the problem.

Updated intro_event in my link with the fixed macros for animated Sylvie. Other than the aforementioned scene transition macros being moved for consistency, I also added a shift to anxious eyebrows when going out together for the first time to coincide with the narration stating that Sylvie looks around nervously.

Worst case scenario I can simply port over the sounds for the H scenes, but I'll probably go through them anyway. There are a lot of really good voice lines available, but it seems like the scenes use the same handful. I haven't opened those scenario files up yet so it's possible that by virtue of how they work, that's just how the voice lines are unless I incorporate the RNG. We'll see though.

Also even without repositioning Sylvie, i.e. with vanilla scenario files, turbo skip sometimes causes Sylvie not to be drawn in a scene that calls for her standing facing forward. The quickest way to see this is to start a new game, turn turbo skip on constantly until you show Sylvie to her new room. Frequently she won't be drawn and it will just give you the options.

Likely this is an issue on Ray's end, since the translation is just trying to follow Ray's conventions in most cases, but there's a [l] where a [lr_] is probably intended. As a result, Sylvie's mouth moves non-stop even after the text is finished printing.

The line in cafe.ks is the first line after the else in *french, when Sylvie has never had french toast before. The line in the translation is "...This is? [l]"

If you're using a base JP version of the game with the translation from OP applied, the way to get each scene unlocked in Memories is revealed by clicking the Hints button.

If you're using a pre-patched version of the game that says NightSlayer or something in the title bar, get rid of it, get a JP version of the game, and apply the translation patch from OP.

Another Ray derp that we can fix on the translation side: In cafe.ks under *french in the if, the mgmg line has [p_] when it should be without the underscore, since the underscore tells the game to stop animating the mouth when the text finishes writing, but we want Sylvie's mogu mogu to continue indefinitely.

In the translation, the line is "Nom... [p_]"
