That canvas was like 2300x1600 or something like that, +/- 200, aspect ratio wasn't adjusted at the end so you can interpret that loosely. I used the brush at multiple scales, the brush in question is very sensitive to speed of stroke and pressure, so you can accomplish a lot through manual control, but I did thin lines like the blush, fine muscle outlines, etc with smaller brush. Probably an overall range from like 15-40 size. Otherwise yeah, it's the velocity modifier that's creating those bulbous starts and finishes. This brush is neat because it forces you to change your stroke style, makes you more conscious and disciplined. If you just sketch fast you'll get 1px thick lines because of velocity scaling. Gotta be deliberate, sometimes slow even, and smooth.
