I think the mortality rate on Omaha for the first wave was 50%, with some sections of that beach having a near 90% casualty rate for the first wave.Basically, you may as well just lay down and pretend to be dead until the show is over. Then just tell whoever finds you that you swallowed a lot of water and lost consciousness

People with high human capital generally got filtered into other parts of the army with the infantry getting what was left over.The same is true of Britain to a lesser extent.
