How come everyone likes the English Puritans but nobody likes the Scottish Covenanters?

Also, Scottish nationalism obsesses over everything “Highland” and ignores the more populous lowlands that had a stronger covenanting tradition. Despite Protestantism being absolutely crucial to creating modern Scotland, it gets ignored for the romanticism of Catholic Bonnie Prince Charlie. Honestly, blame Scottish nationalists and romanticists.
