How did they do it bros? So much kino lost.

funny, no trieste colored, which is the only thing they retained after all
>>
>>18489143
Trieste was ironically much less Italian that istrian and dalmatian cities like Pola or Zara that were like 99% italian. It was a massive melting pot of Italians, various flavors or slavs, germans, and even a sizeable minority of kikes

Idk why Italian chuds were so obsessed with these territories in the 1920s. Remember that fascism started in the first place because D'Annunzio wanted MUH FIUME

There was nothing to fumble, Venice was a moribund and extremely decadent state that was first torn apart by Napoleon and then got annexed into Austria at the end of the Napoleonic wars.
>>18489202
That was because it was A-H's main port iirc.

O FIUME
O MORTE
Give us our city back, slavmonkeys
>>
>>18489212
ah true actually, we should have conquered france
>>
>>18489212
It was more the butthurt effect of Anglos and French people to refuses to give what they promised in 1915. Fiume was a rather worthless city by itself

>inb4 some wilsonian cope
If Anglos and frogs wanted to honor their alliance agreement they would have just pushed for it like they did for the Polish corridor, Sudeten Germans and the carve up of the Ottomans.

Pola and Zarra were predominantly Slavic from the 11th century onward.

It makes sense.

nobody cares about your Haplogroup
it is about culture. The whole area was Italic in culture due to simple geography and history

IIRC the coastal areas of Istria were populated by Italians and the interior by Slavs.
When Charlemagne started settling Slavs in Istria the local Italian landlords were dismayed by diversity and arranged a meeting with him to protest it (Placitum of Riziano)

It was Roman, not "Italic", and that changed rapidly after the Slavs conquered and colonized the vast majority of the Balkan peninsula. The overall culture of the Eastern Adriatic had systematically shifted towards the Slavic mainstream between the 7th and 11th centuries, which is the reason why the centuries-spanning Italicization of Dalmatia and Istria had irreversibly failed. Fun fact, Dubrovnik, the city which midget shitskins are claiming as Italian, was the first, and one of the major distributors of Pan-Slavism from the 1500s and onward, and was instrumental in reversing and preventing further Italicization in the region.

Except that Istria was majority Slavic from the mid-to-late 500s and onward, and the dispute refers strictly to Istria's shoreline, where the Romans managed to endure the Slavic invasion.

>It was Roman, not "Italic"
It was likely Illyro-Italic mutts larping as Romans

Italy get nothing in return. They're backstab to their old allied, Germany and Austria-Hungary. Same with Romania.
